I chose a Swedish massage and Isidro did not disappoint! I swear, his hands have magic in them. It's been MONTHS since I've been able to completely turn my head to either side, the pain was just too intense. And my back was in pain on the daily for so long I'd forgotten what it felt like to be pain free. After my massage was over. I SWEAR I could turn my head to either side with ZERO pain and my back felt great. Afterwords, I got in my car and called my husband. My first words out of my mouth were, "you're speaking to a wife you've never met before." I honestly felt amazing, like a new pain free person. THANK YOU Isidro for taking the time to make sure you provided the very thing I needed most. I feel brand new. I'll definitely be seeing you again soon! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Infinity stars

Once in the massage room, I had to climb up onto a table that didn't work to use the beemer lymphatic drainage blanket. IMHO Kristin doesn't know how to do lymphatic drainage massage. She used copious amounts of oil. Massage oil is not medically contraindicated, but it is typically avoided during lymphatic drainage massage because slippery skin prevents the precise stretching technique required to move lymph fluid in lymphatic drainage massage. She never moved any lymph towards lymphatic exit points and only worked massage on my cubital tunnel syndrome arm, with no lymph movement. She stopped 10 minutes early and spent 5 minutes doing a head massage, wasting my lymphatic drainage time. The new owner was informed and sided with the therapist. I would ask for her lymphatic drainage training certificates if I was the new owner. Kristin only takes cash so there's no recourse for a refund.

Gentlemen, Treat Yourself!…read more Dad wanted a spa day for his birthday. We didn't want him to have to travel too far and we found this gem right where he lives. The web site has a Gentleman's Spa Day package. 5 star reviews and a phone call later, it was set up. Melissa thought of everything, it could not have been a more splendid experience. Herbal tea on arrival, one hour gentle massage from Don, a foot soak and a light lunch, manicure (his very first), pedicure (his feet never looked better) and facial from Melissa, Dad practically floated home. He loved every minute, was still floating 2 days later. As he wrote us: "It's luxurious, yes, but also therapeutic, a body healing. Medicare should include it." And I suspect he will be back. And we are so grateful.

I called Serenity By the Sea in Morro Bay and explained my issue and asked if they had samples available to at least last me for four days. The woman who I spoke to was so kind. What a beautiful act of kindness. You made my day. The moisturizer is so hydrating.

After the massage was over, I thought "well, that was okay" However, the next morning I noticed that the nagging pain in my left shoulder was gone! I had injured the shoulder in a fall during hiking 3 years ago and I have had recurring pain, which in the last year turned to constant pain at a level of 4-5. Not to mention reduced range of motion. I have been to an orthopedist twice and the only solution he offered was surgery. I am so happy with the results. I can now play guitar again with no pain. I consider this a minor miracle, or better yet, a testimony to her healing skills. I am so happy with the results. Will the pain return? Maybe, but it hasn't for a month now and I am optimistic. Thank you so much for your skilled, healing and therapeutic massage.

The cons are not a single muscle was ever even connected with as it was just a light caress to the skin that included about 15 minutes of just rubbing nails over me. Nowhere close to a deep tissue. There seemed to be no technique or attempt to even at least manipulate the body for a stretch. It ended 15 minutes early which was less a problem bc I was such a joke. We both laughed after knowing it was not a massage. Bummer it was such a waste of money.

Heather was helpful in taking info to verify my claim for them to bill but then she never called me back (it's been a couple weeks now) so I gave up and went to Dr. Becker who I am very happy with. I have been to many chiropractors, I imagine the doctor himself could be very talented but these over-staffed types of offices tend to run a lot of patients through. If you have insurance paying then you probably don't care about the cost. If you are out-of-pocket like me then you might want to find a smaller office that can give more individual attention. Again, the doc might be great but with the lack of callback, I wasn't happy with the customer service. Another employee there got snippy with me when I simply tried to leave my insurance person a voicemail about the billing, I called from inside the office when there were no other patients there and was ordered out of the office. I was not speaking any louder than their staff when they are on the phone.

My back had been my weakest link physically and I figured stiffness and chronic pain was the payback for all that running along with all those years. Shawn came highly recommended and I initially went to him knowing I had much to gain if he could help and only a few dollars to loose if he couldn't. Working with Shawn has been an extremely positive experience both physically and spiritually. I've recovered flexibility I've not seen since college, my core is stronger, I no longer have ANY back pain, I feel healthier and I'm back to running pain free.  Just being pain free has made my visits well worthwhile.   The improvements in my running are icing on the cake. Sessions with Shawn are great.  Initially he focused on relieving my back issues and now he focuses on getting me more efficient in my running while maintaining a healthy and sound body.  Throughout it all Shawn has given me exercises to do at home and has, in a sense, become my coach and also my friend. I think having been a professional athlete has helped Shawn to become a master of his craft.  He's an extremely knowledgeable body/mind therapist but what I find most important is that Shawn listens and truly cares. I recently ran a very challenging 50k up and down the Mogollon Rim and won my age group.  I probably wouldn't have made the starting line without Shawn's help. I very highly recommend Shawn.
