This was our first time to Blue Ridge and a friend of ours told us if we ever came, to try Bob's Eatery. So, we did and it did not disappoint! The pizzas we got were seasonal flavors and was honestly the best pizza we've ever had! We also got the seasonal Pumpkin milkshake and it was delicious! Go! You will not be disappointed!

My sandwich was very good, although I will say I think it was smaller than I thought it would be. After finishing I was still hungry, as were my other friends who also ordered sandwiches. It had a cute interior, but no indoor seating so we sat outdoors. The tables are a little too small so we were pretty crammed. Prices were fair, milkshakes are a bit on the expensive side. My friends ordered a milkshake and it looked pretty but I didn't try one myself.

Once again we stopped at Bob's Eatery. Excellent service. Fast and delicious food. The atmosphere is always great and the staff is amazing! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic lunch. Prices can be a little high but very worth it.

AMAZING!!! Either street parking and small parking lot next to the shops. This place is incredible. The milkshakes are ones you would dream about!!! Giant ones piled high with cakes, whipped cream you name it this chef thinks of everyone's favorite flavors- if cakes aren't your thing there's a candy one! Oh and If milkshakes aren't your thing then there are sandwiches!! And they are amazing but as a die hard sugar mania fan it's the milkshakes that brought me here!! Specifically the s'mores one!! They owner is so nice and personally comes out to greet you and help you make a decision. When he has time! It got quite busy!! But everyone was so friendly that walked in! I felt like I was in a well established long standing family shop that knew the whole neighborhood!! I got the s'mores and asked for no graham cracker to make it Gluten free. But I didn't even ask about the sandwiches! I was all about this milkshake. This picture I got of the Instagram because I demolished my milkshake!! Oh and they have a dog wall!! I wish I brought my picture in! They'll hang up any picture of a puppy (all dogs are puppies to me) that's framed! So cool! If you're in the blue ridge area it is certainly worth a visit! Amazing food, super fun, and just opened! Absolutely incredible!

    It was flavorful

Great dining experience. From salads to sandwiches to individual pizzas, the menu is fun and fresh. Add to that some awesome shakes in tons of flavors and you have a real winning ticket. Super friendly service.

The eatery is tucked behind the tavern and can be accessed through the alley way, they have indoor and outdoor seating. There is street parking in the front and back of the eatery. The food is exceptional and more so the people serving them are kind. I'd highly recommend getting a pizza and a milkshake here. They're fast and serve with care and accuracy. I can't wait to go back for some more.

My wife and I were visiting family in Murphy NC and decided to do a field day to Blue Ridge. We ate at Bob's Eatery and were not disappointed. I had the roast beef sandwich and I was sad when I ate the last bite because I loved it so much. Then my wife and I got the shake (see picture) and it was awesome. That brownie was so big I thought I couldn't eat it all, but I did. Lol. The owner is extremely nice and generous. We would recommended trying this eatery out. Bring a framed picture of your dog or favorite animal and they will hang it on the wall.

Get the #2 sandwich because it may be the tastiest sandwich we've ever had! If you're a dog lover you'll love the wall (see pic) with all the pics of beloved four legged family members that have passed on and some have little notes from their owners about how much they miss them. Stop in and support these lovely people!

Let me just say this is a…read morepopular tourist attraction so it had its fair share of people so come with some patience. Outside it has some beautiful views worth stopping for a photo and stopping at the bakery inside for some fried pies and cider donuts are a must! The fried pies were okay but the Cider Donuts are a show stopper. They also have tons of other things like fruits and veggies, toys, books, figurines, wine and more!

First things first -- get ready for a drive. This place is…read morenot just "down the street." It's a journey. But let me be very clear: it is 100% worth it. From the moment you arrive, you can tell Mercier Orchards is something special. There is so much packed into this one location that it almost feels like a small village built around apples and everything that comes with them. Inside the main store, the selection is honestly overwhelming in the best way possible -- home goods, gifts, jams, jellies, preserves, baking mixes, sauces, butters, ciders... anything and everything apple-related, plus plenty of other fruit-based goodies. It's the kind of place where you say "I'm just going to browse" and then walk out with bags of stuff you didn't know you needed. Then there's the bakery. Seven lines. All long. And all moving surprisingly well. I eventually stepped out of line after about 15 minutes, but not before getting a solid look at the pastries, pies, breads, and desserts -- everything looked incredible. Even without buying anything that round, the bakery alone is worth the stop. Now let's talk about the apple picking experience -- because this is where the magic really happens. Riding out on a trailer attached to a tractor felt like something straight out of a fall movie. The views, the air, the vibe -- it's peaceful, exciting, and nostalgic all at the same time. The apples change with the season, and the ones we picked were delicious and lasted a long time. No pesticides, just straight calcium. Fresh, crisp, and perfect. And yes... get a bag or three like I did. You're going to want them. The entire place also makes for amazing photo opportunities. Whether it's the orchard, the tractor ride, the store, or the scenery -- this is one of those spots where your camera roll is guaranteed to fill up. The only negative moment of the day happened when I went to grab some cider and one of the guys behind the counter completely ignored me. I actually had to call him out -- like, "Did you not see me standing here?" Not great. But that one interaction couldn't even come close to outweighing everything else this place offers. Bottom line: If you're anywhere in the area -- or even thinking about making a day trip -- you absolutely have to go. It's a little off the beaten path, so I don't expect most people to just "stumble" upon it... but if you plan it, you won't regret it. This is an experience, not just a stop.
