It was so simple and straight the point. Lana kept us informed with the availabilities, dates, and times. We were given a precise day and time and Vashek made sure to arrive early. He repaired our roofing issue in a day and half! Just like that, our roof looks amazing once again; honestly, it looked like nothing was ever wrong. I was referred to Vashek by a friend who told me he did good work. I had already gotten an estimate by another contractor. The price was less than the other contractor and more importantly the other contractor made me feel like it was just another job and not really that important. Vashek was much more concerned about making sure my family was taken care of and had a roof. Much more of a family business vibe. Anyway, once i approved the job it went much faster than i expected. Bohemia Roofing used the Gacco product for the flat portion of my roof almost 5 years ago. Last week a very small amount of water was seeping through. These guys were subcontracted by Home Depot to complete our roofing job. The entire roof (including two layers of shingles and most of the decking) was removed and replaced over the course of three days. Unfortunately, due to a communication snafu with Home Depot, the incorrect tile color was installed so Bohemia came back out a couple of weeks later to install the correct color which took two days to complete. Both the original roof job and the re-install were done really well. The workers were very professional and courteous, kept me posted on the progress throughout, and did a pretty good job cleaning up after both projects. The roof was inspected after each install and both inspectors commented that we were lucky as Bohemia did a fantastic job. read more

Vashek re-did my roof last year and did a phenomenal job. Him and his wife are excellent communicators. They respond right away to inquiries. Even when I email them at night, they respond within an hour. The job was done very quickly. The noise level was so minimal that even my neighbors did not notice until after looking at my roof that I had my entire roof re-done! Vashek is very professional and courteous. They matched my old shingle color perfectly. The gutters were excellent also. He replaced the dry rot boards under my roof that was damaged by the leaking roof. He went out of his way to color match the roof paint which made the work seamless. They not only cleaned out the old roof debris, they were even nice enough to include some items I wanted to through away from my garage to the dumpster at no charge! We used Bohemia Roofing to replace our entire roof last month. We bought the house less than a year ago and the inspector told us the roof was in good shape. Boy were we fooled! After the storms we had this past winter I think we had more shingles on the ground than we did on the roof! We had multiple people come out to provide us with estimates but we decided to go with Vashek after his estimate provided the best product replacement. It wasn't the cheapest quote but I am very happy we didn't go cheap. Vashek made some repairs that he didn't originally quote us for and from start to finish was 2 days. I bought a house late last year and after dealing with a winter of roof leaks on the original, 20+ year old, three tab shingle roof I knew it was time for a new roof. After admiring my neighbor's new roof for several months, I finally contacted Bohemia roofing in April of 2013. Bohemia had completed that roof next door a few months earlier. The owner, Vashek, returned my call promptly and offered to come by to inspect the roof that Saturday in order to accommodate my work schedule. He showed up on time, inspected/measured the roof, walked me through samples/options and took the time to answer all my questions. Two days later I had a complete estimate from him. Between my busy work schedule, the relief of no more rain and researching roof colors, types, etc, it took me several months to make a final decision on the roof. During that time I emailed back and forth with Vashek and asked a host of questions (probably 10+ emails) regarding sample roofs for me to look at, pricing on various shingle types, attic ventilation options, etc. He (and his business partner Svetlana) were exceptionally responsive and professional via email, often responding within hours or less and never seemed to mind the multiple email questions. During this time I also met with a few other roofers, mainly to ensure that Bohemia's pricing was competitive. I was quite impressed with Bohemia's responsiveness and customer service relative to the other roofers. Bohemia completed the re-roof project this summer and the entire process went very smoothly from initial tear-off to completion. The project was quite complicated, in that it involved a long, steep driveway and a 30+ ft drop from the highest part of the roof. Vashek and his team worked through multiple, hot summer days and finished the roof within a week, on schedule. Bohemia even followed up afterward to see if I had any questions regarding finalizing the permit. Hopefully I won't be needing any roof work for a long time, but would certainly use Bohemia again.
