Great food and drinks! Everything I've had here was well made and tasty. Loved the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff!

What a fabulous dinner at Bohemian Biergarten! Unbelievably comfortable in a Czech Gastropub European setting, the woodwork, antiques, tables, chandeliers, artwork... the whole restaurant is modeled after the ambiance experienced by owner Zdenek Srom during his earlier years in the Czech Republic. Sharing the dream is his wife Angelie and the time we had last night, from the delicious appetizers to the entrees including the European Beers, makes this restaurant the place to be when you want European especially Czech food. I wish that I had room for dessert as the Apple Strudel looked spectacular. Very highly recommended!

The Honey Bite - damn tasty and way too easy not to have more than one.

Best beer in Boulder, especially the hard to find German and Czech styles on tap. Want incredible sausages and schnitzel? This is your place to over indulge, just remember to wipe the mustard off your face before leaving! Nuf said!

We found this little gem a few weeks back and love it. Delicious beers and jager schnitzel. We also loved the pierogies. The decor takes you to a traditional Eastern European Biergarten and feels like a warm hug and the staff are all super friendly. When you're in Boulder give them a try - just off of Pearl Street.

This place is so cool! If you're a beer or German food fan you must check it out. The restaurant is decorated on another level. Very cool old reclaimed beams and old stuff on the walls. The staff is all very friendly and speedy. The food was great. I tried the gnocchi and Schnitzel with Käsespätzle. Both were delicious. I will definitely be back to try the Sauerbraten which looks amazing.

As I was traveling across the country, I ended up staying near Boulder and I wanted some dinner that might excite, comfort, and nourish me in a cozy space. I'm a big fan of Austrian and Bavarian cuisine, so when I found this place and all of its charming interior photos, I decided I absolutely had to come here for a meal and a beer. I was solo as usual, so I sat at a pub table off to the side, however I did not find it very comfortable because as a Shorty, my legs were dangling, also it was right in a very busy walkway for servers and I wasn't about that vibe after a long day of travel. So I requested to be receded and I was able to sit at a communal cable, which is what most of the seating is like there, and that between a few other parties. I actually found this to be quick cozy. I was amongst people but I could still keep to myself if I wanted to. I ordered one of my favorite meals, Yeager schnitzel, otherwise known as schnitzel with mushroom sauce, choosing my sides voraciously, with must-have mashed potatoes as well as something new, pickled red cabbage, and another add-on of the beets. Let me tell you this was one of the most near perfect meals I have ever eaten. Add on a tall glass of beer and dessert and honestly I was in heaven and really glad I chose to stay an extra night in Colorado. I ordered the apple strudel for dessert, and while not the traditional preparation, I'm actually going to go ahead and say this version was not only an improved arrangement, but more decadent and culinarily orgasmic than I could have anticipated. The crumble and the crust were perfectly crispy but the rest of the pastry was tender and the baked apples were plump and juicy. The balance of tartness, subtle sweetness, cinnamon spice, and homemade whipped cream was just heavenly. I was unable to finish it and decided this would make the perfect reheated breakfast in the morning at my lodging. Sadly I didn't leave myself enough of it for the next morning, but next time I know I'll order a second piece. I couldn't be mad at myself for trying to finish it the night before! Service was friendly, informative, and reliably attentive. The ambience was a friendly, dimly lit beer hall with an old world celebratory vibe, and I couldn't have been more in my element. Too bad I don't live here just to come to this establishment on the regular because I definitely would.

Love the rustic interior. Friendly, fast service. Excellent location - close to Pearl Street. Inside/outside seating. Delicious menu items - everyone loved their selection. Street parking or garage parking not too far away.

Came in for some light bites by ordering the Giant pretzel with beer cheese and the Appel strudel. The pretzel is the best one I've ever had, you can tell that it is made fresh with soft pillowy dough and a hard exterior crust and lightly salted which is perfect in combination with the beer cheese. The apple strudel was also very delicious with layers of pastry, crisp Granny Smith slices and cinnamon walnuts for each bite. Hot chocolate was fun for the holidays and we loved the European Christmas character this place had for the holidays! Will be back again for a dinner at some point since the menu looked incredible!

Bohemian Biergarten is an Eastern European style gastropub in the heart of Boulder. They're a fusion of various countries like Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary, and the owners homeland of the Czech Republic. The old historic building the restaurant sits in is the ideal setting for a place like this. The vaulted ceilings, the original bricks, and the reclaimed wood and light fixtures date back over 100 years! Beer here, or better yet, bier here! They make a few of their own in the traditional style, as well as guests taps from local breweries. The Biergarten Pils, brewed by Upslope, is a fantastic start to your meal, as well as a great accompaniment to this type of cuisine. Jager Schnitzel ($24) // choice of chicken or pork, served with creamy mushroom sauce, red cabbage, and choice of gruyere cheese fries or spätzle. I went pork and cheese fries based on the servers recommendation. The schnitzel was good, albeit overcooked and slightly dry. The gruyere fries were luxurious, rich, and filling! Das Pretzel ($11) // traditional Bavarian soft pretzel served with haus made mustards (+ bier cheese $3). Now I'll be damned. This is probably the best pretzel I've ever had. We had a big group of 10 in tow, and I think we all unironically made eye contact with each other as we bit into this with a shared look of "holy shit, this is phenomenal." ORDER. THE. PRETZEL. Staff were friendly, just a little slow at times to get refills, silverware, etc. It was graduation weekend so they were fairly busy early on in the day, so I get it. Ultimately the beer and the pretzel were the standouts for me, I just wish the schnitzel was more of a knockout. Overall, a fun place for groups with a large menu of traditional Eastern European classics. Check 'em out!

Bohemian Biergarten is my favorite restaurant in boulder! The atmosphere is very authentic and I absolutely love the long wooden tables that can hold multiple people in the party! There are options inside and outside for the party to sit. The food is so great! My favorite is the pretzel with cheese but I do love the entire menu. The service is really good and you won't regret coming to this restaurant. It sits right near Pearl street!

Excellent genuine German beers and a tasty pretzel. Our server was great and since this was a snack stop, we'll be back for the jagerschnitzle! Love the old world casual vibe!

Our second visit this trip! I said we would and glad we came back! It was a cold snowy day (Easter Weekend and snowing!!!) And the cold beers were wonderful. I ordered the Goulash, it was so good. I usually don't care for German dumplings, often too gluteny/rubbery, but the one inside the goulash was so good! Consistency was more like a Matzah Ball. My son and husband had the Schnitzel (pork) and is was great the second time around especially their potato salad! We starter with the Pretzel as we had to.have their housemade mustards again! We lucked out on parking and from a spot on the street a short walk away. Considering it was a cold snowy day, this restaurant was very busy. Says a lot about the food and service here! We had excellent service and a great server. The bartender was also.helping to serve and bus (great team work).

The drinks were definitely expensive, but we were happy to pay for a quality experience at an upscale restaurant. We ordered multiple appetizers, had several drinks, sat at the bar for quite a while, and honestly about to leave thinking this was a place we would probably come back to. That changed the second the bill arrived. Buried into the check was a 7% "kitchen surcharge." In other words, the restaurant decided to pass along kitchen payroll costs directly onto the customer without being upfront about it. If you're not paying close attention, you could easily end up tipping on top of that surcharge as well, essentially paying an extra hidden fee without realizing it. At a restaurant positioning itself as upscale and classy, this came across as incredibly tacky and cheap. Pay your staff properly and price your menu accordingly instead of sneaking surprise fees onto the bill at the very end. That's not hospitality. That's the kind of nickel and diming people expect from budget airlines, not a supposedly high end dining experience. It completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice night. We were seriously considering coming back before this happened. Now we won't return.

Booked this for a monday evening for a business dinner. i really wanted to like this restaurant…read moreand there were several things that i did like, but the food was just OK from my perspective. Ambience - this isn't the best place for a business dinner. very quiet/romantic and i felt like our group was out of place there, but no one looked at us oddly. It felt more like we might have been interfering with their romantic vibe as we were talking business. The restaurant and staff present a very inviting atmosphere. Food, this is where i was disappointed. the Bread at the beginning was very good/ with salted butter. I ordered the salted radish appetizer and it honestly just felt like salted radishes on top of a puree that i didn't really care for. So would put this as a 5/10 in terms of rating. I got the rabbit, which was recommended as being the best entree option. i have never had rabbit previously and wanted to try it. I thought it was OK, but not very memorable. It did taste like dark meat chicken. however the chick peas they were served with were underdone (crunchy in texture) and simply not that good. Our dessert, blueberry Tres Leches, was the best of the 3. My dining companions had a variety of things (striped bass, meatballs), but no one was raving about their food. Service was quite nice. would give this more like a 3.5 out of 5, as the atmosphere and service were good. Sadly won't be returning.

However, the kitchen fails to deliver quality or good tasting meals, despite the well-sourced food. The menu is prix fixe. 2 appetizers and an entree, or 1 appetizer, entree and dessert. The salmon tartare was salty, too salty. The kefta balls were over salted as well. The onion tarte shell was so hard it could barely be chipped away to eat. When we mentioned this to our server, the response was we get more complaints about the tarte than any other appetizer. I was surprised to see that the appetizers were all served at the same time, so by the time, I ate the cold salmon, the warm kefta, besides being salty was also cool - might have been more appealing if warmer. The rabbit entree was dry, overcooked and tasteless. The accompanying garbanzo beans were undercooked, crunchy and too salty. The food highlight was the family style vegetables. Beets, onions, asparagus were alright; the sugar snap peas which still had strings were not as good. The dessert were disappointing as the rest of the meal. The macaron was brick hard, so hard, we had to ask for a fork and knife to chip hunks off of it. Tasteless. After we departed, my dinner companion said she wished we had sent the dessert back, it was so hard and inedible that we left most of it. Bramble & Hare has a few things going for it: Service was spot on, attentive, helpful and friendly. The wine list is very good. Ambience is pleasant and the dining room is quiet. I really wanted to like Bramble & Hare as the farm to table concept appeals, but with the poor food preparation, this is a tough restaurant to like.

It is a rare find in Colorado! Snarfburger had four guys working between the counter and the grill and they were busy on a Sunday. There were six seats inside and about six picnic tables outside. The menu is posted on the wall, offering customizable burgers, five speciality burgers (all double patties) like the Bacon Guac (with hot sauce), The Hatch (hot peppers), Hot Island (hot peppers and 1,000 island), Spicy A1 (hot peppers & A1), and Triple B (grilled onions, bacon, bbq, and the burger). They also offer veggie burgers and gluten free buns, hot dogs, a chicken sandwich, fried bologna, BLT, grilled cheese, and milk shakes. The French fries, onion rings and tater tots came out of the fryer hot, crispy and perfect. The Hatch was flavorful and beefy, wonderfully messy with a nice balance of different spice from the hot sauce, pepper jack, the hot peppers and the green chilies. The regular snarfburger with cheese was a single well-done patty. Note: add avocado or sauce and request a thick slice of tomato because without it, it was dry like a low-fat 90/10 beef and not 80/20. Service was fast and great. Malted strawberry milkshake was thick as a brick and great. Atmosphere was great. I think I saw them feed a guy who needed a meal and I appreciate what an asset they are to our community.

Bell's Two Hearted Ale ($8) & Pinot Grigio ($6) - Nice! We looked over the limited menu with selections you won't find in most places. We had a cup of tomato basil soup ($7), mac & cheese ($14) starter/shareable - English red cheddar, parmesan, cavatappi, crispy prosciutto, mushrooms-excellent & piping hot, & steak frites ($34) - grilled 8 oz Angus, rosemary and smoked blue cheese butter, house-cut shoestring fries - perfectly cooked, large portion. Dessert was a delicious cheese cake. If we lived nearby we would certainly try other menu items. The bar has a movie loop on the TV produced by the co-owner.
