Awesome experience at this shop with the owner Mike, who initially helped me with transmission mounts as well as tire & brake/rotor replacements, but has since helped me with motor mounts and AC issues. It's a highly capable shop that has no qualms about handling my european car. Mike doesn't try to sell me things I don't need and he tells me how it is, which I appreciate as a girl, having had other shops in the past try to upsell me things, thinking I know nothing about my car! Boca Ató review I took my Jeep to Boca Auto Services to replace the steering damper and to fix the rear engine valve main gasket seal leak . The next day while I was traveling the highway, the Jeep started to shake like a kettle. I came off the highway and found out that the tire rod had become loose. I took the Jeep back to Boca Auto and I told them that my life was put at risk. The lady Ruth working at the front desk said; " Oh he probably forgot to put the nut back in the tire rod"!! What ?? How can I trust this mechanics anymore. The front end got damaged from driving with the loose tire rod. Boca Auto does not want to take any responsibility of what happened. HOW CAN YOU TRUST THE MECHANICS AT BOCA AUTO SERVICE IF THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE NUT BACK ON THE TIRE ROD? I noticed that on my driveway the oil leak was still there so I took my Jeep another mechanic and the mechanic showed me that the oil leak coming from the rear engine main seal gasket. I called Boca Auto Service to informed them what the mechanic had said, it send them pictures and the video showing that the leak was still there two weeks after Boca Auto tried to replace the rear main seal gasket. Ruth the lady again at the front desk was very rude and she said screaming at me " I DON'T BELIEVE YOU", and she hung up on me. I called the owner Colton and he saids come to the shop.. how can I trust this people anymore when their mechanics forgot to put the nut back on the tire rod putting my life at risk. Best Auto Repair Shop in Boca Raton! I've been going there for years. They are HONEST and reasonable! Definitely don't add unnecessary services or repairs! I brought my SUV to them when my A/C wasn't working, after having just spent $800 at another shop for A/C repair while I out of town. So, I brought my vehicle to Boca auto to have it checked out. Turns out that the Other mechanic had installed the fan Backwards and it was a simple matter of turning the fan around! Boca auto only charged me $25 to correct the problem! Highly recommend them! Ruth in the office always answers my calls and makes sure I get the best price and service. To the clown named (Glenn K) who recently wrote a review about his experience at Boca Auto. You obviously have some internal issues of your own. While we all can have a bad day and maybe not get the service we expect Ruth has been exceptional every time I've been there with all the stresses of running a business that she deals with including obviously disturbed customers.Ruth always sees to it that everyone is treated fairly and respectfully. If you have a problem with Ruth then quite honestly you have the problem. Any real man with an issue would not demean a woman the way (Glenn K) did! I understand that not every service business delivers the way we expect but to write a review like that just proves that the reviewer has some serious issues of his own. This was my second visit for our 2007 Toyota Sienna. Basic maintenance: -Oil -Oil filter -Air filter -Check fluids -Check power steering since it was making that sound when we start it up in the morning. They took us the same morning we called and had all work done by 2... AND we actually got the call when it was ready. How refreshing! Instead of trying to lie and tell us we needed a new power steering pump, we were told that older pumps take a little longer to build up pressure in the morning, until things get working properly. The purpose of the mask isn't just to protect yourself, it's also to protect your family, and your community. In this situation it's also to protect your customers. After bringing it to several car washes where no one would address the issue, I called Boca Auto Service, Mike, the awesome manager, told me to bring it in right away. I did and the crew took care of it immediately! After waiting for only about 20 minutes he Refused to take any money for the service. I don't know how this place has good reviews. My undercarriage fell off of my car and i went there to have it replaced. Within 10 days it fell off and was dragging on the ground. I called her and let her know that I didn't think they did a good job. She got so nasty . I told her that a friend of mine cut it off and it was installed with zip ties . This nasty lady did not even apologize, instead she said have a nice day and hung up on me. I also heard her talking nasty when I was at the shop waiting over an hour for an appointment that I made. Excellent customer service! We have a 2005 Acura TL that went to the dealership to get an oil change and we left with a "grocery list" of things they suggested needed to be done. My husband wanted a second opinion so we took it to Boca Auto Service (having lots of good reviews on Yelp helped). Ruth was wonderful to work with. Long story short, some of the items definitely needed to be done, but most was not necessary today. They made the fixes at a fraction of what the dealer was going to charge! One word, LIARS! I recently purchased a Living Social coupon to have my oil changed and tires rotated. I had heard positives things about Boca Auto from both neighbors, and online reviews. I wanted to give them a try anyways, as I am also in need of some major repairs, and finding a honest mechanic always seems like mission impossible, so why not have them do a oil change and tire rotation, to get a feel for how the shop operates, and to see if I would want to do further business with them. Thank goodness, the truth came out in just the first visit with the oil change and tire rotation. When picking up my car, I quickly noticed that my front two wheels are completed dirty, indicating to me that they did not do a correct tire rotation of swapping the the front tires, with the ones in the back corners. This point in time I walked back inside of the shop and asked, "What is your normal procedure in doing a tire rotation?" The answer I was given, "oh, we just swap the left with the right, we don't swap the front with the back, unless if you specified that." I basically walked out of the shop, disappointed, that was the biggest BS I have ever heard of. I have for over 20 years been personally doing tire rotations myself, as well, as had it done. This being the first time I have ever heard of such a thing. Meanwhile, I began to wonder if even they swapped the left with the right tires, well, I had a simple solution to that. My front left tire had a recent plug put into it, so I knew to check, however, the dusty parking lot left my tires difficult to tell right away. Once I got home, and all the dust removed from the tires, I could clearly see, that the plug was still on the front left tire. They lied. The tires were never rotated. It's a shame that people can look you in your eyes, and lie to you. I will just walk away from this knowing that they will never get anymore of my business, and that I would never recommend this place to anyone. Just stay away!! Ps. Thanks for the comment back. Made me laugh. If only you took that much time to rotate my tires instead of critiquing me, I wouldn't have anything bad to say. Lol read more
