The tacos, egg roll and churros were super hot and fresh and the soda was also fresh and no aftertaste. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the long wait at the drive thru line - even though the food was worth the wait it seemed longer than normal. I want to say for starters I came here to try and get the bobblehead from their hot ones meal. It was a 50/50 shot of getting that or jersey keychain. Luckily enough I got the bobblehead that is what brought the score up to a 3. On the food side of things I got the hot ones buffalo chick n tater melt. It was one of the messiest things I've ever eaten with a majority of the tater fully falling out of the bun. I can't comment on the tacos as I was only near one of these locations briefly so I had to try to get the bobble, I didn't eat the tacos(it was breakfast time.) Cant comment on the environment as I went the drive thru route and was also embarrassed of ordering something like this, this early in the morning. It was a Thursday afternoon at 4pm. The place was closed. No signs, nothing. Considering we live 2 hours away and were anxious to go while visiting Charlotte it was a major let down UPDATE 3/23/24 I filled out the form on the URL provided by the JITB manager who replied to my review. I also gave my info so they could call me, and a gentleman just did. He said the store manager and three other employees were there, and they were "doing business all day." He didn't know why the doors were locked and said he would talk to the store about that and apologized. That was the extent of the conversation. read more

I haven't had the chance to stop by a Jack in the Box until today. I usually pick the sourdough jack burger and the last time I had one was probably 7 years ago in another state (Bellingham WA). Service was fine, waited for the order and it was accurate. The overall restaurant was clean and well maintained. The old-school Jack in the Box face antenna covers were displayed as decorative near the front. My guess is that these are approaching 30 years old since Jack in the Box gave these promotional items out for car antennas. When I tell you I was excited to see a Jack in the Box in Concord...there ain't no lie in that statement It's been 20+yrs since my taste buds had the pleasure of having a sour dough cheeseburger! Don't get me started on the best tacos at 1 in the morning after a night out!! I was truly hoping it was as good as I remembered. I was pleasantly surprised it was just as I remembered! It was my hubby's first experience and truly enjoyed the Smash-burger. Food was excellent. Cheese fries could have beet better. Only problem was we sat down and waiting 15 minutes for our food. Husband approached the "manager" not sure but she didn't have a name tag either...she seemed super bothered he was standing there. Saw him made eye contact and turned around to do something then just walked to the counter and stared at him. Not a hello, is there something I can help you with...anything to at least acknowledge his presence. We were the only two people inside. She came from the back cleared the screen and assumed that we had our food. Didn't ask...so we then waited about her 5-7 minutes for our food. I think her problem is she had her AirPods in and was on an actual phone call carrying on a conversation. My first time eating Jack in the box and probably my last time. It wasn't terrible, but it was a t bottle of average. I had the new smashed burger and there was nothing different about it. It's only 10pm and they don't have burgers, cheese, shakes. His excuse was that they don't receive inventory on Sunday so they're short of practically everything. How is that the customers problem? The only issue I have is the long wait in the drive thru, every time. Since this was close to my hotel, I went over here on a Saturday morning for a to go breakfast & lunch. One nice touch is that you can order any menu item 24 hours a day. The down side to that is a burger during breakfast hours adds a bit of wait time. The Ultimate Breakfast sandwich included ham and egg - good sized portion. Free wifi while I waited was nice. Jacks has a variety of burgers and meals. They also offer breakfast. But this is really my go to place for tacos. The shells are perfectly crunchy from being friend and the seasoned meat with cheese is a perfect combination, then add in the lettuce and bam a great taco for an awesome price. Let me start the experience by letting everybody know that I used to go to Jack-in-the-Box after a night out back in the 70s, the tacos were two for a dollar. They really hit the spot after a night out. Moving on to present time I still enjoy the tacos when I'm in Charlotte, it brings back memories. The tacos are now two for $1.89. They are basic tacos meat cheese, lettuce add one pack of hot sauce and you've got a interesting tasting taco. They're not for everybody but they could be for you. read more

They have a ton of food options, with breakfast all day, and some good treats for vegetarians. I love me some curly fries and jalapeno poppers, and Jack's are super yummy. The roughest part of my visit was the wait time. I stop for fast food and expect it to be pretty fast, especially when my order is minimal. I waited far too long for my food here, 2 tacos and an order of curlys took close to 8 minutes when I was the only one in the drive thru. I've only had Jack-in-the-Box one other time before in my life and this location was right across the street from the hotel we were staying at. We thought it might be nice to have something different than what we usually get. It was late in the evening and I think they were getting ready to close soon. The employee taking my order at the window was OK not very friendly but not rude either. I do wish he would've handled one situation better though. While I was at the window some other person walked up in between my car in the window and was trying to order there because the dining area was closed. The employee at the window wasn't letting him do that and the guy was getting kind of upset. It was very awkward sitting two inches from all of it. The employee getting frustrated with the guy just walked off leaving us at the window until the guy left on his own. I really didn't like the employee leaving me alone to deal with this guy. When we got back to our hotel room we open up our food and immediately wished we had gone somewhere else because the food wasn't good. People make mistakes HOWEVER the girl roles her eyes at me and said "ugh oooooook" The food took extra long for them to remake it.
