This studio is a friendly, close-knit community with great instructors and classes. I've been a handful of times as a guest and have tried TRX, yoga, dance fusion and boot camp classes. It has a great aesthetic, is well maintained and equipped and has lockers available. They do fun community classes like yoga and mimosas and offered free classes for Welcome Week and throughout the year. It will definitely be a studio I will consider joining in the future. read more

Flexfusion is great! The studio is clean and the ladies here are so sweet! I've been taking the kickboxing class with Jenny and she's really amazing. It's all cardio and it's exactly what I needed! You can book everything online so it's very convenient and they have different packages so it'll fit your schedule. There is a parking lot in the back and I haven't had any trouble finding a spot on a weeknight class. I've been coming to Flex Fusion since May for personal training. I've been canceled on 5 times with either no notice or less than 30 minutes notice. Even though I've been set up as a recurring appointment at the same time once a week since I signed up. Helen doesn't even give you the full 45 minutes for personal training when she does show up. She was late on multiple occasions, and when she is on time she's still busy with another client and doesn't start your session on time. So you will not get the full 45 minute workout that you have already been charged for. I understand she's a busy mom. I have 5 children and I commute an hour and a half to work in Campbell. If I can make time for a personal training session that I have to wake up 2 hours early for, while working 2 jobs, and taking care of my family. She can do better with her business. When I'm scheduled with Chelsea it's a much better experience. You get the full 45 minutes and she's very professional and a great trainer. However when she isn't available you get Helen and you will probably be canceled on or at a minimum not get your full workout. I highly recommend Chelsea, but not Helen and really not Flex Fusion. At $100 a session I shouldn't be experiencing such unprofessionalism. read more

I love FlexFusion! I had personal training here with Helen and Monique for several months, and was beyond pleased with the results. Both trainers are super down to earth, honest and work with you to attain your needs and goals. If you have any challenges with injuries or issues in your shoulders, hips, legs, etc., they will make sure to customize your workout to address these concerns, without adding strain or stress. My other favorite thing is they don't push you to GO GO GO (unless you request that LOL). If you are slow to train (like I am), you can take your time and go at your own pace, however you are comfortable. No pressure, no judgement. I have only gone to one yoga class there, and it was also fantastic - again, go at your pace. I super appreciate this about Helen. Unfortunately I had to stop going due to health issues and an unpredictable schedule, but I will definitely be back once things settle down on my end. read more

WOW I love this studio so much! The classes are all so fun (and challenging in all the right ways!) and the instructors are really knowledgeable and supportive. The classes are small, so you can feel connected to the other members, and the instructors always make you feel seen and paid attention to. I normally HATE exercise and have always found it to be a major event to get myself motivated to work out, but since I joined this studio, I go to 4-5 classes per week and am loving it. I attempted calling several times, left several voicemails with my number to call back, and emailed them throughout the past 2-3 months and have yet to hear a single thing back. When you have a baby, let me tell you the abs just become non-existent.. After my 6 week postpartum visit with my Dr, I got the clear to workout again. I have not worked out in months and wanted to really get my core back, my husbands fitness instructor at the Moffett Towers gym told us about Flex Fusion so I decided to give it a go! My surprise, the Barre classes have been really enjoyable. The instructors make the class obviously and every single one of them are friendly and supportive. I've had the pleasure of working with Niki, Casey, Dustin, TJ, Stephanie and Jenn K! I had anxiety about getting back into the gym as it can be boring and paying for a personal trainer can get pricey, so Flex Fusion was a great option. Not only are the classes nicely sized, I feel like I have been getting personally trained for a fraction of the cost! They make you feel welcomed and the class participants are all friendly as well. I have only taken the Barre Burn and Iso Barre classes its been almost two months and I have seen such a huge improvement in my abs! The teachers are so good at knowing how to help improve/strengthen your form and personally taking the time to help me build my core. Flex Fusion is everything I wanted and didn't know I needed in a fitness studio-- the instructors remember your name and make genuine connections. Hey Niki *clap,clap,clap,clap* Hey Niki! Nicole Riga, otherwise known as Niki is the fitness instructor with the mostest! She's so good, that this is my second review to praise her talented self. However, the first review as an OWNER of her new fitness studio, Flex Fusion! I am a barre connoisseur, and have taken classes all over the Bay Area. Studios very in method and technique, as do instructors. That being said, Niki is by far one of the best. Likely my favorite of all time. She has experience, knowledge, and is motivating to boot! You are sure to have a great workout when you are in her class, and feel muscles you never really knew were there. Call it a good pain if you will. Now, I used to take Niki's barre classes on a very regular basis, but had to take a hiatus as she was creating her own business, in addition to traveling back to her hometown of Alaska and also excelling at fishing for Alaskan salmon. She is truly a woman of many hats. Ask her about the latter part of her career sometime. It's quite interesting. Anywho, on to the goods. That's the reason why you are reading this anyway. After months of waiting, Flex Fusions doors opened for business, and I was fortunate enough to take an opening day class! Score! Double score because it was FREE! Can you believe that? FREE! ZILCH! NADA! If you are familiar with barre, you know that it includes the modalities of yoga, ballet, and Pilates (and if you didn't low, know you do), with several minutes of light barbell work. The class that I partook in was Barre Burn. Dang. That class really lives up to its name. My muscles were burning like no other! Along with the traditional work at the barre, Barre Burn offered abdominal work, an additional weight component, and included a cardio boost that is not offered in a traditional barre class. I left Flex with a little more pep in my step. Barre class just makes you feel good; body, mind, and soul. I cannot wait to return to Flex Fusion, and see Niki again, but am also looking forward to experiencing classes with other instructors. After all, Niki taught them, so they have to be good! Overall, Flex Fusion offers barre classes, yoga, and boot camp. A one stop shop for your fitness needs, and also has a retail section for your active wear fashion needs! I hate the gym. HATE IT. I have always hated working out and exercise, probably (definitely) due to residual gym class shaming. And yet, I go to Flex Fusion three to four times a week, and I'm about to hit my 100th class! The classes are FUN and challenging. There is no judgement - the membership is made up of all kinds of shapes, sizes, and abilities. The instructors are so encouraging, kind, and compassionate, I couldn't hate them if I tried (and I have tried, especially when doing burpees). Everyone there knows my name, and it helps me stay accountable - that, and the reasonable late cancellation fee. It's clean, welcoming, emotionally safe, and with all the variety of classes, there's no room for boredom. I don't have a lot of bandwidth in my life to focus on really healthy self care, but Flex has proven that I can set time and money aside to invest in this fleshy vehicle that needs to see me out for many more years. Because here I am feeling the fittest I've ever felt in my life, and loving every minute of it. So basically, Flex is a magical haven for exercise beginners and veterans alike, and you should check it out. read more

I have been coming to Flex Fusion Studios for about two years now, and I can't imagine working out anywhere else. I was an elliptical junkie before Flex, and spent a sad 30 minutes a day staring into space on that machine. I wasn't getting anywhere near my goals for having a healthy body, and the elliptical was boring. Then I found Flex. My friend and I wandered in off the street and were welcomed immediately by TJ, who is an absolute delight. I coyly fought signing up for a membership, thinking that one barre class a week was enough. LOL, good one. About a month in I became a full fledged member, and I haven't looked back. This studio is not a regular gym. It is a place where anyone can come work out, no matter their current fitness level. The instructors will give you everything you need, and after a little while, everyone will know your name. We have a word for our community at Flex: Flexfam. I have made friends at this place that I will keep forever. My friends here are at all different fitness levels, and it doesn't stop us from working out together and having a great time. After working out here for two years, I have yet to plateau. There is always a challenge, and my muscles are never bored. I've hit my fitness goals and set new ones. I am stronger than I have ever been. I highly recommend Flex Fusion Studios. New studio, awesome staff, great variety of classes, lots of free parking available! Niki and the team are fantastic! The team is incredibly welcoming and all the instructors are very helpful in the workout classes. They are very good about making hands-on adjustments and making you feel comfortable/have fun in class. I've never taken barre before attending Flex Fusion, and they helped me a lot. The team,and especially the owner genuinely cares about the clients and it definitely shows. Also for newcomers, they have lots of promotional deals to get you started! Biggest recommendation is offering more of the bootcamp classes and more classes around 4:30-6:30pm Monday-Thursday. If they could take advantage of both of their studio rooms during these hours, then I could probably be able to make it to more classes/attend the classes that I want. Right after work is a prime time so I'd recommend taking advantage of that :) read more

I love the variety of classes here. There's always a ton of choices in terms of which workout to do. I love that there are various difficulty levels of the workouts, like how there's a yoga class that's more activating like Pilates and there's another yoga class that's much more relaxing. Additionally, I like how there are different classes offered through out the day. It's great that I can go to a workout before work or afterwards. In terms of the classes themselves, the instructors usually demonstrate different ways that you can modify each exercise in case you have injuries or other restrictions. I like that the instructors aren't yelling in your face to push you too much beyond what you can do but they will use positive reinforcement to encourage you. The only thing is that I wish the studio had shower facilities but I live close enough so that I can just go home. read more

I'm so happy I came across a Groupon (while they were still available!) and gave Flex Fusion a try! Everyone is super nice and welcoming - I've been to other fitness/yoga studios where this is not always the case, or it is on your first visit and then pretty stale afterwards - not at Flex! Every time I take a class with a new instructor, they go out of their way to introduce themselves, learn my name, and ask about any injuries so they can be mindful of needed modifications. I've just gotten my membership and I'm super excited. I like the accountability that comes with having to sign up for the classes and the cancellation policy - you have to cancel at least 4 hours prior to class - this really gets my butt into the studio even on the days when my motivation is lacking. I've only taken about 10 classes so far, but I hope I can get myself in the 100 class club one day! So far, Barre Burn is my favorite - they'll kick you're butt in the best way! read more

Can't believe I haven't written a review sooner! I joined Flex in September to reinvent my workout routine and get in shape for my wedding. And am SO glad I did! Admittedly, my new addiction. I have always been fairly active and have held memberships at multiple yoga studios and a variety of fitness programs. ...All previous experiences have paled in comparison. Barre, bootcamp, and yoga in one place! The classes are challenging, yet amendable to all fitness levels. You'll work muscles you never know you had. (no joke - leg shaking is routinely celebrated) And their schedule is different every day, so whether you are an early-riser or getting a workout in after work, you can take a variety of classes. ...I've taken just about every one they offer and can't choose a favorite. In fact, I double-up as often as i can. And the instructors are great too! Each one does class a little differently, but all are challenging and attentive. They'll correct your form and push you to work harder. Love it! But what really makes Flex Fusion unique is its effort to build a community. You walk in the door and are greeted by a staff that not only knows you by name, but sweats beside you at the barre. Members are encouraged to meet their classmates, and every month there are 'challenges' to participate in and special events to attend. ...Gyms and other boutique fitness studios can be intimidating and competitive. I have been regularly going to Flex Fusion classes since June 2016. I mostly attend barre and bootcamp classes, and have enjoyed every class. The Workouts- I like how Flex Fusion has a nice repertoire of challenging workouts from which to choose (barre, bootcamp, circuit training, and yoga). Regularly rotating between these workouts has drastically improved my fitness level in balance, strength and endurance. Flex Fusion has totally whipped me into great shape. The Community- The instructors are very friendly and helpful. They don't just instruct and motivate, which they do an awesome job. They greet you, get to know you and your name, and ask if you have any injuries to ensure that you have a safe, but effective workout. The Flex team has made the studio feel like a community. The people in the classes are friendly and supportive. The Decor Flex Fusion Studios is very well put together. The combination of colors give it a nice, airy, relaxing feel. They have nice sound system to play the instructors's awesome mixes, helping you to push harder. The floors are excellent for the workouts. The Flex team is doing a great job of steadily adding equipment to increase the number of exercises at their disposal. I LOVE everything about this studio! It's brand spanking new you can smell it the moment you walk in. The space is bright and airy! It feels very welcoming as everyone is on a first name basis. I love how they have a variety of classes to choose from with times varying from super early in the morning to after dinner time. Ranging from yoga to bootcamp to barre they have a class for everyone! All classes are mixed levels unless stated otherwise. I've taken a number of classes here and all the teachers are phenomenal and experts in their craft. It's important to me to feel comfortable especially in a work out environment. I feel that every teacher here does that, making adjustments when necessary to keep my body safe. I don't know about you, but I often judge businesses by the cleanliness of their bathrooms. Flex Fusion has really nice bathrooms complete with skincare/haircare products for a girl/guy on the go! I mean seriously what studio has green tea detoxifying face wipes and dry shampoo? They also have a great retail section, so great in fact I have to stay away to stop myself from buying one of everything. They also have reasonable rates in terms of memberships. If you were iffy about giving this place a try, definitely do so! Right now they're offering a deal for one week unlimited for $19. Can't beat that. read more

I have been curious about barre for some time--how can a girl say no to the aesthetics of ballet mixed with aerobic exercise? Today was my first day in barre basics which was taught by Niki, the owner of the studio. One of the reviews below me said that the lot is small, which is true, but there is a pretty sizable underground lot too. It wasn't even half empty at 10:30 on a Sunday. You won't be able to see it directly from the street, but I promise it's there! I got there early and met TJ at the front desk, who's a total sweetheart! She helped me get the lay of the land and introduced me to other newbies in my class. Barre basics is a nonjudgmental area, so don't feel bad if you're out of shape or haven't exercised in a while or have no clue what you're doing. Chances are most people in the room don't know either at first, and that everyone learns as they go! I took the class about 12 hours ago and my upper arms--one of my target areas for this part of my fitness journey--are still sore. I was quivering like a leaf in the second half hour, but Niki ensured us that this was a medal of honor for barre people! So it felt awesome to know my struggle was evidence that it was working. I got a $99 unlimited pass for my first month. As a teacher, I also was happy to learn I got a 5% discount on this rate; students are eligible for this as well. Make sure you bring your ID! You can also do $29 for the first 10 days, but you basically pick one or the other of these. Niki told me that for a newcomer like me, barre can be done about four times a week if you're serious about it, but ideally yoga is done on the alternate days. If you do nothing on a day, your muscle endurance goes down and the resulting soreness after a barre day is even worse. So for the rest of this week I'm doing iso barre (the next step up from barre basics) and yoga on days I don't do barre. I'm not sure when I'll be ready for the barre burn (the advanced stage!), but I look forward to it. Other things: 1. The lockers are secure since the front desk "barre tender" watches them, and they can provide locks for you. 2. The bathrooms are clean and huge. The bathroom I was in even had Victoria's Secret perfume and makeup remover wipes, which was awesome. 3. Everyone who works at the studio is really kind and definitely walks the walk of being a welcoming community. There was a definite effort by all staff to use people's names, even people like me who had only been there for a few minutes. :) I'm really excited to keep going and I can't wait for my next class. I have been coming to flex almost since it opened. My good friend and I found it in Groupon and decided to give it a try. We were excited to find a clean studio with a variety of classes, good instructors and a great mission. When we met the owner Nikki, she stated she wanted to open flex so she could provide great workouts at a reasonable price with flexibility. We ended up loving the studio and bought a huge package (40 classes). I had to take a break for awhile, but had spoken to Nikki about carrying my classes over and she said it would be fine. When I came back 3-4 months ago things had changed. Most of the teachers I knew were gone. You couldn't really buy packages, instead had to buy classes monthly. My best friend had some issues in terms of being over charged, which she pointed out, as well as being told they would hold her classes while she recovered from an injury and then being told they would expire and she would have to use them in two weeks. I still wanted to love it. I felt like I had been a part of a community. That ended today when I signed up for class and called on my way to the studio as I was running 5 mins late (thanks kids). I spoke with a staff member, told them I would be there, and she said okay as long as it was within 5 mins. I ended getting there 6 mins late. The door was locked with a sign saying "it is 5 mins after and they won't be back for an hour". I knocked on the door but nothing. I left pretty upset and sure that I would not return read more

My one year anniversary at Flex is just around the corner and this rave review is long over do. When I first started at Flex I didn't really know what my goals were. I knew I wanted to be more active, but that I needed something to keep me accountable. Flex gave me an out from the traditional treadmill exercise routine that I had always forced myself to do, but could never be consistent with. Flex got me to try: Yoga, TRX, Barre, Dance, Boot Camp classes, (That is not all the classes offered by the way). It is truly a community here. These people have pushed me to try harder, and to not be afraid to fail. And believe me, there are a lot of fails going on... (still trying to nail crow). I have never liked exercise, started different things and never kept them up so I'm happy to say I've been to flex regularly for 5 months and its really made a difference. My favorite classes are Barre (there is also different type of yoga, bootcamps, circuit training and TRX starts on Saturday which all looks amazing and I need to start getting into but I do love Barre) the instructors are great, each one has their own style and no two classes are ever the same so there's no chance to get bored. Nikki the owner is very committed to making sure all her members are happy and she has really created a community or a flex fam as it's known there are parties and fun competitions to get everyone motivated and lots of classes to choose from so class sizes are perfect all the instructors know your name and help you each step of the way the playlists in classes are awesome too and the members are super nice. FLEX. IS. AMAZING. Let me just start by saying I was always the chubby slow kid growing up. Unfortunately that mentality followed me into adulthood and exercise became a struggle. I had tried for years to find somewhere that I felt comfortable exercising and before I found Flex I would have NEVER taken a group class because I figured everyone would be staring at my lack of coordination etc. After a friend recommended Flex/raved about it on facebook I gave it a try and haven't looked back since. Everyone is so welcoming and accepting of everyone else and where they are in their lives and the instructors, staff, and even other attendees are sensitive to needs you may have, limitations on certain areas of your body (through injuries or otherwise), etc. All bodies are welcome and accepted, I REPEAT: ALL BODIES ARE WELCOME! There is no shame in asking for modifications if something proves difficult or starts to hurt and the instructors are constantly offering encouragement and hands on help when it's needed. I truly feel they believe everyone who comes through their door is perfect just as they are, but since you made the effort to come in they're going to make sure you got what you came for and more! After years of feeling an overwhelming body shame, Flex gave me a place where I felt they were going to meet me where I was at: I made the effort to make it to the studio and they did the rest! This place is so welcoming! I was not a gym-goer and was admittedly nervous to try it out! I've been a member of Flex for almost two years now and it's been the best time! The owner Niki takes a personal interest in all the clients and the instructors really get to know you! The classes are killer and the staff knows their stuff.
