I was first introduced to German Line Motorsports in 2022, after purchasing a B7 Alpina from a local sidewalk dealer who was unaware of a major problem that left me stranded at work one evening. Note, both the local dealer and I had the car inspected by "Certified BMW mechanics," because there were previous indications that something was wrong - I was instructed to purchase a battery but that was not the fix! All BMW mechanics are not created equal! German Line Motorsports sets the precedent and should be the benchmark for them all!! Firstly, Chad and his team demonstrated considerable flexibility by allowing me to have the car towed to the shop well after closing hours. When I arrived a while later, he welcomed me and did not hurry to rush me off so that he could go home. Instead, he took the time to converse with me and made me aware of what the next steps would be. I also appreciated Michelle's high level of professionalism with every follow up call. Chad discovered that the B7 had extensive damage which registered over 2000 codes. The local dealer agreed to take the vehicle back and have it fixed for his personal use - but that's a whole different story. As fate would have it, I bought a second BMW from the same dealer and ended up right back at German Line - this time with a shattered rear suspension and a few other problems - in the end my beloved vehicle was deemed totaled by the insurance company. Lesson learned: in the future I will employ Chad to pre-inspect a vehicle before I make a purchase. Here we are in 2025, Chad is still the same - humble, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. I will continue to sing German Line Motorsports' praises - only the BEST for the ultimate driving machine - their expertise, the team's proficiency and overall service standards are priceless!

Warning: Do Not Trust This Repair Shop!…read more Yesterday, our 2009 Toyota Camry would not start and several warning lights were on. We brought the car in for inspection and repair. The shop told us that the alternator and fan belt needed to be replaced. They also said the battery was still at 65% and was fine (just needed charging or not replaced). We agreed to replace only the alternator and fan belt for now, and they charged us $1,400. Today we picked up the car -- and the warning lights were STILL on. We immediately drove it back and asked them to check it again. This time, they told us another part needed to be replaced and it would cost another $1,400. We decided not to move forward with more repairs at this time. Then they told us the battery was dead and had to jump-start the car for us to drive away -- even though yesterday they said the battery was fine. This whole experience feels dishonest and unprofessional. We paid $1,400 and the original problem was not even fixed. Now they are asking for another $1,400 and suddenly the battery is "dead." This is unacceptable. I would not recommend this repair shop.
