Place taste great as far as the food. Their attitude has to go. On their menu the burrito is about $10 and change. By the time they had a mini micro spot of guacamole it goes up to $14. They said they have the new pricing behind the cash register. I'm thinking WTH that's not fair barely got myself a taco burrito and Coke came out to maybe $25.00. Place is always delicious. I ordered from this place many times and gave it a five star review. My wife and I went for the last time after my doctors appointment and we ordered two burritos./El Pastor, and the meat was so dry, the meat was literally black in color. There was no cheese basically, and mind you, four days prior to that the meat was so fresh that when you picked up the burrito my hand was greasy AF. I will never, ever buy from this place again! I mean the meat was that dry to wear. It turns black I've never had any meat like that. I couldn't even eat the burrito. I just opened it and found out why it wasn't greasy like the other times. Like I said, we had just come out from my doctors appointment and we were really hungry. Seems to me that the meat that they gave me came from the day before, and it couldn't sell, so they chose us to make their money of $12.50 each burrito mind you. Been going there for years. The absolute best burritos. Fast prep. You can watch it being made. Friendly staff. Good food. Good price. And the kitchen is spotless. They wear gloves when preparing. My favorite was the lengua but it's no longer on the menu. The carnitas is excellent. Now if only they had menudo. read more

It is a little hole in the wall. I have been coming to this place for more than 10 years but this is the first time to write a review. It is located where Starbucks is, but it is located mainly on Arrow highway. You can park at the back of Boca Del Rio, or on the street. Their tacos are very humongous, specially if you order taco special with all toppings. It is really huge and it is for $3 .75 for th soft taco. Their burritos is so savory and tasty. You can eat it on two times,unless you have a good appetite. The service is fast. The owner is very friendly and attentive. For this time I ordered: Boca del Rio: I ordered taco special with all the toppings on -2 alpastor $7.50 -1 asada. $3.75 -2 pollo.  $7.50 -1 all meat burritos special $12 The price is very reasonable compared to the size and the quality.They accept credit and cash , whatever your preferred. I noticed Boca del Rio has been getting more attention on Instagram and I'm excited to see that! However, I notice a lot of these influencers seem to be skipping the cabbage in the burritos. I'm just making this update to say DO NOT SKIP ON THE CABBAGE!!! It might sound weird to put in a burrito, but they have it steamed just perfectly to give it some nice light crunch while still blending well with every bite of tortilla, meat, beans, and cheese! Seriously, the cabbage really elevates Boca del Rio above the competition. Plus, it's good for you! I have been going to this location for a while. Food has always been good. BUT I like my carnitas EXTRA crispy. He would always joke about charging more because he has to cook it longer which was fine with me. Well today I went again and got some excuse as to how he cant cook the meat to our liking because some long story how he got sued for "overcooking food" as requested by the customer. Extra charge for beef and pork due to meat shortage add $1.50 per burrito. Forgot what the surcharge was for tacos. There's a man that works there by the name of Chano, a master of his craft, truly one of a kind. This man knows how to stuff and roll a burrito like no other. We get everything to include green and red Chile. The only differences are I order carné asada and my wife has carnitas. My girls always split a quesadilla. Then when all evidence of food is gone, we wash it all down with horchata for me, jamaica for my wife. We have had Carne asada nachos and fries before which hit the spot, not a plate for solo eaters though and more than enough to share. Tacos are loaded to the point where they are more than a handful. I challenge you to eat more than two! Parking is tight, better to park on street if no availability. Until our next LA County visit, we will miss the food here. read more

There's a reason why there's always a line in front! In this area with so many Mexican food places it can get pretty overwhelming with how many choices there are. You can't really go wrong with Boca Del Rio. We tried out the Carne Asada Fries ($11). They use crinkle cut fries, and they pile on all the toppings on it. What's nice though is that you can taste every thing on the fries, without one thing being more overwhelming than another. It's an outdoor stand so there's just one line outside the counter, but it moves decently fast. You just order at the front, pay with the cashier in the next window over, and then wait on the side for your food. They also have a few tables outside where you can eat there. As we were waiting for our food, we watched everyone else's food being prepared as well, and every single thing we saw just looked so appetizing too! A combo burrito choice of meat, cabbage, cilantro and onions with cheese. Extras (which used to be included in a COMBO burrito) were: Beans- $2.27 (FOR BEANS) Sour cream - .91 (FOR A SPOONFUL) Guacamole - $1.14 (FOR A SPOONFUL) Combo burrito came out to almost $17.00 I know have gone up but that is TOO much for a little burrito at a little burrito stand. I love this place! I used to work at the grocey store across the street so I went there on my lunch break often. The meat is seasoned perfectly and the ingredients always taste fresh . I love the green cilantro lime salsa it gives the food this distict flavor that no one else has. I always get the all meat burrito special with green salsa inside. Its huge ! I always have some left over. Oh, and the staff is so courteous they always remember me and are always in a good mood for someone who works in a small box all day. Ahh yea Boca Del Rio, it's a staple in our list of Southern California tacos. I have been going since as long as I can remember. Turns out my girlfriends family are also fans of Boca. The dilemma for me is always whether I want the burrito or the tacos. What sticks out most to us is how loaded these tacos are with cheese! Today I ordered two carne asada and two Al pastor tacos special (avocado and sour cream) I will go ahead and say I liked the carne asada better but both were delicious. Good salsa is always a must for me with tacos and the red salsa is spicy and tasty, it definitely sealed the deal for me. I've been going the original Boca for over 20 years and this location for over 6 years and to keep it real the burrito I just got today was terrible. First, it was literally dropping with grease! Not a little but noticeably greasy out of the bag. I had to wrap it with napkins just to eat it. Passed that it was not very tasty with my hands full of grease.
