I stopped in a little after 11am on a weekday, and was the only person there. Service was very friendly and patient with my questions, as this was my first visit. The donuts are self-serve with trays and tongs. They had a wide variety available. I selected a original glazed, a pretty in pink (strawberry glazed), a chocolate and a pandan. I also ordered two K-dogs (Korean-style elevated corn dogs), and a classic pearl milk tea with the standard brown sugar boba. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. My drink was a pretty standard boba drink. Good, but nothing special. The drinks are very customizable, with ice amount and sweetness level just two of the options. The K-dogs were really tasty. I got an Potato Dog (which is a corn dog covered with crispy potato cubes and served with a fry sauce). The other dog I chose was the Gochujang Dog: their standard corn dog with Gochujang sauce. You have the option of having your K-Dog stuffed with mozzarella, a hotdog, or half hotdog and half mozzarella. I did half dog, half mozzarella on both. The cheese made the K-Dogs like huge fried mozzarella sticks. I enjoyed both, they were huge, and I ended up splitting them with a friend. I had both sauces on the side as my order was to go, and both complimented the rich cheese/dogs nicely. The fry sauce was rich and tangy, and the Gochujang a little spicy and a little sweet. The donuts were good too. This was my first time trying mochi donuts. The mochi flour gives the donuts a firmer and denser texture than your standard donut. I love other mochi desserts, but here I missed the lightness and melt-in-your-mouth quality of regular donuts. That is more of a personal preference, but something to be aware of, especially if you are sensitive to textures in food. It seemed like most of the individual flavors of each donut came more from the toppings rather than the donut itself. That isn't unusual with donuts of any kind. The service was awesome, and I was intrigued most by the K-Dogs. I will be back when I am in the mood for an different kind of treat. read more

Really surprised to see mochi donut here. Actually better some of the mochi donuts I had in LA or Chicago Lots of choices and pretty elevated flavor Not a huge fan of the Dubai chocolate one. More just a stunt with the gold leaf and Dubai chocolate is not that much better than the other flavors. These special pastries are made with Japanese mochi flour, which makes them chewier than a traditional American donut. I got that dog in me! We ordered a couple hotdogs, a few mochi donuts and a ube drink. My partner ordered the cheeseburger dog, I ordered the potato dog with half dog, half cheese. Both were delicious! We had a ln original donut, s'mores and a spicy ginger. All three were good, but ginger was the best! The Ube drink my partner ordered was really creamy and good. There was only one girl working when we arrived, she had the patience of a saint and provided AMAZING customer service. Walked in to try this out and all the staff were cussing and talking inappropriately with customers inside. We were ready to check out and they ignored us and then someone had to tell the young girl to help us. She came up and rolled her eyes, no customer service at all and cashed us out and nothing else. Two stars for nice customer service and a decent donut. Unfortunately, their milk tea was absolutely horrid. In this day and age, it seems like there's milk tea everywhere you go. Makes me feel like it should be easy to find a decent one, especially when mixed teas are over half of their menu. Since this was my first time, I ordered the classic pearl "milk" tea. It tasted watery and actually super nasty. When I asked about it, I found out they don't even use milk in it. They mix tea with non dairy creamer. What?! This is your classic? This is like the third review I've ever left, but the world needs to know not to waste their time and money on a nasty, watery, non-milk, milk tea. I've heard people go in and say no donuts were available. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there was plenty of fresh made donuts. Only 2 people working on a Sunday did make for a bit of wait. It's clean open environment made it a great place to sit and enjoy with just enough space to do so. The mochi donuts and the k-dog we had were average. What made it more special was that we had a place like this to enjoy. I expect things to only get better as they roll out and get in the swing. Customer service 5-star. First off, the long wait was ridiculous. I will say the only good thing at this location are the mochi donuts. The flaming hot cheese dog was not great, the taro boba tea was gross. There was too many employees yet lack of speed for things to get done quickly. This place has a lot of potential if the manager were to teach its employees how to make their drinks and their cheese dogs in the correct manner. I thought this place would match the vibe of Mochinut but it didn't. I hope that this location sees my comment and takes it with a grain of salt and hope it becomes better. Everyone loves a place where they can come back to and for me I'm hoping the next time I go is a much better experience than my first because Salem doesn't have many places like this. Having been from the east coast, it was a pleasant find to have a place with mochi donuts. The donuts themselves were delicious, very soft and chewy and even tasted good the next day. Was not a fan of the Korean corn dog as the ratio was very off: too much breading compared to the meat/cheese inside; definitely had better elsewhere and will not come back for the corn dog unless they change / improve their recipe. The matcha drink was good but the straws they used definitely needed to be larger because my boba was stuck in the straw and made it extremely difficult to drink. Let me say, as a Man who loves any food on a stick, especially deep fried food on a stick, I was happy to try Bobadochi. Seems right in my wheelhouse. First, service was great, Ruby was friendly and patient with me, explaining the different menu items and options. The store was neat and clean, with fully half of the space dedicated to food preparation and donut frying. Packaging for the K-Dogs were spectacular. Now, what have I forgotten. Oh, yeah, the K-Dogs. The presentation was great, the K-Dogs are beautiful, huge and beautiful. The taste, the texture ... not so much. I felt all three K-Dogs were under cooked, the interiors simply warmed. The Pickle K-Dog ($7.95) interior was raw batter, actually inedible. The Regular K-Dog ($5.25) and the Cheeseburger K-Dog ($7.95) were better, but I only finished the Regular, mostly because of the Mozzarella Cheese. I hate to waste cheese. So, for Ruby, Bobadochi's concept and the store itself, high marks, but for the K-Dogs served to me, Two-Stars. I will not return. I've only been to one other mochi donut place(similarly named Mochidochi) in LA and this one compares very well. We got a potato dog and a sweet potato dog, two drinks and an espresso mochi donut. The donuts are not made to order, but were still good and had a fun selection of flavors. I enjoy Korean hotdogs without sugar added, and their fry sauce is very good if you like them leaning mustardy. The boba was made well, and my Thai milk tea was good if not just a little too sweet, so I would get 75% sweet next time. read more

I've been there 3 times so far. Definitely better when they are slower. There are only 5 tables that seat 2 and they were all full. My most recent visit was on a Saturday around 1:30pm. They were busy and it took around 20 mins+ to get 4 corndogs. I tried the cheeseburger and there were spots where the batter was not fully cooked and the last quarter just fell apart. The 2 originals were good but the cheese portion was hollow but good flavor. The last one we got was the pickle and it was huge but everything fell apart. Girlfriend and I got two fresh milk teas, I got the Okinawa brown sugar and she got the tiger boba. Both of them tasted like plain milk and the boba was flavorless as well. They were seriously disappointing for the price. The donuts are pretty good but also crazy expensive. We both tried a Korean corn dog. The insides were fine, but the batter was flavorless. It was okay. Definitely not as good as some you can get in Portland. We also both ordered a strawberry black tea (I tried to order the peach but they didn't have any). They were SOOOOO sweet. Almost unbearably sweet. I couldn't taste any black tea, no idea if it was even in there. It tastes like someone took strawberry jelly and blended it up. Also, both times we tried to order tteokbokki they didn't have any. I saw people complaining about the wait but they definitely didn't have grace for a company that hasn't been open for very long and is still working out the kinks. yes, we had to wait longer than I expected but it was worth it. the donuts were fantastic and so were the k-dogs. we got multiple flavors of each and none of them were bad! we also got the tteokpokki which was also good but maybe a tad small for the price. finally, we each got a boba drink and they were gone before we got home. all in all, the food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. will definitely be going back! read more

The cups are to thin same as with the lids very leaky and messy compared to other boba places. right at the counter one of our drinks broke and cracked while putting the straw in because it was such a thin cup. lady with the resting B face/bad attitude handed us a towel to clean which we asked for to help, they got a mop too. we had to buy a new drink they didn't offer to replace it they said they weren't allowed to. kids loved the hotdogs. read more
