Great experience getting my alternator replaced on black friday. They got it done in a few hours and the price was lower than what I expected it to be. They were very kind to me, and even gave me and my three kids a ride home while they worked on my van. Thanks you guys! read more

This place is wonderful, down to earth and, I cannot stress enough, HONEST. Not often do you find a gem like this. They are good, decent people. Ruth at the front desk is every bit as knowledgeable as any mechanic I've ever met. She's no nonsense, kind hearted, will always find the best deal for the parts you need and, more importantly, keeps you informed every step of the way. If you need a car repair, don't go to the dealership, go here. BMW estimated my repairs at over $9,300. I came here and they fixed it all perfectly for $2,600. Thank you Ruth, Fred and staff for being awesome. Highly recommend. read more

This was my first visit. They are completely honest. They had the opportunity to clip me for a lot more money than they did. They think that cultivating a loyal customer is more important than creating a one-time sale. They have a loyal customer for life in me, and if anyone I know is looking for an honest and very competent auto repair shop, I will be sending them here. There are fancy repair places, but guess what? In order to pay for fancy, they need to upsell and/or make large repair bills. Don't let the looks of the outside drive you somewhere else. Ruth and the Boys will treat you exactly how they would want to be treated. read more

I had a tune up done for my Acura TL 2000 (approx 213,400 miles on it). Spark plugs, ignition coils, and high-pressure hose were replaced. Fast and affordable service with repair financing available. Ruth and Fred (owner) are friendly and have a waiting area featuring TV, coffee, and donuts on Saturday mornings. After tune up, car runs like new. read more

Last weekend I went to Tires Plus because my car was making some awful noises. They were unable to diagnose the problem and ended up charging me for a bunch of crap I didn't need. Today when the noises started getting worse, I decided to call Boca Auto Service since I had been here before to get my battery replaced. They were kind enough to look at my car 15 minutes before they were about to close and diagnosed the problem quickly! Within 10 minutes they fixed up my car and I was out the door. I am so happy I came here and don't know why I didn't come in the first place. These guys are super friendly, fair, and always do top quality work. I 100% recommend to anyone living in the area. I will be coming back for any additional work needed on my car!! read more

My Mom's car had problems with a rough idle and stalling at red lights. I found a vacuum hose that fell off and put it back on,. but no improvement. I could not find another vacuum leak so replaced the MAF and ICV. Still no luck. It was due for an oil change and I found Boca Auto Services here on Yelp. I also found a groupon for an oil change so I went for it. I scheduled online for Sat morning but when I got there at 8:30 am it was packed. Apparently the groupon was a success. I waited for less than 10 minutes told them what was up and left. Got a call at 11:20 saying the car is ready, it was a vacuum leak which they fixed for no charge! Running smooth so far! Thanks. read more

I was told by Jiffy Lube that my oil plug was stripped and to take it back to the last place I had the oil changed ( Boca Auto Service). I did and although they did not admit any fault they fixed it for free. EXCEPT that they sent me home with a car leaking oil. I brought it back and they then said I would need a new oil pan for several hundred dollars and they would " do me a favor" and split it with me. Their mechanic said it couldn't be fixed any other way. I took it to another mechanic who was nice enough to just tighten the oil plug SINCE IT WAS LOOSE and now no leaks. I'll let you draw your own conclusions. read more

I found Ruth at Boca Auto service to be honest and forthright. I had a damaged rotor that had been diagnosed in another city on my way to Boca. I called several auto service places. They all wanted to do more than replace my one rotor. Ex: We will only replace both back rotors not just one, you need to have pads replaced also (they had not even seen the pads!), Honda wanted to charge me $160 more than Boca Auto Service. If you have a good experience with a service company, write a review on Yelp, Trip Advisor etc. That is how I found Boca Auto Service. read more

Got an oil change without a side of b.s. like the dealerships. Straight Forward car service without the fluff! Finally, a reliable car service place! Has a cigarette smell in the air that I didn't like, my husband said that's the sign of a good car shop. Ya but now I have to go wash my hair and change clothes as the scent stayed with me. Otherwise no complaints, great place! read more

Beyond friendly and helpful shop. I dropped my vehicle off without an appointment and got a call with a very low estimate shortly thereafter. The work was done quickly and when I picked up my car, everything was explained to me so that I could understand what was done. Another shop had quoted me double the price for extra work that I didn't need. I definitely recommend this shop for auto service. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP.They were excellent! Honest, fast, fair. My car had stopped running. I had it towed. The price they quoted me on the phone was fair and my billed ended up being $150 LESS than the quote. Now that is honest. I had just been to another shop where they said I needed $900 worth of "hoses and fluids." Ruth at Boca Auto Service said she'd look everything over. She said the hoses were find as were the fluids. It's so rare to find such honesty and service. Thank you thank you. read more

Recently needed a mechanic and I didn't know of one down here since I moved. I found Boca Auto Service on yelp and I was not disappointed! Great service and very reasonable prices! Both times I had my car towed there and they always stayed in touch with me. They called to tell me when my car arrived and what was going on with it. They also contacted my warranty company and talked to them. Super friendly people! I would definitely recommend them! read more

We started going to Boca Auto Service to have our cars maintenance services due to all the great reviews. When my husband's car one day wouldn't start we had it tow to Boca Auto Service. Fred spent two hours trying to find the problem and it turned out to be something only the dealer could do. He didn't charge us anything for the service. I was impressed and understand why Boca Fred has such great reviews. He really is the most honest mechanic. I highly recommend Boca Auto Service. read more

I give them 5 stars! They called me before completing any services, were through and very helpful. They were honest and Ruth was so nice. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Had 184,000 miles on my Durango, and it needed major work. I brought it in to Boca Auto Service, because I have always found them to be fair, honest and very helpful. Needed AC work--a new condensor, and them my compressor was acting up. It was replaced previously, and Fred found out that it was under warranty, so he found a free replacement. Car now blows ice cold. My u-joints were a wreck, and I need new shocks, had a gasket that needed to be replaced, and needed a replacement of thermostat, and a couple other small items fixed. As I said, I needed a major overhaul. Fred got everything done, did it within a day, and did it a a very fair price. And now, I have, my car running like new. Very rarely, can you find a place where you get the efficient, quick, honest service that Fred supplies at Boca Auto Service. It is the only place that I will go to get work done on my car. And if you want to wait for your repair and get hungry, across the street is Baja for food. If the repair is an over nighter, you can get a rental car for, with Fred's special rate for just $25 from Enterprise across the street. I would recommend Boca Auto Service highly. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Clunking noise in the back of the car. I had seen reviews so I dropped in just to ask if they were interested in diagnosing and then treating the problem. Ruth, at the front desk, had me wait for about 10 minutes whereupon one of their mechanics and I went for a test drive. Returning to the office, the car went up on a lift and minutes later, I was escorted into the garage and shown what the problem was. Parts were ordered and when I came back to Florida, I made an appointment, took the car in, and later that day, Ruth called and told me the car was ready. An altogether positive experience from the original drop in, to the repair, to payment. read more

If you need a great and fair auto repair shop this is DEFINITELY where you need to take to automobile. They have great prices and will not rip you off. Mrs. Ruth really makes this place tho. She is super helpful and even drove me to work and made sure I was on time. Customer for life! read more

Very reasonable people and prices. I found this place form a groupon and I'm not disappointed. Just by talking to them on the phone I know they will not nickel and dime you. They even suggested to buy a groupon before coming in and they are flexible with the time just call ahead. Their prices are reasonable for a synthetic oil change. They have free internet and power to charge electronics. Just ask the friendly girls for the wifi password. read more

I highly recommend this repair shop! We are from out of town and my check engine light came on so we needed to get right in. I was afraid that 7:30 am on a Monday they would be busy but they got us right in and on the road back home in 2 hours. It would have been sooner but they had to order a part. The office smelled like smoke was the only complaint I had. Don't make a mistake and go to the shop right next door that we walked into first by accident. Thank you read more

Boca Auto Service is somewhere I will keep returning to! The woman at the front (I'm awful with names) is very friendly and knowledgeable- as a woman, I have definitely had mechanics talk down to me or seem to intentionally use overly technical language, so the fact that a woman works there (not just as a receptionist) truly does make a difference to me. The service was quick and they were honest about my check engine light- they told me what codes came back and what they meant, but also told me the codes that came up were probably temporary and didn't try to push unnecessary work onto me. read more

About a month ago we came to the shop because we had an emergency with my mom's car. Although it was a Friday evening and we showed up 20 minutes before them closing they took us in and fixed the problem. They did a great job and saved us from a heartache. We were in route to Miami and thanks to them we were able to make it to our destination safely and on the same day. I highly recommend them! read more

I highly recommend Boca Auto!!! They are honest, professional, accommodating, friendly and do great work!!!!

They are very fair. Always professional and timely. I had bought a used car and needed repairs I quoted and Boca Auto charged between 40-50% less than others. I continue to use them for anything. I recieved an $1100 repair quote recently from Firestone in West Boca. When I took it to Boca Auto - turns out the repairs were not needed. YEAH BOCA AUTO read more

Great experience. Honest business. Fixed my Starter due to a loose wire, while other mechanic told me to replace it. Saved me $270. Ruth was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Henry was quick and efficient. Diagnosed the problem in minutes and had it fixed within the half hour. Prompt, friendly, and HONEST service. Would recommend to a friend. read more

My check engine light recently came on. Today while driving on Dixie Highway, I happened to notice Boca Auto Service. It looked pretty busy, but I decided to take a chance and stop in to see if they could check it out for me. Expecting to hear I would have to make an appointment or come back another day, to my unexpected, pleasant surprise, Ruth immediately grabbed her scanner and went to my vehicle with me. She found the code (emissions problem) and cleared it. She advised me to get a new gas cap. I asked her how much I owed her. She said nothing. I am new to the area and have been looking for a good mechanic I can TRUST. I will definitely be having my vehicle serviced at Boca Auto Service in the future. Thank you Ruth. read more

Wooo hooo lady at the front rocks - she is the bomb place deserves an A - they do a very good job

I brought my car in for a noise, it took them ten days to realize it was a belt. Then she said she had to order the belt and it would be another four days, way too long and not friendly at all. read more

I hate going here but they are awesome so it takes some of the pain away. Their prices seem to always be fair and easily less than most other places. Honestly I don't think it could be less unless you have "a guy" who just seems to have some part he "got" cheap somewhere. I have gone several times in the last six months unfortunately and they have always been incredibly helpful and professional and always conscientious of life's financial struggles. They don't try to sell me nitrogen for my tire or whatever and I always get multiple options with pros and cons for each. Only real negative, if you can even call it that, is they don't have the biggest bay and seem to always be busy so your going to have to wait but my car has so far always been finished the same day, even when I didn't have an appointment, and you just drop it off in morning and pick it up afternoon. Seriously go here. Also lady on phone is awesome and actually cares I think. read more

Very impressed. Honest and ethical auto service. The only downside is that it is so popular that it is very busy most of the time. If you have to wait very long for your repair service, you can take a quick walk over to Mizner Place, full of shops, restaurants, and an art museum. Two doors away is Enterprise Auto Rental, and they are equally helpful and reasonably priced if you need to borrow a car.. read more

I loved my experience here. I was in desperate need of a synthetic oil change, and I always feel nickle and dimed by my dealership and other "chain" auto shops because it's a higher grade oil. I found them through groupon for a great price, bought the groupon, and made an appointment that same day. The receptionist (I believe her name is Ruth) is super helpful, sincere, friendly, accommodating, and customer-service focused. I feel like those are rare qualities in the auto industry. Not only did they change my oil, they also inflated my tires complimentary, and replaced my headlight (charging only for the price of the part, no charge for service or installation). I never expected to be so taken care of- as it was on my to do list to install the light on my own and also to run to the gas station to pump my tires. They exceeded my expectations, and took care of me without me even asking for anything but a groupon oil change. I highly recommend Boca Auto Service! I'll be back. read more

Great service!! Just came here for tire issues. Super responsive. Friendly. Great decision.

In need of a car repair, I found Boca Auto on Yelp and chose them based on their customer reviews. I have found them to be honest, informative, and fair in their pricing. I recently dropped my car off there after it died and Ruth quickly determined that the issue with my car was under a recall. After replacing my brakes at Boca Auto (which was needed), she negotiated a good price to have it towed and then SHE was the one to keep me informed on the status of my car's repair even though it had been moved to a dealership for the repair. What I appreciate so much about Boca Auto and Ruth is their communication - I was frequently updated on the status of my car and never had to worry that I wasn't in good hands. read more

This place is awesome! Very honest. I went in for brakes and rotors and they told me they were fine and didn't need replacing (showed me too). They also have good prices! Will be coming back for sure. read more

So I'm down here for the summer and not familiar with the area at all. I was having some car trouble and found this place through the good reviews. The reviews don't lie! As a young female, auto repair shops can be intimidating. They gave me incredible customer service and took great care of my car and did exactly what I needed. I wish I could find a place like this back home. Highly recommend! read more

I went to Mercedes to have my stereo repaired and they told me the entire master command center would have to be placed. The cost for the service and parts was $8000. Being sane I said NO to the repair and went to Fred at Boca Auto. Fred repaired my radio. There was nothing wrong with the master command center, it was an issue of parts being replaced and some reprogramming. The entire cost for the stereo repair and a new transmission mount which I didn't even realize was cracked was under $800.Fred is a kind, caring and honest person. I will never go anywhere else. Maybe I'll go on vacation now that Fred saved me $7,200! read more

I went to Boca Auto for the first time for an oil change. When I got there I mentioned a loud rattle that had developed under the car and my cooling fan was no longer coming on. They not only did the oil change quickly but they fixed my rattle without a charge. Additionally the fan wasn't working due to a portion of the bumper that had bent into the fan. They said somebody had run into the front of my car hard enough to bend the metal part but without leaving any visible damage externally. I thought, oh no here come $1000's on expense. Not at Boca Auto, the mechanic offered to modified the bracket and all would work again. 30 Minutes later I was back on the road with everything working. Fred didn't even charge me for this work. He doesn't know it but he made more money that day than he would if he would have charged big for the repair. He has my loyalty and all my auto work is going to him in the future. I just had then replace a cv joint and water houses on my sons Honda. Very fair price and the work was done right. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOCA AUTO read more
