A must visit when you're in Miami Beach! Very welcoming atmosphere, amazing meals like home cooked! We had the napolitana sandwich which was great! The bread was toasted just right! And the Napolitana plate definitely feeds two people - absolutely delicious, very fresh & amazing taste!! Our service is always top notch! We visit here every time we are in Miami on vacation for the true authentic Argentine flavors! Definitely wish we had one in Houston, Texas!

My go to Argentinian spot, this place doesn't disappoint. I've been coming here for years, I love the family atmosphere whenever I eat here. The owners come to your table and genuinely care for your opinion on the food. The food is great, everything tastes homemade from scratch. It's cliche, but I do really feel like I'm back home when I eat here. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

The hostess/waitress was extremely polite and made you feel at home. It was quiet for an afternoon, but a lot of foot traffic since the have what Miami calls a "ventanita". The beef empanadas were perfection, delicious! The Bodegón sandwich was simple, but delicious. The right amount of seasoning. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Argentinian cuisine.

While entering this local Argentinian restaurant, first thing I noticed is how Miami this place looks. I ordered the freshly squeezed lemonade and the steak sandwich. The lemonade was amazing, not too sweet and clearly fresh and refreshing. I wish I could say the same about the steak sandwich, the meat was bland and rubbery like I couldn't swallow because of how long it took me to chew. It was pretty disappointing for an Argentinian restaurant. The service is gratifying and the setting is definitely appealing for the location it's in. I'll try it again but next time I'm going to order something else.

Great authentic Argentinean spot! Nothing fancy, a casual spot to hang out and have some tasty food. They had great empanadas. The short rib was amazing, the beef was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The milanesa was great. The ensalada rusa was authentic and the service was great. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

There is a parking lot right on the side of the building, but if that lot is full, there is also street parking, and parking across the street in a lot behind the Citadel. The service here was great! All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. The set up of the lounge is also very cozy. There is plenty of space for people to sit whether you're on a date or with a small group, but seating is first come first serve, so if you're coming with a group it's better to get there earlier in the evening so you have a space comfortable enough for the size of your group. There is also indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are many wines to choose from and they also have a decent menu with light bites. We opted for the Dino nuggets and caviar which were a hit, the fried olives and some meats and cheeses with some cornishons, fig jam and a sliced baguette. I've been visiting a lot recently, and even joined their wine club which offers two curated wines a month. Locally owned and operated, I feel really good supporting a place that the owners put so much effort into to offer such a gem of a spot for locals. I've tried a lot of wines here, and I'm always amazed at finding something new to me that I enjoy. If you haven't been, it's the perfect place for a date, a girls night, or a day for yourself. They also have good snacks and charcuterie for you to munch on while you drink vino. Don't know much about wine? No problem. Their team will point you in the right direction and they have something for everyone. This is an approachable wine bar- they want you to enjoy the wine as much as they do and I love that about Magie. This spot has a nice indoor space and a beautiful outdoor area. They also have a sister location in the Grove.

I sat at the bar with my husband and heard the bartender, Phillip taking repeated orders of old fashioned and espresso martini. I saw a table polishing glasses and glasses of wines and then came the surprise - their selections! Their selections were smaller than expected but thoughtfully chosen. We asked Phillip for his recommendations, along the lines of red & bold. He gladly pointed us to a wine that was not on the menu. It seems they offer a menu selection and off-menu/rotating selection from unique wine regions. We had a red blend from China (yes that's correct, it surprised me equally). But then I realized, I haven't had wines from most of the regions they offer and the curiosity sets in. Looking forward to explore the menu and off-menu selection. We ordered: - a burger with fries - a buttermilk bibb lettuce salad - ice cream with chocolate sauce Rating these three: - The burger was absolutely outstanding, delicious, very well made, absolutely amazing. - The ice cream with chocolate sauce was also pretty good. - The bibb lettuce salad was not my favorite at all. It was overly-drenched with dressing. The flavor was a little bit off, and I actually couldn't finish the salad, which was a smallish portion to begin with. Overall, I would definitely love to try Silverlake Bistro based on the food I tried at La Poubelle. I've heard so many great things about it, so I'd definitely give it a try.

In fact, as my wife and I were walking in on our most recent visit, I was commenting that this would be a great place to bring out-of-town guests. Unfortunately, that opinion changed by the end of the evening. When the bill arrived, we learned that the corkage fee had increased from $25 to $35 without any notice. We politely explained that we were longtime customers who had always paid the longstanding $25 fee, but management was unwilling to make any accommodation or honor the previous rate. The increase itself did affect our perception. While $10 may not seem like a large amount, it represented a significant percentage jump for a neighborhood bistro, and it shifted the overall value equation for us in a noticeable way. What made it more frustrating is that a corkage fee increase feels different from a menu price adjustment. Rising food, labor, and operating costs can justify higher menu prices, but a corkage fee is simply a charge for opening and serving a bottle the customer brings in. Increasing it 40% without notice felt excessive, especially for a casual neighborhood restaurant rather than a high-end dining establishment. At $35, the corkage fee no longer feels aligned with the restaurant's positioning or value. Combined with the lack of transparency and the unwillingness to honor a long-standing rate for loyal customers, it meaningfully changed how we view the restaurant. The food was still very good, as it has been on previous visits. However, the overall experience left a sour taste. As a result, my wife and I won't be returning, and we will no longer recommend Silverlake Bistro to friends, family, or out-of-town visitors. That's a shame, because this was once one of the best reasonably priced neighborhood restaurants in the area. A relatively small change, handled differently, could have preserved our loyalty. Instead, it cost the restaurant two regular customers and future word-of-mouth recommendations.
