I got married at the Queen Mary on June 9, 2018 and I am so thrilled that I booked Amy. She came recommended to me by the Queen Mary so it was an obvious choice, but she really surpassed and exceeded all of my expectations! WOW! I had my wedding at the Queen Mary on 11/17/17 and I couldn't have had a better coordinator and decorator than Amy. All of my florals came out stunning and she made the entire event efficient and stress free, even when I was scattered brained with my own personal prepping. She thoroughly communicated with the Queen Mary staff (one of which, Breanna from the QM event coordinator, was fantastic as well), my outside vendors, my wedding party, and the guests to ensure everyone was on the same page with no confusion whatsoever. She made sure that everything went off without a hitch. She was so well prepared, and even had additional decorations on hand in case I missed something (which came in handy when I forgot about centerpieces for my sweetheart table ). Amy was my wedding planner for my June 2020 wedding! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I noticed Boho Belle Weddings listed on many OC vendor lists when my husband and I began our venue hunt so we reached out and got an immediate reply from Amy. She's very easy to talk to and has been in the business for years. She had many pulls when it came to venues, catering, music, etc. Due to Covid, we had a pretty wild ride. We initially were set to have it at the Newland House Museum in HB but the shutdown happened. (I didn't even know about it as it's not listed online as a wedding venue). We used Lucas and Amy for our wedding reception at the Island Hotel in Newport. We rented speakers for the band and they also did the centerpieces for 40 tables along with sweetheart table and other decor for the event. The floral design and execution was flawless. I was absolutely thrilled with the work. So professional and on point. The peace of mind with this crew was priceless. My wife couldn't have been happier with the flowers. I had forgotten to rent the wireless microphone unit with the speakers and went into panic mode the day of. I called Lucas frantically just an hour before guest arrived. He jumped in is car and delivered one. He even ran in and made sure it got connected correctly. Total life saver. 400 guest event was chaotic but these guys made the space sooo beautiful. We just had my daughter's wedding at the Queen Mary last weekend and I can heartily recommend Lucas Jeanne Events. We used their services as Day of Coordination (which is actually more like 2-4 weeks before the big day) as well as floral for 17 centerpieces, 11 Bridesmaid's bouquets plus the Bridal bouquet. Amy contacted all our vendors multiple times during wedding week and kept them on schedule. Floral was exceptional and Amy and her team were on top of every detail! Most of our decor was DIY. Amy had the forethought to add to our decor to fill in some spots with some of her own stock when ours came up a little short for a couple cocktail tables. Her team magically picked up our DIY boxes the day before the wedding so we didn't have to transport them! Before the wedding Amy called and said she was going over our linen choices and recommended that we go with a satin floor length rather than a half length. Since these were rented through the venue, Amy received no compensation for this upgrade, but boy, was she right about the change. It gave our tablescape just the right air of sophistication that went hand in hand with our centerpieces. That small change made a huge difference. After the ceremony, Amy adjusted some day of timeline issues (events we could not have anticipated even with her well planned and bride approved timeline) that allowed the bride more time with the photographer as well as keeping our reception on schedule! We were running long due to speeches and had a hiccup about a special missing song choice, and she handled it professionally, gracefully and quickly much to our relief. Special decor, gifts, and mementos were taken to our hotel rooms at an appropriate hour so we didn't have to worry about packing them. I am sure there are many other issues Amy took care of that I do not even know about. My hat is also off to Breanna of the Queen Mary staff. She was gracious and organized as well and made us feel comfortable with all our banquet/decor choices! As the mother of the bride, I was able to enjoy many exceptional moments during the reception rather than handling every detail that needed adjusting. We received multiple compliments on our reception (even by the Banquet Captain). Everyone said it was the best organized and most beautiful reception they had ever attended, and that they could "feel" the love in the room!" The best part of our experience with Amy and the whole team was their genuine warmth, caring and their desire for perfection for our event. I was really torn about writing a review for Amy or not, but decided to so I can warn others who decide to hire her for their wedding. I wish did more research on coordinators and stuck to my initial instinct about Amy rather than relying on her positive reviews. The Queen Mary recommended her and she does many events at The Queen Mary so we were happy to hire her. We met up with her and everything seemed good until the email. I thought Amy was slow at replying at emails ( I took it as me being impatient so didn't think much of it), but she even asked for information that was already given to her in an previous email. Fast forward to our rehearsal day and Amy is late 20-30mins making everyone wait for her. Shouldn't she be on time or early? During the rehearsal I felt like she rushed the instructions and run thrus since it was a very hot day... On the wedding day we finally realize how disorganized Amy is. Here are some complaints. She was not very responsive with responding to texts. She did not keep us on track of our timeline as promised. She did not help/assist seating arrangements for the ceremony. Our floral package was hideous. I sent her my vision board and my floral looked nothing like the inspiration. At the last minute, artificial floral was used. I paid a good amount for fresh floral. We were suppose to give flowers to our parents during the ceremony, but flowers were not left on the table for us to give them out. She promised an "Assistant" which was her Husband who is inexperienced and had no clue on what was going on with the timeline when asked. No wedding is going to go exactly as planned or be perfect, but having unnecessary problems like not having the flowers to give out or not sticking to the timeline is something easily avoided if our coordinator was on top of things. In the grand scheme of things it was the best day of my life, but would have definitely gotten a different coordinator to avoid unnecessary added stress to the day. read more

There are not enough words I can use to describe how AMAZING Amy was for us not just on our wedding day, but also throughout the planning process. We were recommended Amy through the Queen Mary, specifically Breanna who is also wonderful. We had Amy for our day of coordination as well as for flowers and decor. Amy was like a guardian angel to me and my husband both the day of and prior to the wedding. I'm a teacher and had a hectic schedule during the year but Amy was flexible and able to call, email, and contact me at all types of hours and I was so grateful!! Amy was on top of everything, and she relieved all of the stress I had during the school year and leading up to the wedding! She clearly had tons of experience and was able to give me honest suggestions and ideas in regards to decor, florals, and details. Amy also works closely with the Queen Mary and is familiar with the locations on the boat and staff on the boat which was a HUGE asset, since we unfortunately had many mishaps on our wedding weekend which I will mention in my review of the boat. But despite all these mishaps my wedding went off wonderfully and I know without a doubt that it was Amy and her expertise that made my day perfect! One example, of Amy's amazing expertise and kindness happened even before the wedding! Since our wedding was Sunday and our rehearsal was Friday we decided to stay on the boat that weekend with our family and bridal party. Unfortunately this weekend ended up being incredibly stressful, involving terrible rooms, ridiculous overcharging, and just all the little annoying things a bride doesn't want to deal with two days before she's married. It was during one of these mental breakdowns caused by the ill managed hotel that Amy first came in to save the day. I was sobbing in front of the hotel desk and Amy came to me right away, she helped calm me down and got me in contact with the head of the hotel to fix the many, many, MANY terrible things that had happened. Amy was there for a meeting but took the time to come check on me and help fix all of the problems I was having, and that was just one of many instances where Amy was my guardian angel that weekend! After Amy's intervention we were able to fix many of our problems and get our weekend back on track. Fast forward to the wedding day, Amy was in constant contact with me throughout the day and handled all of the big and little details so that I could focus on getting ready with my bridal party and enjoying the day. Amy met with my vendors and coordinated where they should be and when, she brought us champagne when things again got rocky (again by the incompetent staff of the queen Mary), she used the decor I brought to make a beautiful reception space, as well as provided us with an amazing arch for the ceremony, she had room service clean our room while we were at our reception and lined up our gifts in our hotel room neatly, and so, so, SO much more! Out of all the vendors we had on our big day, without a doubt, Amy was one that I absolutely could not have done without. If you are having your wedding on the Queen Mary you MUST have Amy with you!! I would highly recommend Amy for day of coordination, florals, and decor!! She was literally a life saver many, many times and our wedding was absolutely fabulous thanks to her expertise, hard work, and care. I initially reached out to Amy for her Aerobar service for my wedding reception. Once I spoke with her and found out she also planned and coordinated weddings, I knew it would be a great match. She coordinated our wedding, all of our beautiful florals, we had her and her team for our cocktail hour and reception with the Aerobar for specialty and full bar service. It's hard to convey how thankful we are to have had Amy at Boho Belle Weddings be our wedding planner/coordinator. Amy started working and helping plan my daughter's wedding about eight months in advance of the wedding. After consulting with us, Amy took over and she and her team moved the entire ceremony to another area of the venue which was not soaked and moved the reception inside. If you are getting married on the Queen Mary you NEED Amy and Dan. Amy is a life saver. I had some drama happen with a very unprofessional DJ company one week before the wedding, and Amy helped schedule a new DJ, and make the whole situation less stressful. Not to mention, all while on her own honeymoon and when she had a stomach flu. She thought of things that I never would have, created a smooth timeline for day of, and was in contact with all of my vendors. Day of, she was there to help all of my vendors unload and set up, and was in constant contact with my maid of honor. Dan was there to meet us from our ceremony to take pictures on the ship. He showed us all the good spots, and helped my groomsman who had too much to drink.
