Listening to my co worker- I went to Jersey Mike's. Even though they don't have french fries. But that's besides the point. I ordered the Giant Chicken Philly Cheese Steak and added bacon. I stood in awe of the cooks as they fried up the meat. Even made me feel a little like I was back home in jersey to smell the peppers and onions melting all together. The sandwich is literally a giant thou- they are not exaggerating. It's like having four sandwiches at once. The cheese was perfect and I devoured every little bit while we sat out in the sun in the patio. Im exaggerating now - I was able to devour half of the sandwich and I wrapped the other colossal portion to go. I ate it after a late class- warmed it up in my oven and its tastes just as delicious as it had earlier. I could not believe the whole sandwich held up so well. Wow what a terrible experience! My husband dropped by to pick us up lunch while he was out running errands. While he was there the workers were so unprofessional and could totally tell they didn't want to be there by over hearing their conversation. They also showed no respect to the MOD. Our sandwiches where made so sloppy! I had to take my Portabella Chicken Cheesesteak off the soggy bread that was completely not edible to pickup eat. The order was placed online by my daughter. I went to pick up the food. The order was ready upon arrival. I saw them checking the bag for the sandwiches. However, when I returned home, none of the sandwiches were marked. We opened them and they all looked the same when we had three distinct orders. Not only that but the meat inside of the bread was minimal. I did not enjoy the sandwich. I stopped frequenting Jersey Mike's years ago. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I completely understand the frustrations of customer service and problem solving. However, being KIND and HELPFUL is a core part of any industry- and is not a quality these two exhibited during my experience at Jersey Mike's. Instead of counting and issuing my correct change, both the cashier and manager: 1. Refused to count the change in order to ensure I received the right amount. 2. Blamed me for ordering "too much food." 3. Tried to rush me out of the line, instead of addressing the issue at hand. 4. NEVER gave an apology for being rude, nasty, and disrespectful. 5. Cashier REFUSED to give me my receipt (even though that would've solved the problem, right?) Saying "Happy Holidays" while rolling your eyes with an attitude doesn't quite give happy, does it? Quite literally the worst sandwich place in the area. My order is consistently wrong. The staff seems to have never had training, or they're simply just trying to do things wrong. The staff seems a bit lost! The young lady who made my sandwich kept asking what I wanted as if I didn't repeat myself three times. She also didn't change her gloves after making the sub before mine or cleaning the work station with the sanitizer towel. The was a man eating behind the counter as well. Overall solid location. I've been here a handful of times after accidentally discovering it was here. It's kind of hidden. I've been here when it's super clean as well as super dirty so I'm guessing cleanliness depends on the staff that's present. Food is comparable to other sub shops but the food is very filling. They have specials Monday-Frida which is a regular sub with a combo for $8 and some change which is a pretty good deal. Minus 1 star for staff. Staff is pretty apathetic and not very helpful. I don't think I've ever seen any of the staff members smile before. read more

This is quite the convenient location for me now thanks to a new job. Whenever I'm craving a sub, Jersey Mike's is always my answer. This location happens to be tucked into the Best Buy shopping center that's located right across from Northlake Mall. I had no idea about this location until I got said new job last month. Each time I've been here (on different days and weeks), I've seen the same employees who are extremely kind and friendly. They're all extremely efficient (which is very much valued during the lunch rush) and make sure that you are satisfied with your sub/meal. I've had cold subs here for years and never been disappointed. On a chilly night my son and I decided to get hot subs. Now I know. Next time I'll go to Firehouse Subs for hot subs. My son ordered a meatball sub. At any other place I would see actual meatballs and a fairly substantial sandwich. Nope. My son got an overly saucy sloppy joe. Ground beef slathered in red sauce. When I inquired about why I was charged for a regular sub and not the mini, I was told that I had actually received a deal, as the mini cost more. ?? Does that make sense?
