    AMY IS THE BEST!!!! She was our planner for our 2022 wedding and honestly...what DIDN'T Amy do?!? She is literally an angel sent from heaven above. She gave us our DREAM wedding within our budget, which we never thought was going to be possible. It was the BEST day of our lives thanks to Amy!!! Amy did the planning, decor, bar, florals, managed staff, and so so SO MUCH MORE. She recommended almost all of our key vendors who were also amazing such our venue (Balboa Inn), catering, DJ, makeup artist, and hair artist. Our guests cannot stop talking about how AMAZING the food was by the way. From the first conversation, we knew that Amy was going be incredible because she is honest, compassionate, professional, dedicated, knowledgeable, and at her core, helpful and caring. She is the hardest worker I've ever seen, and we just feel so blessed that we met her. Amy has a ton of experience and gave us so much great advice throughout the planning process about all the details, which as I'm sure my fellow brides can appreciate given all the little decisions we have to make for our big day! Thank you a million times over, Amy, for helping us dream up and execute the best day of our lives!!!!

    I got married at the Queen Mary on June 9, 2018 and I am so thrilled that I booked Amy. She came recommended to me by the Queen Mary so it was an obvious choice, but she really surpassed and exceeded all of my expectations! WOW! In addition to coordinating our day, she also did all the floral and decor. She completely understood my vision and it all turned out even more gorgeous than I had pictured in my head! In the months leading up to the wedding I felt a little bit lost and she gave me direction and focus, taking the pressure and stress off of my shoulders! She is obviously experienced and knows exactly how to run the show. In the weeks leading up to my wedding she contacted all of my vendors and became the main go-to person for them so that I didn't have to be concerned with it. The day of ran like clockwork. She and her team were on top of everything- including fixing my dress when the bustle broke and bringing all of our things (gifts and personal items) back to our suite during the reception so we didn't have to worry about losing them. Everything was absolutely perfect. I am so pleased with Amy and her team. I highly, highly recommend Lucas Jeanne Events!!!

    I used this company for bar tending services for my wife's 30 birthday party. I have attached my email I sent after the event to the coordinator; I think it pretty much sums up our experience. I am reaching out to you to thank you for your services. In particular I wanted to let you know that the bartender that served our party, Storm, did an exceptional job. I had numerous compliments on what a great job he did and how friendly and personable he was. He got there early and asked if there's anything else he could help with. I noticed him walking around throughout the night and picking up loose bottles and trash. He did an all-around fantastic job. Several guests including my wife, the birthday girl, came up to me and wanted to let me know what a great job he was doing. I would absolute use this company again.

    I had my wedding at the Queen Mary on 11/17/17 and I couldn't have had a better coordinator and decorator than Amy. All of my florals came out stunning and she made the entire event efficient and stress free, even when I was scattered brained with my own personal prepping. She thoroughly communicated with the Queen Mary staff (one of which, Breanna from the QM event coordinator, was fantastic as well), my outside vendors, my wedding party, and the guests to ensure everyone was on the same page with no confusion whatsoever. She made sure that everything went off without a hitch. She was so well prepared, and even had additional decorations on hand in case I missed something (which came in handy when I forgot about centerpieces for my sweetheart table ). I had received a lot of comments on how beautiful everything looked and how nice and wonderful she was to work with. Amy continued to have such great enthusiasm throughout the whole process and presented such great suggestions on what types of decor would work so hand in had with my ideas and the salon I chose, along with such a wonderful photographer who brought the same exuberance to my big day. She was very attentive to what I was looking for and how to work within the means I had. These are some images from my wedding, provided by Jenn Spain from Rawtography. I wouldn't have been able to find such an awesome photographer without Amy's help!

    Amy was my wedding planner for my June 2020 wedding! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I noticed Boho Belle Weddings listed on many OC vendor lists when my husband and I began our venue hunt so we reached out and got an immediate reply from Amy. She's very easy to talk to and has been in the business for years. She had many pulls when it came to venues, catering, music, etc. Due to Covid, we had a pretty wild ride. We initially were set to have it at the Newland House Museum in HB but the shutdown happened. (I didn't even know about it as it's not listed online as a wedding venue). We postponed a month after Amy miraculously found us a better venue at essentially the same price!!! Amy's company also handles the bar, decor, dinnerware, and floral at a fraction of the price when we looked at other places. You guys, I gave Amy a very conservative budget and she delivered! The details.... The details were everything. My wedding day was more beautiful that I could have ever imagined. Also, my mother was a complete nightmare and Amy literally took the reigns and made sure I was good every step of the way. We joke she should be a life coach as well. I gained a life long friend.     We used Lucas and Amy for our wedding reception at the Island Hotel in Newport. We rented speakers for the band and they also did the centerpieces for 40 tables along with sweetheart table and other decor for the event. The floral design and execution was flawless. I was absolutely thrilled with the work. So professional and on point. The peace of mind with this crew was priceless. My wife couldn't have been happier with the flowers. I had forgotten to rent the wireless microphone unit with the speakers and went into panic mode the day of. I called Lucas frantically just an hour before guest arrived. He jumped in is car and delivered one. He even ran in and made sure it got connected correctly. Total life saver. 400 guest event was chaotic but these guys made the space sooo beautiful. Highly recommended.

The bridal suite and upstairs loft area was great for pre-ceremony photos and the main area (used for both cocktail hour and reception) was the perfect blend of elegance, rustic charm, and cute accents. They also have a photo booth which we and our guests (we ended up with 90 total) loved! The night went so smoothly (they went above and beyond by improvising a tie breaker for our shoe game with a twist, wrapping our tossing bouquet in flower tape last-minute, and letting us borrow items like a card box and dessert stands/cutlery. Our 6-week coordinator Jamie was an absolute superstar in helping us iron out those last little details, and she was a total sweetheart in all our meetings and text exchanges (she even sent us pictures she took at our wedding a few days later via text). The day of the wedding she handled so much behind the scenes and kept everything moving smoothly without making anything feel rushed. You can tell she really cares about what she does and wants the day to go well for you. Having her there made a huge difference. The venue itself is beautiful. Driving in through the vine-covered entrance and seeing the Victorian house and gardens immediately sets the tone. It already has so much character that you don't need a ton of extra decor to make it look great, which our photographer loved because there were so many photo spots around the property. Everything on the venue flows really well too. Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all close together so guests never felt like they had to wander around trying to figure out where to go next. The bridal and groom suites were also really nice and gave us a place to relax and get ready before everything started. The staff were professional, organized, and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the day which helped take a lot of pressure off us. We also liked that the venue allowed some flexibility with vendors and personalization so the wedding still felt unique to us.     We met Eliza when touring a venue for our wedding that required everything to be brought in. We followed up to see what wedding planning packages she had and safe to say this was the best decision made. Eliza, Tammy + Team provided the full service for our wedding. We hired them for planning, design, coordination, rentals, and florals and it made life so much easier. I had the best experience with Eliza and team with our weekly meetings for a few months to align on all the details. She understand and appreciated our mixed cultural background and how we wanted to incorporate elements of this for a Persian and Vietnamese wedding. I have always heard wedding planning to be stressful but safe to say my experience was the best and the day of the wedding went beautifully. Nothing ever goes to plan and I'm really happy Eliza and her team are experienced enough to adjust to last minutes changes such as guest no shows, etc. She captured our vision perfectly and I'm already thinking of future events I would plan with Bel Events again!

    Horrible experience, stay away!…read more This is a review for Eliza at BEL Events for her wedding planning services. We met Eliza at our venue 8 month before our wedding date. During the first session she presented herself well, and she talked and bragged a lot about her 18 yrs of experience in event planning and stories about how she handles wedding situations. So, we thought she is the right event planner for us and signed a contract. After signing the contract and making the payment, she was very hard to find and we did not see the expected action from her side, and every time we followed up, her response was: "don't worry I will manage everything before the wedding day". We were asking for the basics of planning such as timeline, vendor recommendations (a few to choose from) and communications (which was part of the contract) but not no action except a quote of her own rental service. We were getting closer to the wedding date and her lack of action made us so worried and very frustrated. Eventually we had to get involved and did almost 90% of the work ourselves. She was very hard to find but even when we could talk to her, she would create more unnecessary problems to an extant that my wife had panic attacks after a few meetings we had with her. 2 month before our wedding she caused so much anxiety and frustration that we decided to end our contract with her and find another planner. Thankfully, our new planner was amazing and our Wedding planning went very smooth after that, and the event was as wonderful as we could imagine! With way lower cost than what Eliza had proposed! After I requested to cancel the contract she disappeared and never responded to our emails, which is very unprofessional. Here is a list of a few issues from our experience of working with here: 1- Accessibility: every time we had a question or needed to talk to her, it was taking several days until she gets back to us. With irrelevant excuses, like she would show me her busy google calendar! 2- Push to use her own services as vendors: Per her contract she had to suggest different vendors so we can choose. But since she has rental and flower services, she was arguing so much to stop us from even looking at other options! She charges unnecessarily expensive! By doing a little research, we found our vendors and saved at least 50% with same or better quality! 3- Nonsense arguments and rude attitude: In many occasions she was just insisting on holding the event the way SHE wants, without paying attention to our request or desire. Every time we requested something, her answer was: "I don't want MY event to be that way or I don't want MY guests to be that way"!!! With a condescending attitude emphasizing that "I have 18 yrs of experience and I know what to do"!!! Any simple request would become a long story and unnecessary argument. In one occasion my wife requested that guests throw flower petals while walking out of aisle, and she immediately said: "No!, you can't do that, I don't want my cleaning crew spend time on cleaning the petals"!!!! In another occasion Eliza was insisting on only using her recommended valet service (which was quoting more than double the price of the service we eventually used) and on top of it she was forcing us to rent extra parking lot out of venue and pay extra for shuttle service!!!! While the venue had enough capacity! And when I respectfully said: I am confident that the venue has enough capacity for parking, she got very angry and said: "in that case tell all your guests to use UBER and they can't drive their own car"!!! It was a nightmare working with BEL Events and I don't recommend her service due to lack of professionalism and decency in her business.
