Tried to order ahead their online order didn't work tried to call and they wouldn't answer the phone drove there arrived at 6:46 walked up young man acted like he would take my order and smiled proudly to say we don't serve food after 6:45. Have u ever tried to save a boba drink by putting it in the fridge overnight? Well, if you have, then this is what their boba is like- not soft and chewy delights, but more like days-old licorice left sitting in an air fryer. And the milk tea was the same experience. No flavor, watered down and just not worthy of being a drink. I couldn't bring myself to finish it- it felt like torture. The mixed fruit tea was also watered down with little flavor. Just not worth drinking- even my young niece was gravely disappointed. I had to apologize to her after I tasted it. The banh mi (bbq pork) was decent. Bread seemed fresh. Meat was generous. Smaller bread sizes, which doesn't bother me, but letting you know. Honestly, I don't know how this place has 4.5 stars?!?! Maybe people that have never ever had boba before frequent here? On the positives: the place is cute and would be a nice little hangout for youth. The service is amicable and they do appear to not be fully up-and-running... The ac still has that new plastics smell. But if that menu does not improve, I'm not sure how long they will be around. read more

Loved the theme and well furniture. Service was good which is important. As for the food, I bought two coffee drinks - sea salt foam and banana foam. Also,two banh mi sandwiches- bbq pork and combination with extra mayo and pate. I rate the Coffee 4.5 and banh mi get 3 because the baguette needs work. It was served dry and stale. I hope Boban's grand opening is different from its current soft opening because it's disappointing. It seems like a lot of their items are from Costco. When I saw the cookies in the glass, they looked very familiar. They looked like they were from Costco. We had a friend who is a fan of Costco's cookies taste test the cookies and she confirmed that he cookies sold at Boban were from Costco. My wife ordered the rotisserie chicken banh mi and thought the chicken tasted like it was the rotisserie chicken from Costco. Just go to Costco, it's not far from Boban. read more

I really love this place not just because it's so close for myself. Their sandwiches are always really good sometimes the pate can be bit salty, but nonetheless very tasty. Their Service is really good they have always been really nice and able to get my food out pretty quickly. They actually gave my girlfriend and I free drinks to taste that were really good they were the pumpkin spice thai tea which was limited time. This place is going viral for their flavorful sandwiches and rice bowls, and they sell out almost every day. They have an assortment of proteins to choose from including bbq pork, five spice beef, sweet chili tofu, and pho beef. The baguette they use is perfectly crispy on the outside and airy on the inside, and doesn't tear up the inside of your mouth like other baguettes do. For drinks I recommend trying their banana matcha milk tea with ube cold foam for a refreshing beverage, but if you're looking for that traditional Vietnamese coffee with strong and bold flavors, you need to get their Cafe Sua Da that'll get your heart pumping! For $8.50 you can't go wrong with the rotisserie chicken banh mi and it came with a free drink due to their promotion. Service was quick and helpful and the food and drinks were pretty good! The ambiance was a bit confusing, I couldn't tell if it was a cafe like place where I could study (which I initially came to do). A lot of traffic in and out and limited seating. My only suggestions would be to add WiFi for students who would want to study here and buy their food and drinks as well as to have non dairy milk options. There's a long time local banh me shop that's down the road but they don't have seating available so this will definitely become my go to if WiFi becomes available as well as non dairy options. Also, there were a few fruit flys hanging out, so I think having some fruit fly traps would be helpful! They did a great job of remodeling the place. Hope this place stays around :) read more

We live near by and decided to give this shop a try. Unfortunately the service and drink did not meet our expectation. When we came in the staff did not even say anything just looking at us, then we looked around and found the self order machine to order. We ordered banana matcha and Vietnamese coffee with sea salt. We ordered the matcha to be less sweet but it was still very sweet and we barely taste the matcha flavor. The coffee is definitely needs more strong flavor.
