Visited Boba King and I think it is a decent spot to grab a drink. There menu has the standard boba options with a selection of special drinks. They also sell coffee, which isn't super common. I ordered their jasmine milk tea with lychee jelly. The drink came in a very cute cup but the tea did taste watered down and a bit lackluster. Considering that there are other boba options in the area, I will likely not come back to order the same thing but might come back to try their coffee. I do love that Boba King has a great interior space. They have a few bar style seats on the ground floor and tables upstairs. It may not be a great place to do work as the background music is a bit loud but I appreciate the space to sit and chat with friends! The cute teddy bears and the bathroom are also a big plus. In terms of service, I got my drink very fast despite the crowd that was in the store so big kudos to the staff. They have a ordering screen to place your orders but you can also order with the staff.

My taro milk tea did not have much of a flavor besides creamy milk with a hint of coconut taro. I ordered less sugar which was 50%... but it didn't really have much of a sweetness. Usually at boba tea places I order 30% sweetness and it's the perfect sugar level.

Really cute little shop with lots of Boba options. I got the Mango Tango with strawberry puree and it was delicious! They use real fruit as I could tell by all of the fruit chunks in my cup! Each one is made fresh. You just order on the touch screen and your order will be done in minutes. A lot of people came in for the banana pudding -- I didn't try it this time but I might have to get it next time I'm in town.

Lovely boba shop!!! The service was quick and easy. The store is super super adorable! And the drinks were good! The boba was a bit hard for me though.

Had a great time at Boba King! Great assortment of drinks. My friend tried the Matcha Milk Tea w/ Boba and I tried the Oolong Milk Tea w/ Boba, my must-have at most boba shops. The matcha flavor wasn't noticeable in the drink- it more so was just milk. The oolong was average, wish the milk tea was a bit more creamy. The boba itself was also just okay- a chewy/hard texture that was a little inconsistent. I liked the addition of the milk foam to the top of the drinks however! Slightly sweet, salty, and creamy! The store itself is beautiful and very inviting. Amazing decorations and great seating. The menu is pretty diverse but the prices are a bit high. Will definitely come back to try their brick toast!

This is a new boba place that opened up in ucity! Today is the second time I came today and my experience was okay. The first time I went was in April, and they did not have the tapioca pearls ready when I went. I got the special organic bear, which is a drink based on the Korean misugaru powder. I thought the price was a bit too high compared to its value... The Honey Caramel Bread and Brown Bear drink I tried today were a bit overly sweet.. The big down side was that.. Either the bubbles were way too big or the straws were too big (i think it is the former), but the bubbles kept getting stuck in the straw and I was barely able to drink my boba.... I would give 5/5 for the ambiance! Very good decoration downstairs and upstairs! Even the bathroom is very clean and modern (:

Such a cute spot! It's got flowers and cute lights with a 2nd floor where you can sit, study, or catch up with friends. Lots of big bears to hug and have pictures with. def will come back Boba : chewy, not to sweet A++ I like. It's brown and kinda like gems. Cup design: cup is stupid cute with a bear lid. Didn't need that plastic covering but very clean but I prefer to be a little less plastic waste if possible. Price: not horribly pricy but can get quite pricy for the size you're getting.

I only tried one drink the grapefruit fruit tea but have to say the flavor is good and the tea flavor is strong. Its a thumbs up from me! Its a cute packaging, insta worthy with bear ear caps. I tried the cheese foam since its not easy to make, it was good but not as strong cheese flavor. I didnt get a chance to try this time but they have honey bread and delicious croissants... I have to say it has a good cafe vibe too. The decor is super cute and modern! The drinks are very specific for the signature drinks, but they also have a classic menu too. The milk tea flavors also have k-plum and other unique ones too. Hopefully I can try them next time in one go! Recommend!

We joked that I should keep visiting different ChiCha locations around the world to compare. There were a handful of customers sitting around when we arrived weekday mid-afternoon. The staff only had one customer waiting for their drink and no one waiting to order until we came. They only have one kiosk which I think is inefficient unless their traffic isn't that high. I ordered my usual: high mountain pouchong, light ice, less sweet, grass jelly. In terms of tea flavor, I think it's pretty on par with the other ChiCha locations. If I had to rank them it'd be: Boston, New York = Philly = Hong Kong, Chicago

It was naturally sweet without tasting artificial, allowing the floral notes of the tea to come through. The Dong Ding Tea was the standout for me smooth, aromatic, and incredibly clean-tasting with a rich, roasted finish that lingered pleasantly after each sip. It's the kind of tea you can slowly enjoy and appreciate. If you're looking for authentic, high quality tea instead of overly sweet bubble tea, ChiCha San Chen is definitely worth visiting. I'll absolutely be back to explore more of their menu!

They have a huge selection of drinks, so there's something for everyone. The service really stood out to me. I had a small issue while using tap-to-pay. I accidentally added extra boba after starting the payment process, and another charge was mistakenly processed. The employee immediately got her manager involved when I expressed concern about being charged twice. The manager explained that the extra charge would most likely fall off automatically and reassured me that if it didn't, I could call the shop and they would take care of it. Thankfully, she was absolutely right--the duplicate charge was refunded without any issues. Looking back, it was partly my fault because I tend to rush through payment and make additions at the last minute. A little tip for future customers: finalize your order before tapping your phone or card to pay. Overall, the staff handled the situation professionally, my drink was delicious, and the customer service left a positive impression. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm on that side of town.

They definitely seem consistent, which I really appreciate. I came with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, and wow... this place was packed. Even with the crowd, the staff stayed friendly and worked quickly, so we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks. One thing I still love is the seating. They have giant plushies sitting in the booths, so if you're by yourself, you're not just awkwardly staring at an empty seat across from you. Maybe I'm the only one who appreciates that, but I think it's a cute touch. The matcha here is the real deal. It's bright green, fragrant, and has that rich, earthy flavor with just enough natural bitterness that you know they're using quality matcha. A lot of places advertise matcha, but this one actually delivers. I ordered one of their matcha desserts with ice cream, and it was creamy, refreshing, and let the matcha flavor shine instead of burying it under sugar. My only complaint is that it was pretty warm inside. It was a hot summer day, and I honestly couldn't tell if the air conditioning was running or if it was just fans. Either way, it wasn't very cool inside. Thankfully I had ice cream, so it didn't bother me too much, but it's something to keep in mind if you're stopping by on a really hot day. Overall, another great visit. Friendly staff, consistently high-quality matcha, and a fun atmosphere. If you're a matcha lover, this is still one of my favorite spots in Chinatown.

I personally thought the matcha one was the best. The service was quick and informative. And I loved the little booths they had, it was adorable. That aside, I do think the drinks are mediocre. I ordered their most popular, Mango Matcha and their Hojicha Latte. Sadly I was disappointed, the mango matcha was VERY sweet, but the texture was creamy. I just couldn't get over the overpowering sweetness of the mango puree, but that's my personal preference. The mango flavor itself wasn't bad! Maybe half sweet would be the way to go, Im not sure if they do adjustments. If you love yuzu, I don't recommend their yuzu soft serve HOWEVER their matcha soft serve is pretty yummy Their Hojicha was watery...I really hoped it would be better. I don't recommend it. I was overheated from being in the sun for 20 minutes, so that poster was very appealing to me. I kept thinking about it throughout my meal at Sky Café. Therefore, my friend and I truly trotted over afterwards. When we were deciding what drink to get, we noticed a young guy with an elderly grandma who bought many snacks from their shelves and fridge, so my friend and I went to browse too. We don't go to Vietnamese cafes and markets much, so many things we saw there looked interesting to us. Unfortunately we couldn't try everything, so we just window shopped. My friend ordered the Kumquat Thai Tea. It tastes like what it sounds like but that actually bothered my friend lol. When I tried it, I was surprised by how it's not as refreshing as I expected. I think the Thai tea base could be more clear. The cup wasn't sealed properly, so tea kept spilling as we walked. I didn't want to get the wintermelon tea, because I saw prebatched bottles in the fridge, so I would question what's the difference ordering with them vs grabbing a bottle myself. Therefore I decided to order the cane juice hoping that it will be good for the summer heat. They said they ran out, so I got the citrus lemongrass tea instead. I'm amused they gave a slice of orange. My drink was more refreshing, and it's a more unique flavor than generic cafes out there so I'm pleased. It wasn't too sweet. The café has cute wooden benches and tables. The selection of Vietnamese snacks were intriguing and should be legit given the old grandma bought a lot. Even though I don't know how realistic it is for me to come again, but I'd want to!
