I love Bojangles but this location's drive thru always takes a long time. I've waited 20-25 minutes in line but people do tend to put up with it because it is Bojangles after all. But the wait should be addressed. Staff is cold by the time you get to the window. No mention or apology for wait time and last time they told me my straw was in the box after I told her it wasn't. They have messed up my order every time I've been, I asked for extra sauce and was told that I was only allowed one sauce per meal, and the drive through employees are always rude. I have been to this bojangles multiple times thinking that it'll be better than my last experience but I'm always proven wrong. I'm a Charlotte native and have been eating at Bojangles since you had to stand outside in line to get your biscuit on West Blvd. I work across the street from this North Tryon location and eat here regularly. It has always been very poor service at this location and 9 times out of 10 my order is messed up or my food is hard cold and inedible. Today I sat in line for over 15 minutes after I had placed my order in the drivethru. I contemplated leaving for Burger King next door but I knew if I left and started the entire process over I could have had my food by then, boy was I wrong! After receiving my order I pulled away and popped a frie in my mouth. Unshockingly it was cold and hard, but I continued on out and stopped at the light where I popped my straw in what was supposed to be a refreshing cold Pepsi only to get a big mouth full of luke warm unsweetened tea-disgusting! I ordered breakfast on a Sunday around 2-3pm. I understand that breakfast isn't in high demand all day, but I haven't sat in a line for bojangles line for 5-10 minutes like I have this one. My biscuit was crunchy and warmed over from a heat lamp like it was sitting there all there all day. My sausage patty was not juicy, it was hard and chewy. It took a while for the bo rounds to come out. Two or three people behind me in the drive thru got their food before mine. Being from the south, I love me some homemade biscuits and fried chicken! Literally everything at Bojangles is delicious. The biscuits are warm and fluffy, the chicken is well-seasoned, and the tea is sweeeeeeeet. I personally enjoy the bo cinnamon biscuits or sausage and cheese biscuits for breakfast and for lunch definitely the chicken supreme combo. The chicken supreme includes four chicken tenders, fries, and a biscuit. I recommend their awesome honey mustard as a dipping sauce. Their fried chicken is great as are their side dishes including mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. There are only two things I don't like at Bojangles, their bo rounds and their green beans. Although these two side dishes could have knocked their score to four stars, the fries and mac and cheese definitely make up for it. Please order the sweet tea with any and every entree. read more

Today, my girlfriend and I went into this place to have chicken and buscuits after a long hike. This is a staple fast-food restaurant in the south. Why do they not have it up north you might ask? Well, people just cook better biscuits and gravy down here, even when it is fast food. I like this location, because they put soul into their food, whereas in the upperclass neighborhoods, I have noticed that the Bojangles are not very great quality. The biscuits aren't fresh and the eggs aren't cooked right. The biscuits here are always the perfect balance between crunchy and thick. Every time I come here, there's a new issue. Because I love bojangles so much, I always try to give them more chances, but after last night, no more. Usually there's little mistakes like putting ice in my drink, giving us the wrong sauces, or giving us unsweet instead of sweet tea. Their drive-thru times have been increasing lately as well. Last night, my boyfriend and I waited for about 20 minutes (not to the fault of the workers, but because of this van full of drunk people whose card kept declining for 10 minutes). When we finally got up to the window, she didn't know which order was ours. We told her which one we had and I paid. For the wrong one. I was charged over $18 when I should've been charged $12. We were handed the correct food and she forgot our drinks until we reminded her. We never got the sauces. We then asked for the receipt so I could make sure I got charged for the wrong thing, but she handed me the receipt for one of the transactions of the earlier car - $6.05 paid in cash. We tried to go into the store to fix the problem but it was after they had closed. However, they let us in anyway and after another 15 minutes, I got some of my money back. Management handled it really well, but everything just escalated way more than it needed to. read more

Absolutely terrible. Up until today I had only tasted Bojangles chicken from time to time at work, and I never thought it tasted good. I went today and got a 3pc dinner. WHAT DID I BUY??? The chicken was bland, and I mean really bland just like the other times I tried it at work. I paid $10 for small pieces. The leg was a good size, but the thighs were extremely small. When I want fried chicken, I want a good piece of chicken with flavor. I would say I ate empty calories. The sides tasted bland as well. I had the dirty rise and mash and gravy. I normally have very good experiences at this particular Bojangles restaurant. But on Friday the 13th, maybe this is why, I went in and ordered two roasted chicken bites meals. One with green beans, one with coleslaw. When I got home I had two roasted chicken bites meals both with fries. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with a manager. I explained the situation and she actually was the person who fixed my meals. She apologized and told me to stop back by one day and she would replace my meals for free. On Monday the 16th I stopped in. I asked for this manager and the cashier said that she was not there. I explained the situation to her and she kind of looked at me with this smug look on her face and said she could only replace six dollars worth of food. She asked me if the manager had written my name down. I told her I did not know but I did give the manager my name. She went in an office and came out with a big binder, I guess full of names. She said my name was not in there and she was willing to replace one meal. Just like I came in Bojangles to con them out of a roasted chicken bites meal. Really? Really? I will be going back but I will call first to see if the manager I was dealing with is there. I definitely will not deal with that cashier again.
