Each time, the work is professionally done in a timely manner, sometimes extra adjustments, and are like new when we get them back! Recently purchased a versatile, foldable, lightweight bike from Mill Race so it will be easier to transport...we want to try out other bike paths not nearby. Each experience with owner/s and staff has been pleasant and professional! The frosting on the cake is their concession stand with outstanding baked on-site cookies and drinks (even lattes) at reasonable costs!! He showed me several that I might prefer but ultimately, there was one that he recommended the most. I wasn't convinced so he told me to take it home for a couple weeks, test it out, then bring it back or pay for it. This while not having to leave any cash or deposit. It was a leap of faith that I really appreciated, so I tested it out and ended up paying for it. Went back in today for yet another component. Gone are my days with an SUV at my disposal so I was in need of a trunk bike rack. The guy who helped me looked up the make & model of my car to ensure that he was only recommending a rack that would work. My car is anti-bike rack....other bike stores in the area couldn't find a single make to accommodate. PPC was not only able to locate a rack that worked with my car, they had it in stock, and the gentleman who helped me also took the time to show me how to install it. Top notch service here, these people truly care about their customers and their needs.

He has everything, and knows everything…read more I decided to shop there because he stayed late after hours one night to help my wife with a last minute emergency repair. He spent a couple of hours with me fitting me correctly, narrowing down my riding style, and letting me ride a bunch of bikes. Once you get to know him, he's WAY friendlier then people give him credit for. I've never had anyone give me the attention at any bike shop like he did to make sure I bought the right bike. After the purchase, he took 20-30 minutes and went over every nut, bolt, and adjustment on the bike before I took it home. He's also a paisano, so we got to speak Italian with each other, which is hard to find around here!

When I arrived--before I had even taken the bike out of the car--an employee came out with a terrible attitude; he didn't even say hello. I explained what the company had told me to do, but he claimed to know nothing about the issue and refused to accept the bike. I called the company and handed him the phone so he could speak with them; eventually, he agreed to take it. He just said, "Fine, leave it there," turned around, and walked back into the shop!! An electric bike is really too heavy for one person to handle; I had to ask my wife to help me get it out of the car while the young man just watched from the window. I know that isn't technically his job, but come on--there should be some basic courtesy or willingness to help customers. I really do not recommend this place. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but I hope he sees this message and rethinks his attitude if he actually likes his job. Customers come for services, not to ask for free favors.

He serviced it for two years and it ran like a top. In the good riding months I put on over a hundred miles a week. Because of proximity I used another shop last year . Started with an expensive tune up but I had problems with it throughout the season. I knew where I had to go. I just got my bike back from Eric's shop today. Had a great 15 miler and once again it's running like a top! Eric is a master bike mechanic. He is always looking to do the best job with the least expense to you. And on an on an on an on and on. And on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. And on and on and on and on and on an on and on and on and on and on. It was a long time. I waited. And I waited some more. I did some serious waiting five feet away in a red sweater. No acknowledgment. No letting me know it might be a while. But that would've likely stopped the upselling I started to see. So I turned me and my bike around and left. It's hard for me to be on my feet that long. That's why I bike. Dood has a right to be into his subject matter. Usually shops want you to feel comfortable and respected as somewhat of a priority, even if you aren't being directly pitched at the moment... it just was not a good vibe. All doods working there when I was in. Way heavy on the dood vibe. Captive audience syndrome. Sigh. Dood has to do what a dood does. I avoid places like this.
