He showed me several that I might prefer but ultimately, there was one that he recommended the most. I wasn't convinced so he told me to take it home for a couple weeks, test it out, then bring it back or pay for it. This while not having to leave any cash or deposit. It was a leap of faith that I really appreciated, so I tested it out and ended up paying for it. Went back in today for yet another component. Gone are my days with an SUV at my disposal so I was in need of a trunk bike rack. The guy who helped me looked up the make & model of my car to ensure that he was only recommending a rack that would work. My car is anti-bike rack....other bike stores in the area couldn't find a single make to accommodate. PPC was not only able to locate a rack that worked with my car, they had it in stock, and the gentleman who helped me also took the time to show me how to install it. Top notch service here, these people truly care about their customers and their needs.

Each year, we have both bikes serviced/checked at Mill Race as they get transported to and from a warmer climate and we want to be sure they are safe after arrival back home. Each time, the work is professionally done in a timely manner, sometimes extra adjustments, and are like new when we get them back! Recently purchased a versatile, foldable, lightweight bike from Mill Race so it will be easier to transport...we want to try out other bike paths not nearby. Each experience with owner/s and staff has been pleasant and professional! The frosting on the cake is their concession stand with outstanding baked on-site cookies and drinks (even lattes) at reasonable costs!! And just before the start of an 100-mile organized ride in Wilmot, Wi! The nut had fallen of during a warm up ride, and the on site mobile bike shop didn't have a spare. He zip tied the cable to the frame and handed me the assembly. Fast forward two cycling seasons (did not ride last year due to injury. *unrelated to bike assembly )... On the first ride of this season, last month (July, 2015), my buddy got a flat tire after running over a piece of a shoe sole that had a nail in it. When the piece of sole fell out, the tire went completely flat. He started walking his bike, and we soon found ourselves at this new-ish bike shop. It was about a mile away. The only person in the place was Wylie. He was ultra helpful! He took care of my buddy's flat in no time! While we were waiting, I figured it was a good time to get my brake assembly fixed. I asked Wylie if he had a nut to repair my brake assembly. He said that he didn't think he did but would call a nearby shop (Sam's?) to see if they could help. I didn't have the assembly with me, but it was in my truck (~10 miles away). Wylie called the shop and said he could help. I told him I'd be back after we finished our ride to pick up the part. About 2hrs later, I stopped by the shop and Wylie had the part delivered within 5 minutes! He even put the brake assembly back on the bike for me! No charge! 5-star service! Good people! I personally like having a shop near my home where I can browse and dream about the best bikes in the industry. He has everything, and knows everything…read more I decided to shop there because he stayed late after hours one night to help my wife with a last minute emergency repair. He spent a couple of hours with me fitting me correctly, narrowing down my riding style, and letting me ride a bunch of bikes. Once you get to know him, he's WAY friendlier then people give him credit for. I've never had anyone give me the attention at any bike shop like he did to make sure I bought the right bike. After the purchase, he took 20-30 minutes and went over every nut, bolt, and adjustment on the bike before I took it home. He's also a paisano, so we got to speak Italian with each other, which is hard to find around here!
