Great Workout, Helpful Trainer (But Please, No More Pitbull!) Tried out a class today and had the pleasure of training with Kyle. He's a solid trainer--knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to form. As a first-timer, I really appreciated his guidance on maintaining the right heart rate zone (above 91%) to maximize the workout. That tip alone made a big difference! Kyle was especially helpful with core exercises, ensuring I engaged my abs properly. He also gave great tips on tricep workouts and proper glute stretches, which really helped me avoid post-workout tightness. The rotating stations kept things dynamic, and I definitely felt the burn in my core and legs--just the kind of workout I was hoping for. The ambience was energetic, and the music kept things moving... except for Pitbull. I have no idea why he was on the playlist, but I wouldn't mind never hearing him in a workout class again! That aside, the experience was great, and I'll definitely be back. the workout was solid, and I left feeling accomplished. Looking forward to my next session!

Unfortunately, F45 Sunnyvale feels like a major outlier -- and not in a good way. I'm genuinely surprised this studio is still operating under the F45 name, because the experience here doesn't reflect the same standards I've come to expect. Trainers at this location don't demonstrate exercises live, they just mirror the video playlist from an iPad onto the TV screen and leave it at that. One coach in particular gave off the impression of being completely new to the F45 environment -- they didn't look or carry themselves like a trainer at all, and there was no engagement or technique correction throughout the session. It made the class feel unstructured and even unsafe at times. The equipment and studio upkeep also leave a lot to be desired. The space feels gritty and worn down, lacking the clean, energized environment that most F45s provide. I couldn't help but compare it to F45 Branham Park or F45 Mountain View, which are both far superior in terms of coaching, energy, and maintenance -- and they're priced similarly. If you're thinking of trying F45, do yourself a favor and explore one of the other nearby studios. Sunnyvale's location simply doesn't deliver on the brand promise, and I walked away feeling like I wasted both my time and money.

I went through some personal health challenges and had to take a break from working out, but when I returned to consider fitness again I chose to go to BFT, it really helped me get back into a healthy routine. The coaches were incredibly supportive, they helped me refine my form and pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of at the time. Since consistently attending, I feel so much better physically and have become more proactive about my health. I highly recommend BFT to anyone looking to get back into fitness. The team here genuinely supports you and wants to see you succeed.

This is some of the most DISGUSTING behavior I've ever seen from a Head Coach at a fitness studio…read more I could overlook inconsistency in coaching or gaps in knowledge (I was repeatedly told things by coaches that were objectively incorrect, and several coaches didn't seem to fully understand the flow of their own classes). But what I cannot overlook is behavior rooted in humiliation and disrespect and discovering that the Head Coach apparently thinks being "FEMALE" is some kind of insult. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in an environment that claims to promote self-improvement and confidence. This is exactly the kind of culture that discourages people from showing up, trying something new, and bettering themselves. I will no longer support businesses that market themselves around empowerment while allowing people to be publicly torn down to protect someone else's ego. I requested a refund and also reached out to the franchise owners, Emily and Ryan, for an explanation regarding this behavior. Unfortunately, it appears that questions and concerns from members are being ignored. Some members have also been removed/blocked on Instagram. They are very nice people personally, which makes this even more disappointing, because at this point, allowing and protecting the behavior sends a message of its own. That tells me everything I need to know about the values this franchise is willing to stand behind, and that's deeply unfortunate.

I've actually tried kickboxing before and didn't love it, so I was a little hesitant to give it another chance. I was also intimidated coming in because upper-body work and kicking are definitely not my strengths. RIP my noodle arms.... I think Sumit really made the experience for me. From the start, he was enthusiastic, kind, encouraging, and completely nonjudgmental. I definitely felt awkward throwing my baby punches, but he was incredibly patient and reminded me to take it easy and focus on learning the movements. I never felt pressured or embarrassed about being a beginner. The workout itself is only 30 minutes, but it's a good workout and goes by quickly! There are 9 stations, with a rotation every 3 minutes, so you're constantly moving and doing something different. The gym is open 24 hours and you can come whenever works for you since the exercises are guided on screens at each station. It makes it really easy to fit in a workout without having to plan around a specific class time. I ended up signing up for additional sessions afterward, which included complimentary wraps and gloves- and I love the lavender color I chose! :) I'm looking forward to challenging myself, getting stronger, and adding something new to my usual workouts. If you're new to kickboxing or feeling intimidated about trying it, I highly recommend coming in and training with Sumit!

I only visited once, so I normally would not leave a gym review based on a single visit. However,…read moresomething about this place felt off enough that I think it is worth mentioning. This is, for the most part, an unstaffed gym. I genuinely do not understand the business model/ value proposition. This is a 24-hour facility for members, but the space is extremely small, about the size of a one-bedroom apartment. There is only one bathroom, no shower, and no changing room, yet the membership costs over $200 per month. The workout itself is self-guided kickboxing, with about 8 to 9 stations and monitors telling you what to do. You work out on your own, so it could be just you in the entire gym, or you may end up sharing the space with another member(s) and rotating through the stations together. From what I understood, staff are NOT on site for most of those 24 hours (cost reduction). Trainers are only present during very limited windows, and if you happen to come during those times, they may help with your form. What does not seem well thought out is the overall setup: a 24-hour facility with no staff and no security on site for most of the time. *** I do not think they thought through the safety aspect of this setup. I would definitely not feel comfortable or safe using this facility during unstaffed hours. Unstaffed gyms raise several safety concerns: unauthorized access/tailgating, personal safety risks including harassment or assault, and the lack of immediate response in a medical emergency. At that price, I would expect not only better amenities and greater exercise variety, but also a much stronger sense of safety, supervision, and overall value. This basically feels like a small apartment gym with a few specialized kickboxing stations and no security on site for over $200/month.

Before this I was spending exactly the same amount of time doomscrolling on my phone per night. The staff are all absolute sweethearts, theyre always working and cleaning. The bathrooms are gross in ANY gym, it can get gnarly here but I've never had to do the big one here. You just need to accept that. Everybody says hi, the entire PF stigma around big lifting is completely unfounded for this location. I go 2-3 wheels on the big lifts and nobody cares, no stares, didn't set the alarm off. It makes noise when I rack it. Nobody has ever once spoke to me. I'm on week 7. It's only going to get bigger. The price is so cheap I've literally paid $26 to get a 3 plate deadlift which is the best ROI of any money I've spent. For the past 2 months I've belong to multiple gyms at the same time to feel them out. Not only do more expensive gyms have less equipment, that is maintained very poorly, or the entire place smells Indian as hell (absolute deal breaker 9000), but then you pay $60, it closes at ridiculous hours so youre dealing with a morning or after work stampede and I do not rushing or asking if someone is still using something because everybody has their own journey and they have a right to take their time and enjoy their privacy. So after my first two months of belonging to 4 gyms simultaneously for a trial week, PF is actually the winner (Anytime/24/Barbell/PF)

Not my style of gym because I need more space to stretch and do air karate, but it seems like a nice enough clean gym as long as you don't make a lot of noise while working out.
