I really wanted to love this place, since Thai food is one of my favorites and this is quite close to my house! I've tried it 3 times so far and I'm not sure I will again. The main thing of note is that the service is just...not good. Do NOT go there hungry. Moreover, not only is it super slow, inconsistent, and not timed right, but the servers also always seem like you're bothering them. They've consistently had that IDGAF attitude. They also seem understaffed (i.e. same person playing host, server, runner). The food has run the gamut. The papaya salad and tom yom soup have been yummy; the crab fried rice was flavorless. One of the noodle dishes was tasty but *extremely* oily. I like that there's a lot of different protein choices for each dish (e.g., chicken, pork, mushroom, tofu, etc.). I also want to disclose I felt sick to my stomach after each meal, even with different entrees. While they label gluten free items on the menu, cross-contamination could be an issue. Very pathetic service on online delivery. I have been a frequent customer of bodhi corner and this was a first but very disturbing experience. I went to the website and place an order for delivery. Please don't use their website to place and order and ask delivery, Highly unreliable and neither doordash nor bodhi corner takes responsibility for your order if their is an issue at their end. Further they didn't felt badly for the food not arriving nor apologize but charged me for the order that never arrived. What happened was I order on bodhi corner's website for delivery @ 11. It was Supposed to be arriving in an hour at 12 (see attached). I called at 12.30 when they had yet to see the order and start making. They told me it will be 15mins. When I called back in at 1.30 the guy very rudely asked me to check up with doordash. Having called doordash numerous times at (855)-973-1040 and being on hold for 15 mins, I hung up and called back asking bodhi corner for help. And the guy was not only rude to ask me to figure it out or come it up after getting charged etc for delivery. Save your money. I ordered thru doordash. Not only did it take over two hours but the food was subpar for the most part. The only item I could say was absolutely great was the corn tofu soup. Highly recommend. The Massaman curry was thin with only shrimp and broccoli. No other veggies or potatoes. Menu lists the following for Massaman curry: potato, carrot, onion, peanut. The fried tofu was soft and watery inside, not firm so it had not been prepared properly before frying and the wrong firmness was used. The pumpkin custard was two gelatinous clumps. Oh yeah and the extra peanut sauce I ordered was $2 for a tiny container. The plastic kind they put ketchup or mayo in. I love Thai food but this was extremely disappointing. read more

I've been eating at Bodhi Corner since they opened, and not only enjoyed the food, i like their service. Everyone works together as a team and thats nice to see. You must understand when something is good, the demand for it will be high so please remember like fine wine anything good takes time. Thai food is not fast food its complex and cooked with care. And when you realize this, you'll be patient. To me the Bodhi Corner is one of the best if not the best Thai restaurant in Baltimore. Apparently, this place is owned by the same people that operate Khun Nine Thai which is average for me but i didnt want to go too far for lunch so picked up an order of pad thai with pork for $13. It was average lots of noodles and bean sprouts which at times overwhelmed the dish with its limited pork. I specified Thai Spicy extremely hot, but that thing didnt even hit my radar. Bodhi corner organized tables for our group (work) lunch for 10 people. The arrangement was great and the interior seemed nice. Yelp says they dont take reservations but I believe they made one for us, perhaps because it was not during peak hours. Our group was very pleasantly surprised with how tasty the food was. The appetizers, my drunken noodles and the green curry that I tried were all very flavorful. The staff seemed nice and attentive, too (it was, however, early in the day on a Tuesday so can't speak to this too much). So happy to have a tasty Thai place near campus! Good Thai food. Loved their spring rolls. Great flavor. My only complaint is the skimpy amount of vegetables in the curry. Got two tofu curries- one had three small pieces of broccoli and the other had three chunks of potato and two carrot slices. Recommend though- next time I will have to ask for extra veg. read more

We ordered the ba mee, som tum, and mieng pla. The food was delicious and even earned rave reviews from my Thai wife. When they finally approached, they asked us to move to a different spot because the table next to us had gotten up and they wanted to combine tables to sit a larger group- not a big deal- it's a small space, totally understandable BUT once we moved ourselves, the server didn't come back to take our order for another 10-15 minutes... so strange! Hallelujah. Great Thai food has found its way into the Baltimore city-limits. One thing Baltimore lacks in general is delicious Asian cuisine...Thai being one of them. When I saw Bodhi under construction I just couldn't wait to try. Got carry out last night and everything was a win. The Tom Kha soup with shrimp was out of this world. Red curry has a nice spice to it (I should have asked for Thai spicy to see if it would be any different and you should too). Pad Thai was great. All in all, I'm so excited that there's now a great and unpretentious spot right in Hampden to grab a bite in or carry out from. Drunken noodle and pad si ew are good, and I would recommend those dishes. They cook the noodles perfectly. However, other night I got the basil fried rice. It was extremely bland and mushy. Almost taste like the sauce was poured over and it was microwaved. So I would really recommend against getting any fried rice here. I would not recommend shrimp summer roll either. One of them only had one single shrimp in it (and they are pretty large rolls). read more

I'll start by saying the food is great, I have enjoyed the duck curry, panang and pad thai! However, the restaurant was not prepared for the holiday rush. I ordered take out on December 22 and when I came to pick it up after 30 minutes, I ended up having to wait an extra 30 minutes before it was ready. As I waited, several people came to get their food and no one's order was ready on time. Those eating in were also waiting a long time, I heard one table ask about their appetizer twice. The restaurant apologized but didn't offer anything to make up for the experience (such as a free app or dessert, or discount). The food is also pricey, and you don't get a huge portion for the price. When I finally got my take-out, it was leaky. I'll come again because it is the only Thai food in town, but I would come more often if the prices and wait were more reasonable. read more

I had to hold myself back from ordering it again, but the pineapple fried rice and orange chicken entrees held their own. And the Tom Yum soup releases its flavors perfectly with each spoonful. I've never been given my order in under an hour and never been told it will take more than 30 minutes. It's sort of ridiculous and sad that I can't rely on ordering from here. Dee-lish! I sometimes forget about this place but after I've eaten there I can't figure out why...there food has been very tasty each time I have gone there in the last couple of years. Hampden may be just one of my lessor traveled areas. Any case I had the Chicken Pad Thai and Summer rolls the other night and it did not disappoint! The green sauce that comes with the rolls is uniquely delicious and refreshing, kinda citrus. Most rolls only come with peanut sauce (they packed both). The service was fast and courteous. My only complaint is really with Grub Hub. They had my order status as not ready for another 20ish minutes, I called Bodhi and it was and had been ready...this happened with another order, for another establishment as well. Not a Bodhi problem but a Grub Hub problem but they may want to reach out and see what the disconnect is... read more
