Once again, I have a STELLAR review for this store! My husband had his quarterly meeting and we ordered 17 box lunches, less than the previous order, and thankfully with less special add or subtractions. Like always they came through for us. This time, my husband called and asked if they could deliver a half hour sooner than we had asked. I thought he'd lost his mind to be perfectly honest, I mean it's lunch rush, seriously? However, there is no challenge they did not meet and exceed! They showed up not only with the food 10 minutes early, but again they had the boxes in the bags in order, with the person's assigned number (that we did at ordering to identify the person) and the sandwich right on the box. I used the drive-thru lane to order the #15 without the provolone cheese, toasted along with the jalapeño chips. I had no issues with the communication with the service. Within a minute, the order was correct, and I was quickly on my way out. It's a tight turn to get to the lane but there are many businesses at this strip mall, I was surprised to even see a drive thru. read more

I had the craziest day but I needed to grab something fast and healthy for lunch so I stopped into Jimmy Johns for a Little John (lower calorie sandwich). They were so patient while I tried to figure out what sandwich I wanted and helping sort out toppings. When I couldn't find my wallet for a minute they were so patient and remembered my order after they rang up the next customer and made my order fast and were so kind! The sandwich and fresh iced tea hit the spot and I was ready to tackle my next errand. Great lunch spot and I could see the drive through window get packed at 12... so maybe the strategy of walk in was wise and much faster at the lunch hour. read more

We ordered through their drive thru and the worker taking the drive thru orders was not nice. Acting surprised that a car in the drive thru was ordering two sandwiches? Wtf. What I order shouldn't be an issue for the employee considering it was two menu sandwiches; only one of the two sandwiches had a modification which was only no onion. These sandwiches are delicious! There is no doubt about it. If you have ever had a Blimpies Sandwich, it tastes most like that. These sandwiches will put Subways Sandwiches to utter shame. The bread is fresh, the meat is good quality. The place is clean, and the service is quick. Now having given all that praise I will explain why the paltry three star rating. This place isn't for the budget conscious. They nickel and dime their patrons shamelessly! The sandwiches start around four dollars and end around nine bucks. These are not foot longs or stuffed with meats either. Each sandwich is the same size. They charge .25 cents for a simple cup of iced water, and the combos are not reasonably priced either. Cheese is an additional charge. There are no specials of the day, no frequent buyer benefits. No discounts of any type... Not even a cup of tap water is free. They joke about how cheap they are with a neon sign that reads "free smells," or something to that effect. Based on the complete absence of customer incentives, I am guessing this chain does not value their customers. This amuses me, because I can recall many businesses that once displayed similar attitudes towards their patrons. Most of them are no longer around. read more

I finally stopped at JJ's for lunch and boy, oh boy, was I not disappointed. After reviewing the sandwich options, I ordered #12 Beach Club (fresh baked turkey breast, provolone cheese, avocado spread, sliced cucumber, sprouts, lettuce, tomato, and mayo). The sandwich was absolutely, positively delicious. I also had the JJ's Thinny Chips which are 40% less fat than regular chips, no trans fats and no cholesterol along with some sweet teat. The chips were also fabulous but the tea was, well, I will get something else the next time. I was very pleased with my meal and now, I cannot wait to go back over towards Concord Mills with an empty stomach. My apologies, I ate the sandwich before thinking about capturing a photo. It was that good! JJ's has a drive through window which was quite busy, but the service was really fast, and they have delivery as well. read more

This JJ has a drive thru!! If I didn't think JJ could perfect their simple, fast sandwich formula anymore.... I came upon this location that has a drive thru! Located across the way from Concord Mills, this location is a bit weird to get to with the parking lot design, but still manageable. Once you get inside, there's a large dining room (not what I've been used to seeing in other strip mall JJ locations). Not sure what used to be here, but I am very glad JJ took over the space. There were a number of diners inside - enjoying their lunch and we were about to be another satisfied group. The staff was very friendly and efficient and we got our sandwiches super fast (as expected) and we were well on the way back to the office. Can't beat speed - usually you sacrifice quality or $$ for extra time, but I think JJ's has a simple enough menu that they do it well and do it fast. Don't expect any bells and customize-able sandwiches here... I like having my free time so the less I spend waiting on lunch to be prepared, the more time I have as "down time" from the office. I really enjoy Jimmy John's sandwiches. I've been to many different locations and this one is by far the most consistent at making my sandwiches wrong. When I order something as simple as "no mayo, no onions, add hot peppers," I end up with mayonnaise, no tomatoes and no hot peppers. The sad fact is that the order takes my order correctly, therefore it's either a literacy or lack attention problem. They apologize profusely, but I shouldn't have to take my sandwich back to the counter every time I dine in. I've spoken to the manager, I have even emailed corporate, but the problem persists. Coming from the deli-centric lifestyle of the American Northeast, it's hard to give chain sandwich shops a fighting chance. While relocating to Charlotte, my realtor took me to this Jimmie John's, and changed my opinion forever! I ordered what I call the "tester"; an Italian sub/grinder/hoagie. It's the same sandwich I order when gauging a sandwich shop's chops. In this particular case, it's a #5, or a Vito in Jimmie John's colloquial speech. I was amazed at the freshness of the ingredients. The veggies were crisp and snappy, the tomatoes were ripe but not mushy, and the meats were fresh and flavorful. The biggest eye-popper/tastebud dropper was the bread! Fresh, buttery, and just the right texture! Altogether, I was hooked from the first bite. The bread-to-meat-to-veggie ratio is spot on, and the portions are perfect. The sandwichologists at this location seem like they've trained with a Pit Crew, as the orders were placed and processed in no time at all. Great food, great service, reasonable prices. The best thing about this JJ was the cashier. The lettuce was wilted. I paid seventy-five cent extra for cheese and if you see cheese I saw cheese. But this is what really bother me I asked the cashier to have them cut my sandwich in 4, I said it twice, and when they gave me my sandwich I asked again and when I got home it wasn't cut. I've been to this and many other JJ's in the state - this one is the best, hands-down! Great staff (minus one), and always consistent at getting my order correct. The bread seems fresher here and I've ended up with exactly what I wanted - every time. Not only that, they have a drive through; this location is the place to go. The only problem is the lead manager; he seems to be the only one that gets my order wrong (again, consistently). It's an easy to overlook issue though, as it's only one employee. read more

Jimmy Johns is always my go to when I'm hungry at work. Although it's five minutes away I always have it delivered to me, at least once a week. That's where this company fails. It seems like every time I have a sandwich delivered there's an issue. In a recent occurrence I ordered food and my total was $7.75. I handed the delivery kid $10 and without hesitation he b-lines for the door. I was so surprised I couldn't even think to say anything. Not a "would you like change?" not even a "thank you". The problem wasn't the $1.25 I would've saved (I always tip $1) it was the fact that he was so rude. I guess that's the price I pay for being lazy. Food is always 10/10 but service is 2/10 read more

You're better off going to Jersey Mikes. I'm pretty hesitant when it comes to rating someone 1 star, but there have been one too many instances with Jimmy Johns. First and foremost they are way too picky about the things that you're allowed to put on your sandwich. On multiple occasions I've tried to order a sandwich with a different mustard or different mayo and they've refused to give it to me, saying that I'd have to order a completely different sub to get what I wanted. Refusing to put a different condiment (a condiment that doesn't even cost extra) on a paying customers sandwich is a little ridiculous. I've always experienced very poor customer service, there one specific instance where I left my debit card at one of their locations (obviously my fault.) But when I called to see if they had it they already knew my name, but denied that they had my card. They wrote my name and number down and said they would call if they found anything. After 6 days of looking for my card I decided to call again just to make sure, and as soon as I asked the employee on the other line said "oh yeah we've had your card for almost a week." Not thinking to even call me and let me know. Needless to say, after multiple disappointing visits, I don't definitely think I'll be going back any time soon read more
