My wife and I went to Blessed Wellness the day before Thanksgiving and got a couples massage…read more Danielle and Alicia were there, ready and waiting for us and immediately put us at ease, welcoming us and asking about favorite smells, type of massage we were hoping for, what areas were sore and little things like how much pressure to apply, sensitivity to touch, things like that. They had a room with two beds set up so my wife and I could be together, and it was pure bliss. Because of my asthma I had trouble breathing lying on my stomach so Danielle got some Eucalyptus oil to put near my nose and it really opened up my lungs and soon I was breathing fine and really enjoying the massage. We got the hot stones added and it was wonderful! After our 90-minute massages, with aromatherapy, hot stones and good conversation (I'm a talker!), we were so happy. While we felt relaxed, we didn't feel tired. We felt rejuvenated. Like our energy levels had been replenished. Not to the point we wanted to run around, but like we had just finished the best night sleep ever. That's how we walked out. Replenished, rejuvenated, relaxed, and completely blessed by how we were treated and cared for. This will now be added to our traditional yearly visit to this area, though we wish we could move here and have massages from Blessed Wellness more often! Thank you, Danielle and Alicia!!

I wrote my head 2x! Rochelle opened up with asking my intention and it was to be present as during many massages my mind tends to wander to my to do list . Together we breathed deeply as Rochelle poured her own intention into my head .... And that was the beginning of deep deep relaxation that started in and on my head . Rochelle maintained the light to medium pressure I asked for during our hour and a half session and I remained present the entire time, so present I think I snoozed. She used a lotion on my feet and my legs that felt so good, always coming back to my head as this is what I shared I really enjoyed and it felt so good . If you are visiting Morro Bay or live here Rochelle should be on your go to list just like your favorite restaurant, coffee shop, or hike . Ahhhhhhhhhhhh such a great gift! I came home and slept all day. Rochelle is wonderful. Morro Bay is so fortunate to have such a talented and grounded masseuse. Make an appointment with Rochelle, you will walk out SO relaxed.

Once in the massage room, I had to climb up onto a table that didn't work to use the beemer lymphatic drainage blanket. IMHO Kristin doesn't know how to do lymphatic drainage massage. She used copious amounts of oil. Massage oil is not medically contraindicated, but it is typically avoided during lymphatic drainage massage because slippery skin prevents the precise stretching technique required to move lymph fluid in lymphatic drainage massage. She never moved any lymph towards lymphatic exit points and only worked massage on my cubital tunnel syndrome arm, with no lymph movement. She stopped 10 minutes early and spent 5 minutes doing a head massage, wasting my lymphatic drainage time. The new owner was informed and sided with the therapist. I would ask for her lymphatic drainage training certificates if I was the new owner. Kristin only takes cash so there's no recourse for a refund.

I am new to ashiatsu (a form of massage where the practitioner's feet are used to deliver firm, uniform pressure over large muscle groups), but Angela seems to be a master. The massage was seamless, and I was so happy by the end because I had reached a true state of relaxation and release. I recommend Angela to anyone with stress and serious muscle tightness. I could actually feel the knots in my back moving and loosening as she worked. She delivers deep pressure, but is attentive and happy to accommodate customers who want a lighter touch as well.

By the end of our session, I'm amazed at how different my body feels from when I walked in the door. I wish we could find someone like this where we live because we don't get to SLO that often.
