I've been here several times and it's great but sometimes inconsistent for the plain/original Mac & cheese. Usually it's perfectly salty with a good amount of cheese on top but once in awhile it can be bland (significantly less cheese on top). So to prevent any possible disappointment, I suggest probably ordering extra cheese. A small is good for 2 people to share. You have to wait about 10 minutes for your order to be ready and there's only 2 small benches to sit and eat it. The patio tables next door are not owned by them. But I love coming here because it looks nostalgic, like a box made from giant coloured popsicle sticks & it tastes good. There are other toppings like pulled pork you can add to the mac and cheese! I do suggest that!

I made the trip all the way from Markham, but it was worth the trip we got the small bbq chicken mac and cheese, the owner wasn't too friendly at first I can understand because he was really busy, but after he was super friendly and down to earth. We got the small bbq chicken Mac and cheese and I believe he smokes his own chicken and makes his own bbq sauce which is fire and so delicious, the small is massive big enough for two people no need to get the large. The presentation is awesome he gives it in a nice box, the first bite felt like heaven the bechamel sauce melts in your mouth with the pasta and the chicken was so tender and the bbq sauce had a tang to it, I want to come here again honestly I'm not a big fan of Mac and cheese because the only one I tasted before was Kraft dinner, but this place made me fall in love with Mac and cheese again , it so nostalgic, They work on thing but they perfected it, if you go to this place bbq chicken Mac and cheese is a must, I salute the owner he's passionate about his craft and super hardworking I admire people like him, I will definitely come back with my parents because I think they will love it as well. I glad I tried this place because it was on my bucket list for a while, I was looking for a while for a good Mac and cheese spot, and I'm this place is it. The bechamel sauce with the bbq sauce is an excellent combo and it works really well with the pasta, and if you write a google review the next time you come you get a free drink, best Mac and cheese period

April 10/2024: Lunch with my buddy, Lindsay. I had the BBQ'd Chicken Mac & Cheese. The large was almost $25.00 with taxes! I'd like to say this was good but it was only ok. The sauce wasn't as thick & cheese rich as I would have hoped for. The salt was off the charts as well. Portion size was big but like I said it was $25.00!! Fair amount of chicken & it had a nice crust on the top but as I mentioned the salt burned my tongue! There was no place to sit (I knew this going in) which kinda took some enjoyment outta the meal. The place itself is tiny with only bench's on the inside with seating for maybe 4 ppl. This is a roadside stand with roadside Mac & Cheese. It's not a destination as I'd hoped & thought it might have been. Not a do over for me.

My wife and I had heard of Bobbie Sue's from doing research prior to visiting Ossington Ave. On our last day in Toronto, we made it to Bobbie Sue's to order some of their Mac & Cheese. The owner was really nice and made conversation about our Ontario Trip. We ended up ordering a small Pulled Pork Mac (everything is made to order so it's fresh) + a beverage. He was nice enough to upgrade us to a large at no extra charge which was really cool of him. There's no indoor seating but there are places near Ossington you can sit and eat OR just take it to-go (which is what we did). The Mac & Cheese was so good that we'd definitely recommend coming here!

Heard and read a lot of good things about this place so decided to try it out on a weekend early evening. Got mac and cheese with trees (broccoli). Took a big one to share it with my husband! It is a take out place. They do have a couple of chairs but most of the time is occupied. Parking could be an issue in this area, there are some GreenP spots maybe you folks could get lucky! As for mac and cheese itself, I was not very impressed with it. Cheese was way to less than I expected. I felt like I ate a lot of plain macaroni with shredded broccoli and cheese here and there. Maybe some people like it this way. I was looking for more cheese and more broccoli flavour which I found missing.

This spot has a great location by the Ossington strip so if you're like me and love a "walk/stop and eat" this is a viable option. However the mac itself is mediocre at best. It really depends on how you like your Mac as everyone does it differently. This place has an okay crust but it's not very cheesy. Their pulled pork option was good as there was a good amount of it. The service was great; they were fast and friendly. There are two benches inside the hut but it's more for waiting rather than eating. Overall, if the line at Badiali's is too long then this is a good second option.

Eh. Maybe because I'm used to my aunts Mac and cheese that I travel from Illinois to Michigan just to devour it every year on Christmas that I'm giving this a 3 star review. The two just doesn't compare. Maybe the versions with meat have a little more flavor? This needed a pinch more salt. Or maybe it's my Americanized taste buds that are warped.

What a hidden gem! Another by accident find during our staycation rediscovering Toronto Neighbourhood Ossington Strip. No eat in, you order; they make it and you can stand and eat it or leave. We decided to walk outside with it on a windy sunny day and this warmed us up! We ordered the small classic Mac and cheese and it was outstanding! First off small Mac and cheese served in a deep bowl in a pizza box had an outstanding bechamel sauce (like amazing) with oozy gooey cheese inside and the topping was perfect with tasty bits. I do want to go back and try the other options but classic Mac and cheese A++++

I have seen this shack while driving numerous times and finally decided to stop by. I ordered the blue buffalo chicken. I'm not a fan of blue cheese and I mentioned that to the lady and she said she will put less blue cheese in it but to be honest I did not taste much blue cheese it worked really well they mix the blue cheese buffalo sauce and chicken into the mac and cheese so it all becomes one. Because they mix all the ingredients together before they bake the mac and cheese everybody is so flavorful it is not your average macaroni and cheese with some chicken sprinkled on top. I thoroughly enjoyed it the only reason why I'm giving it four stars and not five is because it wasn't the best mac and cheese in the world but it definitely was really good and I would go back. If you are vegan they do have vegan options as well

If you're looking for some awesome Mac & Cheese, look no further! Will definitely visit again when I'm craving this staple comfort food. FOOD: We ordered the Pulled Pork and Buffalo Blue Cheese. We ordered two small sizes which are enough as one serving each. The pulled pork was tasty, creamy and highly recommended. I didn't notice the Buffalo Blue Cheese had Frank's written on it til afterward and it had a bit more of a kick than I would have liked but was very tasty nonetheless. The Mac'N'Cheese is cooked perfectly giving it the comforting softness with a few slightly toasted spots on the macaroni itself. RESTAURANT/SERVICE: Review is for during the Covid19 pandemic. Bobbie Sue's is located just off Ossington between Queen and Dundas. The spot looks like a cute takeout type street vendor. I did take a picture of the restaurant from the outside because I thought how cool it looked but when I entered the restaurant the staff serving me asked me not to take photos and visit the website for the menu if that's what I was looking for as their staff don't like having their photos taken. A very reasonable request, but just one I've never received before when photoing a restaurant. The wait was about 15 mins for the food. When I picked the food, I felt like the same staff member was a bit annoyed as well (didn't say much and just handed me the food). VALUE: Reasonable and good sized portion. Although Mac N Cheese probably isn't particularly expensive to make.

Finally got the chance to try mac n cheese at ossington by @bobbiesuesmac We got the carbonara flavour, but they have a variety of flavours to choose from if carbonara isn't your thing. The carbonara mac n cheese was super creamy with the egg yolk mixed in and a good ratio of pancetta Definitely will come back to try the other mac n cheeses @imsuchafatass

I was really excited to try this mac and cheese because I read how it was one of the top in Toronto and I'm a big fan of Mac and cheese. However, I was extremely disappointed, in that the Mac and cheese lacked cheese and the cheesy flavour that a Mac and cheese should have. It had more cream to it but no cheese taste and lacked salt in the cream sauce. The BBQ chicken on top was dry. For $18, it was definitely not worth it and did not live it up what a Mac and cheese should be like, cheesy, gooey and the right amount of salt.

Great spot to try if you are looking for comfort food and or something that will fill ya right up! Arrived here a bit before closing time but still managed to get an order in. The employees were really nice and patient while we decided to order. We opted for the buffalo chicken mac n cheese and by the time it was done, we planned on eating it right away but it was really really hot (so be careful!). I'd say it came in a pretty good portion and they gave us a good amount of meat and cheese ratio. I would come back and try another flavor!

No one informed us of any delays, and when I mentioned I was in a rush for an appointment, the waitress insisted the food was "10 minutes away," which wasn't true. When I later directly asked the waitress to cancel the order and bring the cheque just for the drink, her apology felt insincere and was followed by a defensive explanation rather than accountability ("I wasn't aware you were in a rush"). At that point, I didn't really want to argue, I just wanted to pack up the food that finally came (although it was strangely already cold) and pay. We also found it strange that they wanted to charge an extra $1 just to serve the potato sauce on the side, even though it already comes with the dish, which we found to be odd This was just a simple dietary accommodation request to not coat potatoes in sauce but only serve a little on the side, we're not asking for anything in addition to the meal.
