They have a lot of unique drinks to choose from. I was a bit disappointed I couldn't adjust sweetness levels since I am not a big fan of overly sweetened foods/drinks. The place is spacious and was empty when I was there at around 1pm today. I ordered the Mango Horchata with honey boba. I was impressed how good the honey boba was. Boba shops have come and gone in Sunvalley--I remember before Boba N Me was here, a different boba shop was in its place before closing-- so I didn't have high expectations for a shop I haven't heard of before. I was surprised that the first time I came to try it out, the drinks were very flavorful. Not watered down or too much milk. We ordered the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk, Avocado Smoothie, and the Matcha Brown Sugar. The boba itself was also a nice, chewy texture. Prices for our drinks were all under $6 each, which is pretty typical. Service was good and we got our drinks out within a few minutes. There are a few tables and chairs to sit and have your drink and you can grab as many straws and napkins as you need at the front counter. read more

Boba n me is located on the second floor by JCPenenney entrance. They offer a large selection of unique and different drinks as compared to a typical boba shop. Some include, strawberry colada, crazy blue, and much more. I really like the unique and different choices they have. Prices are comparable to others about $10 per two drinks, excluding toppings. I got the iced Thai tea and strawberry peach tea. Both are delicious, but sadly I asked for 0 sugar in my thai tea and it was at regular sweetness... way to sweet for me as I usually get zero sugar. eehhhh, the boba here is okay! i'd recommend the other spots downstairs. loved their horchata boba, but their caramel milk tea was... interesting to say the least. i'm not picky whatsoever, but the "caramel milk tea" was essentially milk with caramel drizzle stuck to the sides of the cup. my boyfriend and i couldn't taste any tea :P i usually finish my drinks (even if i'm not the biggest fan), but i had to give this one up to my boyfriend to finish, lol. i think this was just an error on one employee's part to be honest; the other drinks are completely fine. would return to try one of their croffles out, however! read more

Boba Time like many major boba chain stores copies it's offerings from whatever is selling elsewhere. by this method, Boba Time has made itself antiquated and me too. i.e. they all look alike menu wise. offerings: saw top 20 lists, and redundant drink list on back wall. drink: Matcha Misti (24 oz, 6.95) forgot to customize to less sugar. -drink didn't look like picture. latte may have been all shook in for me. -pretty sweet, kind of addictive. matcha slightly bitter..not omnipresent. 3.5 stars. they copy so so, can't republicate top drinks. probably wouldn't try this Socal place again. nothing innovative. the Newark location has already closed. read more

I am tossing between giving this place 4 stars and 3 stars. OK, let me start with the many good things about their brown sugar milk tea with boba: 1. The brown sugar milk tea: It tasted like whole milk, it was creamy and delicious, and the brown sugar flavor really came through. Overall the drink was pretty amazing. 2. The boba: Perfectly sweetened. 3. The value: Their "large" sized drink turned out to cost more than $7, which was not cheap, but the size was not just "large", it was actually gigantic. Because of that, I felt like the price was justified. Now the bad: A. The boba: Super undercooked, and very tough. Too bad, because the flavor (sweetness) was perfect. B. The tea in milk tea: I did not taste any tea flavor whatsoever. The drink tasted purely like whole milk with brown sugar, even though the name of the drink suggested there was tea. C. The cup: It is one of my pet peeves to see a plastic cap-on lid on my boba drink cup, because with it I could not shake my drink upside down and rigorously to evenly mix my drink, which in this case I would want to be able to shake up my drink so that all of the brown sugar could go into my milk tea. I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and give them 4 stars instead. But I would want to give this place another try, mainly to see if the undercooked boba was just a one time flub. read more

I'm a fan! They're located on the 2nd floor, next to the Mongolian BBQ entrance. The workers here are always so friendly and courteous, and they're very prompt with making drinks. Crowd or no crowd! The only thing is I wish they had a better system for calling out drinks because when it's busy, it can be hard to hear what drinks are ready over the mall/customer noise/conversations. Stay close to the pick up window so you don't miss them calling out your order. I've had the thai tea and the caramel milk tea so far because the SO likes sweet drinks. Both had a good flavor! I wouldn't say they're the best I've ever had, and personally, I like my drinks a bit colder, but they do the trick for when I want some milk tea at the mall. I'm not really into toppings all the time, so I can't speak on the boba or other toppings they have here. Just know, they do have a large selection to choose from if that's your jam. Pricing isn't terrible either for the sizing. A large is a large and it's not price gouged either the way some of these boba shops are, even though it's inside the mall. They even have taiyaki (fish waffles) and soft serve! read more

Hey there, Boba Time! Thought I'd finally get around to leaving Boba Time a review even though I had already visited here quite a few times over the course of their opening to now. Located in the top level of the Sun Valley Mall, and in a location that is known to have previously had other boba and dessert as the concept, it's nice to see that there is finally a spot that is worth staying there with Boba Time. The decor is nice and clean. There are seats on the sides of the wall for you to wait for your drinks, but there are no sit down tables, though you're in a mall so if you really want you can just go directly downstairs to the food court area for seating since that's the side of Sun Valley they're located in. They also added a table now with straws, and for people to stab their straws into their drinks, which makes sense since there's no other tables there before. The staff here is really what sticks out here the most I feel. The owner is very conversational, friendly, and just overall a nice person to interact with. The employees here are also friendly, as I know most of them, and those I'm not as familiar with, they're also ready to help me out with my order. Boba Time doesn't just have boba, but they also have frozen desserts, so if you're in the mood from some of that as well, or just really like Ube and taiyaki cone, thise place will be able to help you out with that. Though it's not an extensive menu for flavors, it will have enough that should be enticing for a group of people as well to choose from. The boba menu is fairly sized. It's not going to be as big as other boba places, but they have all of the basics, and will be able to meet whatever you're feeling for drinks at that moment. Pricing wise, they're kind of on the higher side of things, but then again, all boba seems to have gotten expensive across the board now with all locations, while they haven't gone up since opening, so they're more on par now if anything. The part of the pricing that would make it go up more is if you want to get a large, as their large price is a bit higher than usual places, but the only other places where the cups actually get this large is Milk Tea Lab, so you definitely get a nice bang for your buck when upgrading to a "large" here, which is really more of a big gulp sized cup. Their toppings are also not the standard $.50 topping, though they are still on par with places like Sharetea, where the toppings are in the $0.7x range. If you just get a regular sized drink with a topping, the pricing will probably be the same as other spots nearby such as Teapot or Happy Lemon. Drink quality time. I've tried their brown sugar before, which was good, but nothing that would put it above any other brown sugars in the area. The basic milk tea here was also good, but nothing extraordinary, though is different than the other boba spots in this area. The passion fruit green tea here is probably my favorite, and the one I always get when I am here. The tea flavor is strong here, but so is the passion fruit flavors, but rather than one overpowering the other, they're really just overpowering my tastebuds which I'm totally fine with. The boba here is another selling point, as they by far as the QQest boba in the area, with the exception of maybe Sharetea. I probably like their boba the most for the chewiness, though sometimes, I do feel it may be a bit too chewy, but again, I digress. Boba Time is a welcomed sight for the Sun Valley Mall. With many, many boba places that have tried to make their way into the Sun Valley lineup throughout the years, this is one that will probably stick around for awhile, or at the very least, I hope it will. Prices are comparable, great staff, and well made drinks. Yes, Surf City and Uncle Sharkii offers boba, but they're not a boba place. Boba Time IS a boba place, so boba cravers should definitely give it a try. read more

I had no issues with the workers, however the product itself: I ordered a grape fruit green tea, regular, with boba and was handed to me in a few minutes, however the tea was bitter and tasted watery, and so I went back to ask for a new drink; Passion fruit green tea, it was slightly better but still had a bitter aftertaste and the boba was a little small, and hard to chew meaning it wasn't fresh! I recommend going to Hello Sweet by Gateway BLVD near ohgane, or the boba store downstairs with the pink decorations near the food court. read more

New boba store in Sunvalley Mall and while I was skeptical given it was Happy Lemon or i-Tea, I was surprised that their passion fruit green tea is actually pretty good. It's more on the sweet side than the tart side so while it may be generic, I do quite like it. They are also one of stores that allow customization in terms of sugar and ice level too which is appreciated. It looks like they also have a decent menu but since I only got the passion fruit green tea with boba this time, I'm quite keen to try their other items including the ice cream (I see you ube ice cream flavor). This is a new Boba shop located in the Sunvalley Mall located on the 2nd floor. Being there are a lot of tea shops in the area (and even in the mall we have like 2 already there) something has to make this place stand out amongst the other. They do offer taiyaki and ice cream to go with it as well as their drinks. I only tried their drinks this visit so my review will focus on that. I ordered the Mango Green Tea with Strawberry Boba. I had it 70% sweet with medium ice. Overall, it was pretty decent and not too sweet. The mango green tea was refreshing and the strawberry boba gave it that sweet syrup to complement the drink. However, I tasted a bunch of the boba syrup because it all popped when I drank through my straw. The straw they gave me was not big enough to even suck the boba. I had to pop the boba in order to get anything out, and that ruins the drinks for me. I took down a star for that inconvenience. Overall, I would look forward to trying other things here. read more

I prefer the sealed ones, but I got the large size, so maybe the machine doesn't seal this size. Anyways, it's just a minor thing. My son is pretty particular about his boba places and usually will get an oreo shake. He likes this place so I guess its pretty legit. The prices are a bit steep to add boba though. The regular jumped $2. I mean, isnt this a boba place? Why charge so much more for the balls? Otherwise, service was okay. This place is great. Came here a while ago didn't think to make a review at the time but they always have excellent customer service! Very friendly. So I came here and ordered a drink and didn't like it and went back to order a new one. I didn't say anything about it and the guy just knew I didn't like it so he made me a different drink(caramel milk tea) for free and I got to keep the original one. (Gave that one to my friend) today, I came in and they have these Sanrio character tumblers they are super cute had to buy a couple! Boba N Me is located at the Sunvalley Shopping Center. There is plenty of parking whenever I come on the weekdays. I stop by the mall sometimes after working out at the gym here, so on my last visit - I decided to finally try out this boba spot that I always walk by. I ordered the jasmine milk tea with boba. It is on the more creamy side, but it tasted like powered creamer. The milk tea had a lack of tea taste and tasted a bit on the watery side. The boba was a bit hard as well. Clean store and fast service! Previously, I had gotten their sprite mixed drinks (forgot the name) and they were very delicious, so this time I decided to opt for a fruit tea. I got a strawberry green tea w/ boba and although I can taste the strawberry, I don't taste any green tea. It just tastes like a watered down strawberry drink with boba. I think they really water down their teas so keep that in mind when ordering. However, the boba itself tastes delicious, sweet, and chewy. I'll come back to try more drinks. read more
