Went to get a quick iced coffee yesterday and had a wonderful experience!! The two employees were truly so helpful, kind, and seemed liked the genuinely loved their jobs. The girl working the register (with the cutest colorful rings) offered to let me try the nitro cold brew when I asked for an iced coffee since she said she preferred it more. I went with her suggestion and asked for a little soy milk to be added. A really tall gentlemen made my nitro drink and when I was stirring in sugar, he asked if I would like a little more soy milk to be added. I'm someone who likes their coffee to be "less coffee, more milk" so I really appreciated that he offered that to me! I've always had great experiences here but these two employees went above & beyond and needed to be given a shout out :) read more

I have not had a coffee that I didn't like here! The lavender latte is my go to! The food is great also. I always get the big bird sandwich and my husband gets the haymaker with sidekick sauce. I will say that I miss when they would put the jalapeños in the big bird automatically, but when I have asked to have them added to the sandwich it is never a problem. read more

I love that they offer more than one size which is great, the person that took my order (girl with glasses and a beanie) on the other hand was not the friendliest, not a smile or anything, just a death stare, and she kind of made me feel unwelcome and bit uncomfortable, I was sitting waiting for my coffee and she didn't even approach me to let me know my coffee was ready on the counter, I get that working at a coffee shop is stressful but if you don't like your job quit and find another one, it's that simple. read more

The best coffee in OC hands down. I like this particular location best because it's not very busy and there's more diversity within the staff, which makes me feel more welcomed. It's quite far from where I live but it's worth the trip. I recommend ice spiced mocha with oat milk and three espresso shots, nitro cold brew, and steamed Rose Latte with oat. Coffee taste better iced, but their steamed lattes changed the game. It's smooth and creamy and consistent at each location. I can tell the company train their staff very well. This is a good spot for your everyday drink, but today I tried an old fashioned cold brew for the first time and it blew me away. Used to be better... :( This was once my favorite spot to get coffee, but the drink quality and customer service have seriously gone downhill in the last couple years. I get that working during a pandemic isn't fun (I worked at a restaurant during most of the pandemic myself), but thats no reason to treat customers like garbage (especially at such a high price point). The baristas were so nice and patient and the drink (I got a spiced mocha) was probably the best cup of coffee I've drank. I came upon this place from an e-foodie deal! It was any drink for 50% off, and I have to make a stop at least once a week!! I always get a lavender latte (which is my favorite drink btw) and it was made perfectly. I'm very picky with my drinks but it was the best I have ever had. I usually drink it with whole milk, and it wasn't too sweet. My favorite part about this place is that when you order the drink "for here" it comes out in a tall glass mug that was frozen to keep your drink cold! That way they don't overload your drink with ice :) The only downside about this place is how great the environment is! Sounds crazy right? What I mean is, there's quiet noise with good music in the background, making it a perfect study place. On busy days it can fill up, but if you come in the early afternoon, you'll find plenty of space! read more

I am so glad to see Bodhi Leaf doing well and expanding to a second location just as good as their first. The coffee here is exceptional quality, such good flavor. My husband and I really enjoyed our mocha and caramel frappes here, not heavy and sugar laden like most other places, this was sweet and filling, but you could still taste the coffee, very enjoyable. We have been going to the Bodhi in Orange for awhile, I really like their iced cinnamon & iced almond lattes. My husband adores their cold brew and has a growler that he takes back at least once a month to get refilled so we can have delicious cold brew at home. We decided to check out the new location in Placentia this weekend. This store is significantly smaller than Orange, but still has the same comfy vibe. Our cashier, Shannon, was a total sweetheart and made the visit memorable. Our drinks were awesome as usual. The wait was kind of long cause they were very busy, but Shannon talked to us about all sorts of things and made the wait tolerable. I will definitely come to this location again when I am in the area. So happy to see Bodhi Leaf expanding! read more

I prefer this place over Starbucks any day. They have more sizes to choose from and a selection of teas that I really like. I also prefer their dirty chai lattes over Starbucks just because it's not as sweet. Also, their quiches are out of this world! It's a must try if you go here. They make really good peanut butter cookies as well. The baristas are super nice. Very clean shop. Nice aesthetic. You can even buy their growler and fill it with coffee. I love visiting coffee shops other than Starbucks. I stumbled across Bodhi after making a trip to the bank next door and man they did not disappoint! Once you open the door, a sweet cinnamon-y coffee scent hits you..that's the best way I can describe it. It didn't smell like your typical coffee shop. The baristas are all very friendly. I decided to try an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, recommended by one of the baristas, & now I always crave it. If only they would expand to other cities other than just the OC. read more

At all of those locations I've had excellent hot and iced lattes. I regularly buy their whole bean Costa Rica Pura Vida coffee and make pour over coffee at home. Love their coffee, favorite is the cinnamon latte, not something you find at most coffee places. Also big fan of the cold brew and kombucha on tap. The big, chunky tables & chairs look cool but are not very comfortable or practical for such a small place. Wish they had some more food options like healthy sandwiches or wraps. They have some muffins, scones, waffles and empanadas. But no real healthy options except packaged snacks like Tosi bars. Also, hours just changed so they close even earlier. read more

I love the flavors and varieties of their coffee and the service was great.I love studying here because they make the atmosphere pleasant, relaxing, chill, and it "keep you alert" in a way to help you study if you get bored lol. Also, I love the free water station. However, I have a few recommendations: - They could potentially add more chairs on the side of the building to provide more seating arrangements. -most of the customers here are people who study study so It would be great to arrange more charging outlets or stations. -The chairs could be a bit more comfy. We're from out of town visiting my Daughter and Son in law there was a total of 6 of us they recommended this coffee shop. It was not the morning rush. Only 3 other people in there. Coffee was great but the service from a barista was totally unprofessional. He told us that for such a big crowd we needed to call ahead. We let him know that 4 of us were from out of town. Then he proceeded to tell us " it's just a common courtesy." We thought what if 6 random people showed up. Does not make sense. The barista "Uh Daniel" will really bring down your business.. My best place to get my latte, flavorful coffee. I have been going to Placentia location since it's been opened. This is my second time being charged for 16 oz and given 12oz. When I asked the staff ( the new guy) that I was given 12oz instead of 16oz . He said both my lattes are in 16oz cups. I am looking at the cups that says 12oz . Omg ! I know the difference but didn't have the time to stand in line to talk to the cashier to clarify. The same guy gave me chai latte instead of regular latte ... that i ordered to go last week!!!!
