Herbal tea on arrival, one hour gentle massage from Don, a foot soak and a light lunch, manicure (his very first), pedicure (his feet never looked better) and facial from Melissa, Dad practically floated home. He loved every minute, was still floating 2 days later. As he wrote us: "It's luxurious, yes, but also therapeutic, a body healing. Medicare should include it." And I suspect he will be back. It lists $250 for a couples massage, so that is what the customer is expecting to pay. That is how it used to be. The owner then called and interrogated my husband about his experience instead of trying to reconcile it. Was overall a very uncomfortable experience that we were so disappointed by. We traveled 3 hours for this and 100% will not do again. We will still be returning to Morro Bay though just sans Spa By The Bay.
