I really love this place not just because it's so close for myself. Their sandwiches are always really good sometimes the pate can be bit salty, but nonetheless very tasty. Their Service is really good they have always been really nice and able to get my food out pretty quickly. They actually gave my girlfriend and I free drinks to taste that were really good they were the pumpkin spice thai tea which was limited time. For $8.50 you can't go wrong with the rotisserie chicken banh mi and it came with a free drink due to their promotion. Service was quick and helpful and the food and drinks were pretty good! The ambiance was a bit confusing, I couldn't tell if it was a cafe like place where I could study (which I initially came to do). A lot of traffic in and out and limited seating. My only suggestions would be to add WiFi for students who would want to study here and buy their food and drinks as well as to have non dairy milk options. There's a long time local banh me shop that's down the road but they don't have seating available so this will definitely become my go to if WiFi becomes available as well as non dairy options. Also, there were a few fruit flys hanging out, so I think having some fruit fly traps would be helpful! They did a great job of remodeling the place. Hope this place stays around :) read more

We live near by and decided to give this shop a try. Unfortunately the service and drink did not meet our expectation. When we came in the staff did not even say anything just looking at us, then we looked around and found the self order machine to order. We ordered banana matcha and Vietnamese coffee with sea salt. We ordered the matcha to be less sweet but it was still very sweet and we barely taste the matcha flavor. The coffee is definitely needs more strong flavor. Customer service needs to improve. My friend and I came in on 5/28 and were directed to order from a kiosk while there were two women at the cash register, one training the other. Since it was our first time, we had questions about the menu. However, we were given short and abrupt answers and they didn't even glance up from what they were doing. I was craving banana matcha and decided to check this place out as I noticed it was new! The shop is cute and small, but there are several 2 seater tables inside. The menu has a range of teas and food. Drink 2.5/5 Banana Matcha with Boba Looks nothing like the picture. Firstly, I ordered this under the assumption that the white foam on top (in the menus image) is a banana foam. When my drink came out I was like ??? there was no banana foam on top instead they mashed up bananas and let it sit at the bottom. I like bananas but this is misleading. I've never tried a banana matcha where just mushed bananas is sitting at the bottom. The matcha to milk ratio is also off. Way tooooo much milk from that amount of matcha. Also there are grainy bits. I don't know whether it's from the banana, boba, or the matcha, but it is not appealing to the tongue. The phloem bundle was also left intact, while I know it's edible, it is not the greatest texture inside a drink. Please reconsider your menus images and the reality of the drink before misleading customers. I understand this is partially my fault for not asking, but it is still strange. read more

There are better banh mi options than this place. The cold cut sandwich bread was big, but the meat in it was stingy. Also too salty. The matcha latte was overly sweet. Like diabetes in a cup. They also ran out of vietnamese coffee when I was there which was at noon time. The cashier was open with no line, but she directed me to use the kiosk instead. What a joke. Came here on grand opening day with a friend. We ordered, got a table inside, and left our things there for a couple minutes to walk around. We come back and--surprise!-a member of management is literally holding our stuff and kicking us out of our seats so their friends could sit comfortably indoors. Yes, on opening day. I guess paying customers come second to her personal guest list. Not reserved. No signs. Just straight-up kicked us out like we didn't matter. Honestly, it left a bitter taste in our mouths long before the food even came. And the food? Don't bother. The boba was old, mushy, and had a burnt aftertaste--within the few hours of opening. How do you mess that up that early? The bánh mì? A total replica of something you'd get from Bánh Mì Chè Cali--oily and definitely not worth the price. The parking lot? Tiny and a nightmare to park in. Super unprofessional and honestly embarrassing. If this is how management treats paying customers on day one, I can't imagine how downhill it'll go from here. I stopped by during the grand opening when they were offering a free fruit tea with the purchase of a bánh mì. Despite how busy they were, the service was solid--the place was nearly packed, and the parking lot had no space left. I'm sure on a normal day it wouldn't be this hectic, and as things settle in, I imagine the service will only get better. Opening a brand new restaurant with a line out the door is no small feat, and they handled it well. After a short wait, I got my order: the au jus beef and the BBQ pork bánh mì. I've got to say, these might be the best bánh mì I've ever had. I usually don't enjoy really hard bread since it can be tough to eat, but the bread here had a nice bite while staying soft and fluffy inside. Both meats were exceptional--flavorful enough that I'd gladly eat them on their own. The fruit tea was also great--not too sweet, just refreshing.
