First time eating here . Was in the area for work for two weeks . I ate here three times and got the same thing . The bot avocado is great and fresh . Definitely would hear more if there was another closer to home . Service was good

Got the Grilled Chicken croissant and a side of fruit. The sandwich was very good (as their sandwiches almost always are) but the "fruit" leaves a lot to be desired. Do better McAllister's - you serve good food but you should be embarrassed serving what I got today - 2 inedible pieces of pineapple (consistency of cardboard), one small half piece of a very, very soggy strawberry, two very small and very smushy grapes, and 4 pieces of decent tasting melon. Either do it correctly or take it off your menu. And this is not the first time I've received an inedible side of fruit from this location that I've had to throw away most of. I'll be back because of the sandwiches, but guess I'll play it safe and go for the chips next time.

The service was friendly and fast. We were surprised to see that they had "for a limited time" a muffuletta sandwich. Now the last time we had a muffuletta was at Central Grocery in New Orleans. What the heck - we gave it a try............. It looked the same. It was NOT the same. The olive mixture was all wrong. Seemingly an easy thing to get right ?? Pass on the muffuletta if you have ever had one in New Orleans. We had lots of tea refills. Their tea is always good !!

Great tasting sandwich as expected. They had chicken and dumplings still in the menu which was nice. Wish I had some honey mustard for my sandwich but I wasn't thinking about it at the time. I asked about bread in referring to my sandwich but the cashier thought I wanted to order white bread as a side. I paid a $1 more but whatever.

I really like McCalisters. I tried the new Chicken & Bacon Spud. It was good but needed more meat, cheese, sauce. The picture of course is what drew me in lol. All in all it was still tasty & I had the chef salad with pecan raspberry vinaigrette. DELISH!!

Ordered a GRILLED chicken Caesar wrap that was received cold and the thickest chicken tortilla soup (if you even want to call this mess that) in life. They have messed up our order several times before and we stopped ordering for awhile. We tried to give it another chance only to regret our decision.

Long hair found in Cesar dressing called store because i was back at work! I called and a man answered saying he can't do anything without me going all the way back to the store and he hung up on me!

I'm not a big fan of delis. Cold cut sandwiches sound so boring to me because they're something I can make at home and usually bring to work for lunch. So to go out for lunch at work and pay more to get the same thing is very unappealing. Tagging along for lunch one day, though, I went to McAlister's Deli. I was very impressed (and overwhelmed) by their menu. Not only were there cold cut sandwiches, there were hot sandwiches, salads, soups, and baked potato options, as well as full-on hot comfort food entrees like meatloaf and roast beast with gravy. I loved seeing the corned beef and pastrami on the menu. Mmm... A lot of sub/sandwich shops don't carry those two meats, preferring to stick with "the basics." I went with the Muffaletta, though, because it's fun to say and sounded yummy. Half Muff, please! We returned on another occasion and I wanted something fairly light, but it was also a chilly day. The soup and salad combo did the trick. I was one happy boy. The entrees are good-sized and there is plenty of seating so customers aren't all on top of one another. Your party can have a little privacy and enjoy their lunches in peace with the help of half-wall room dividers.

I had a dead fly in my food called and the manager acted like he didn't give 2 fucks will not be ordering from here again 2706 West Mallard Creek

It's right on the way to my yoga studio, so it's perfect for a quick in-and-out lunch, but honestly, it's also the kind of place where you end up lingering longer than planned. My usual order is the ABLT on rye with Boar's Head applewood smoked bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Simple, fresh, and consistently delicious every single time. I almost always pair it with the Spinach Bacon salad loaded with spinach, cranberries, goat cheese, tomatoes, toasted pecans, and brown sugar peppered bacon. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. What makes Rhino special is that it's more than just a deli. It's part neighborhood market, part coffee shop, part beer and wine stop, and part community hangout. They've got local products, grab-and-go snacks, fresh sandwiches, beer on tap, wine, outdoor patio seating, and sometimes even live music. It reminds me of the small independent spots I used to love in the Bay Area around Burlingame, San Mateo, and Palo Alto. Relaxed, local, welcoming, and full of personality. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere feels genuinely Charlotte. Not overly polished. Not trying too hard. Just good food, good people, and a place that locals clearly love. And if you are visiting North Carolina, you absolutely have to try Cheerwine at least once. It's basically a Carolina rite of passage. Cherry soda lovers will probably be obsessed. Me personally? Not exactly my flavor profile, but people here drink it like water, so clearly they are onto something. Rhino Market is one of those places that makes a city feel like home. Life is too short to not eat well, Charlotte. Get out there.

You order at one window, grab an extra items, pay, then they'll call your name/number. Super easy. I ordered the Rhino Club described on the menu as: Boar's Head Branded Deluxe Ham, Lower Sodium Turkey, Applewood Smoked Bacon, provolone, bibb lettuce, tomato, dijon vin on choice of bread. The ordering and payment process was easy. I was solo so I took a seat at the bar area to eat. Sandwich looked good when I unwrapped it, large slices of toasted bread with fresh lettuce and tomato. The strangest thing was, on the left side of the sandwich were several slices of deli turkey rolled up. On the right side of the sandwich were several slices of deli ham rolled up. I hadn't seen a sandwich made like that before. It felt like half of a turkey sandwich and half of a ham sandwich as opposed to a ham and turkey sandwich. Was it bad? Definitely not. I waffled between a 3 and a 4 star for this one but felt generous because, overall, I liked the vibe of the place.

Bread, meat and cheese were all excellent but all together it was just meh. I should have picked something else for sure. The broccoli rotini salad was uh-mazing! I'd come back just for that! I was happy to see that the sandwiches are reasonably priced for the area which tends to be super overpriced! But then I added a side and a drink and we were over $20 again. Ugh...expensive but right in line with the other places in the area. I will 100% be back!

Well, look no further as Rhino Market will give you plenty of options to start the day off right. We stopped here around lunchtime on a Saturday to grab some breakfast food. As it was already later in the day, I ended up opting for a lunch sandwich instead. The window to order is placed towards the rear of the store. The menu has plenty of breakfast and lunch options. After ordered, you go back to the front counter to pay. It's pretty tough not to grab a snack or two on your way to checkout. They also have some fresh brewed coffee which I tried, and it got me fired up for the morning. I ordered the Chicken Torta and it came out after about 5 minutes. The sandwich was presented perfectly, a beautiful picture of green balanced with some fresh deli meat. First bite, and I instantly fell in love with my lunch sandwich. You won't go wrong with a chicken torta, or any torta for that matter. There's plenty of seating in the deli, at the bar, outside in the common area, or outside in the yard. All spots you may choose to eat have wonderful vibes, especially in you sit inside the restaurant since they had a musician playing live music. All in all, I'm very glad I tried out this place as I can see it entering my rotation of quick eats around the city.
