The instructors here are amazingly encouraging and attentive. Pro-tip: grab a Consent Card at the start of class! If you opt-in for hands-on adjustments, the instructors provide fantastic, personalized form corrections that truly elevate the workout. The facility itself is pretty clean and well-maintained. You can tell the staff takes huge pride in keeping the studio floor spotless, which makes working out barefoot or in grip socks so much more pleasant. The studio amenities are also pretty thoughtful! They offer filtered ice-cold water, refreshing peppermint wipes, and ice-cold towels to cool down post-workout. The restrooms are stocked with hair ties, dry shampoo, and refresh sprays to make freshening up after class a breeze. Plus, the front desk staff is always warm and welcoming, and I love that they host regular community days! If you have been thinking about giving them a try, I recommend it!

I recently completed physical therapy for my neck and back and I wanted to get back into doing pilates to work on my core more + continue stretching out my neck and back. I also felt like getting a membership here was cheaper than what I was paying for PT so I feel it's so worth. They had a deal for unlimited classes (31 classes) for $149 I believe, and it's such an amazing offer, especially if you're going to be consistent with going and making use of your credits. The instructors are so lovely and I haven't encountered any issues with anyone there. Stacey and Annie are my favorite instructors. They care so much about your form and your comfort, which I appreciate so so much. I haven't been there long enough yet to experience the other instructors more than once yet, but the experiences I've had have all been wonderful and positive! I I used to go to Club Pilates and nothing can beat the quality of classes that I've gotten at Pilates V!

Some poses were challenging, but she does a great job coaching and keeping the energy up. Then I tried the V2 Reformer + TRX class with Michele--the equipment and Michele really worked us out. We focused a lot on arms, legs, and core, and I definitely felt like I got a solid workout. Both instructors were super nice, and I like the open, airy space in the studio. Everything is super clean and well-organized. Each station is fully stocked. The instructor lets you know what items you'll need for class but they also have a wall chart that shows what equipment will be used for the class. They have cubbies for your stuff, and don't forget to bring grip socks! Also, I found parking right in front of the studio--super convenient. Looking forward to my next class!

I'd heard of Lagree but never really knew what it was, and didn't even know this was Lagree going into it, but it's basically a more intense form of pilates that uses a megaformer vs the traditional one. I'm glad I had a base of already working out and trying two other similar classes before coming here, so it was a little less intimidating. I think a beginner could definitely get the hang of this, but having a good foundation felt necessary to get the full benefits of the class and workout. And of course instructor direction and examples were a big factor in succeeding in the classes as a newcomer. I've had a handful of different instructors and have definitely found the one that is more my style and more motivating to me (shout out Ankitha), but I've generally liked all of the instructors enough to go back to their classes. Finding an instructor that works for you makes all the difference though when you're powering through a touch class, which these often are. I originally signed up for their first timers offer of 4 classes for $99. Other than that, without a membership classes run at $38 per, but they have a ton of different packages and memberships that could make classes range from $11 (if you went every single day) to $30 with a larger upfront cost. I ended up getting a class pack so that I wasn't limited or expected to attend a certain number of classes a month and have really liked the flexability. They have tons of classes throughout the day and week, so finding an opening isn't too hard.

I had already taken a variety of other Lagree classes before but I definitely needed a refresher on how to use the reformer. Olivia was thorough and listened to the needs of others who needed accommodations/modifications. She was also super motivated and challenged our class with her workout set. I came out the studio with my whole body quivering! The studio is very bright and allows for so much sunlight which I love. However, there seemed to be a little bit of a light funk of body odor that lingers throughout the place. I hope they find a way to circulate fresh air around the studio to make it a better visit next time!

I saw multiple people look confused as to where to place things back. I asked if there were wipes so I could wipe down my station and was told that the entire studio was disinfected including every single weight, and all towels were washed. I was doubtful since some of the classes on the class schedule were back to back. So basically they're tone policing me and telling me I looked dissatisfied, and then REPORTED me over that. ****I would personally not recommend going to a studio where they ban people for asking questions and being cautious.**** I went to one class and they banned me for asking for help, which is wild. I came early with my coworker and was excited to work out with her. During the class I moved through all the movements and asked for a modification during a lunge. I also asked for help when I wasn't feeling a stretch at the end of class. The instructor simply said "well I guess you just won't feel it then" and walked away. Other than that, I did not interact with the instructor. 2 days later I received an email saying I was banned because of my "behavior toward the instructor." I think this decision was more about the instructor's ego than anything else. I definitely don't recommend coming here unless you are someone with no fitness background and would rather be in silent pain than ask for help. And don't even bother if you have any sort of problems at all! Knee injury? Back pain? "Guess you just won't feel it then." I also want to share that I had an alternative experience at a local yoga studio where I was tentative about things and despite that, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and invited me back. Even though it wasn't my cup of tea, I gave it a fair shot and have nothing but great things to say about the studio and team there and reviewed it accordingly. It really doesn't have to end this way, but some businesses are just really feedback-averse and that's disappointing to see.

The small studio creates an intimate, personal vibe for each individual while still fostering a strong sense of belonging. The instructor, who is also the owner, Selam, walked around the room and gently adjusted our posture and positioning throughout the class, which made the experience feel very intentional, attentive, and supportive. Pure Barre focuses on targeting the smallest muscle groups, the ones you normally cannot reach or do not even realize exist. You only discover them the next day when everything is sore. I was sweating, my body was shaking while holding some of the positions, and I could feel muscles working that I did not know I had. That is what a great workout does, and that is how you know the hour was truly well spent. What sets Pure Barre Sunnyvale apart from other gyms is its unique, family-like vibe, something you do not find everywhere. From the cleanliness, cozy lighting, and thoughtfully provided equipment to the beautiful souls in the local community, everyone comes together regardless of fitness level to work toward the same goal. With about ten people in each session, you have enough personal space while still feeling a sense of belonging, acceptance, safety, and support. It truly feels like a community that is growing and thriving together, and that is the right environment for people to excel in both their fitness and personal goals. So if you have not tried Pure Barre, want to change up your exercise routine, challenge yourself with new movements, shift your workout vibe, be part of a beautiful and positive community, are just starting your fitness journey and do not know where to begin, or are simply curious and want to discover muscle groups you did not know you had, Pure Barre Sunnyvale is the answer. Give it a try, and you will come back to thank me later.

The class was packed mat edge to edge. The red lights and mirrors really highlight cellulite so you really come to love yourself by the end. This is the kind of class where the teacher adds some oomf in addition to the typical cues for moves. There was some mild trauma dumping which led into some life lessons and inspirational quotes.
