My boyfriend and I had a couples massage at Morro Bay Massage with Isidro and Helena for his birthday last week and it was a great experience. They were both very professional, friendly, and easy to talk to, and they checked in throughout the massage to make sure everything felt right. My boyfriend works a blue collar job and carries a lot of tension from physical work, and Isidro was perfect for that. He's incredibly strong and did deep work with stretching and pressure that really helped loosen everything up. Helena worked on me and it was immediately obvious how experienced she is. She mentioned she has about 10 years of massage experience, and you can definitely feel that level of skill. She knew exactly where my tension was and made the massage both effective and relaxing. They also incorporated hot towels, hot stones, and oils which made the whole experience feel really therapeutic. We both left feeling so much better. They were AMAZING! My husband and I travel the world and have gotten many massages. I am very snobby when it comes to technique. I was coming to the coast for a work trip from Fresno. My husband decided to make a trip out of it and got us a hotel at Sea Venture. He also wanted to surprise me with a couples massage. Found Helena and Isidro on Yelp and saw their reviews. They came to our hotel fully equipped, did not miss a beat on supplies and bonus additions including warm towels, nice oils, and my favorite hot stones. 1000% will call them again. Last minute decision to get a massage after the Lighthouse century ride. Reviews were top notch and this place did not disappoint. Easy to book. Response time to my call was almost immediate. Grateful they could fit me in their busy schedule. Isidro was amazing! He seemed very knowledgeable in his practice. Pressure was perfect and he was able to loosen up the knots and tension that I usually get from exercise. I gor the 2 hour deep miscle full body massage with Crissy and it was so relaxing. Making an appointment was very easy and the business communicates with text. I was warmly welcomed and the massage itself was awesome. The bed is wider than a standard bed which I liked, because my arms stayed put on the table. The table is also heated which I like. The face cradle was also soft which helps during a long session. Crissy listened to the requests I had for areas to focus on and she was intuitive in finding the areas that were particularly tense and required additional attention. Wow, wow, wow. I used to work at a day spa and have had every type of massage you can imagine. Isidro's approach is a buffet of everything that's good in a massage--perfect pressure, open and easy communication, and a fantastic combination of Swedish, deep tissue, acupressure, craniosacral and lymphatic drainage. I was on his (SUPER COMFORTABLE) table for 90 minutes, and when he asked me at the end how it was, I said that it wasn't just a massage--it was an experience. Very good experience. We booked ninety minute Swedish massages and felt extremely rewarded! Emily was my masseuse and I can definitely say I felt like I was in the hands of a pro. The difference between someone who is just doing a job and someone who actually cares about the job they're doing can make all the difference.
