Before walking to the train station to head back home to Washington, D.C., I stopped by Mr. Rabbit per a local's recommendation. The entire experience was excellent. Despite a line, it moved quickly thanks to the efficient and friendly staff. Going around lunch time, I ordered their lavender lemonade and focaccia ricotta open-faced sandwich, which was amazing! It comes with gigandes beans, peppa dew peppers, and chimichurri. So good! There's indoor and outdoor seating with outlets nearby and wifi. read more

I went here about a week from each other. Each time the service was good, accommodating, and helpful. There are enough tables inside, but it is not too large, however, there are plenty of tables outside (perfect on good and warm days). First time I got espresso tonic and it was well made (got a lemon curd danish as well). The second time I got grapefruit espresso tonic, strawberry matcha latte with pandan cold foam, and a pastry. I didn't taste much grapefruit in the espresso tonic, but I still liked it. My daughter got the strawberry matcha latte and said it was good. They also serve some house made sandwiches, maybe I will try those next time. read more

Order: chia pudding -- espresso tonic -- iced vanilla matcha -- brown sugar cardamom with rose cold foam. Great coffee shop. Small cute ambiance (bentwood chairs and plants) We went on a Sunday late morning so it was pretty busy and loud (as one expects). Cute outdoor seating. The chia pudding was good, came topped with condensed milk which is a little sweet for me. Matcha was perfect and light. Cold brew is not my cup of coffee but it's good and you should definitely try it. Most importantly tho they serve ESPRESSO TONICS. read more

Quiet in there, no one in line, unsure of what I'd eat, I looked up at a chalkboard of specials and read "It's Back! Open faced focaccia sandwich." So the idea of a menu item being back implies that it was beloved in the past, and now everyone will be rattled by its return. So I'm thinking yes I'll do this please. This was a Really Unique Toast. The Kind of toast that makes you wonder what else is possible. Beautiful bouncy oily focaccia. What even is that bean who knows. It said on the menu but I forget. It all works so well together. I enjoyed this and some catching up with my friend in temperamental weather outside. A woman's dog bit my foot while walking to my table, and then I watched it do the same to everyone else who walked by, and I couldn't help but wonder how long it was gonna take this lady to eat her yogurt parfait and keep it pushing. read more

This place is hop-ening! We were in the mood to enjoy the outdoors as it was a lot more temperate this day than it has been lately. Took the opportunity to check out this place - solid coffee/matcha/little treats for all critters! It's a decent sized place with small tables inside to enjoy. They also have outdoor seating. We ordered the black sesame latte, a matcha, and their ricotta focaccia toast topped with fennel and cherries. Thoroughly enjoyed everything and the service was great! On the pricier side for an everyday coffee (they brew Elixr) but worth it for a nice weekend treat! Enjoy! read more

Lovely little coffee place!! Not that much seating but decent study place. It does get a bit crowded so keep that in mind. I love their spring collections and they have yummy coffee. The cold foam was delish, but I think their coffee and lattes are better. read more

SO cute inside and out, delicious drinks, and even better pastries, but DONT SIT ON THEIR HEATED PATIO IN THE COLD! Came here after trying practically every coffee shop in a 10 block radius and seeing that the were all packed, and I'm a little glad they were because I never would've ended up here. I had their seasonal strawberry and pandan matcha, which tasted more like a strawberry milk than a matcha but was so good that I didn't really care. I also got an almond croissant, which was flakey and delicious despite being cold (they can't warm up pastries). We sat in the enclosed patio across the street at Sally's, which said it was heated, but only one of the small space heaters worked (not the one at our bench). They have heated seats, but we made the genius decision to come here during the blizzard and warm seats were definitely not enough to cut the 10 degree weather. Highly recommend avoiding in the winter, but I bet it'll be cute in the spring! read more

Headed over for a morning matcha on a Thursday at around 11:30 am. The interior is very cute with the pink tiles and dark green contrast in other decor. I was interested the most in their featured lattes, was able to order immediately and got my matcha in about 5 minutes. Lavender Matcha - One of their featured lattes and it had a good sweetness level to it. The lavender flavor from the syrup was pretty light, I could taste some hints of it which paired well with the matcha flavor. I would have wanted a stronger overall matcha flavor though as the milk overpowered most of the drink. Some of their other drinks sounded pretty interesting so I would go back to try some others but not sure if I'd want to try a matcha there again. read more

I ordered an iced strawberry latte with cold foam for less than $6 which I thought was a good price. When it came out, I had to put my lid on myself and straw. I stirred it and tried it. It tasted okay, more strawberry and milk than matcha. I didn't really taste much of a matcha taste. The cold foam I think was pandan and it was really good. They said the cold foam is of no extra cost. It was pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon and all the seats were taken by people working on their laptops. The outdoor seating was nice as well. read more

I love Mr Rabbit so much, every time I go back to Philadelphia it's my first stop. They have a bunch of unique bakery items and coffee items to try and the staff are extremely friendly. It is usually impossible to get a table, but it is amazing to sit outside in the summer. read more

Mr Rabbit was a quiet cozy spot - I stopped by in a Friday early afternoon and got a latte to go - salted caramel with oat milk. It was pretty quick and the employees were nice. Honestly it didn't have much flavor to me, but it was very creamy. There's just not a bunch of outlets and I didn't see any wifi if you were looking for a spot to work. Have I been here before? Yes. Have I been here many times? Yes. Will I continue to go here? Yes and all of this is not a revolutionary. We know that I will go here many many more times in the future however, it just keeps getting better and better today I was greeted with a bunch of new pastries, and I couldn't say no to the pistachio Cream croissant that was just calling my name. If you haven't gone yet, you just need to go here already. Everything is top of the knowledge. The service is fantastic. The food is fantastic. The drinks are fantastic. We were lucky enough to be right next to this place which is dangerous. It's super cozy, has great coffee and staff as well. The outdoor seating next to the large windows is great in warm weather. In particular the cold brew was great value at around $3. We asked for a glass or mug for it and since the sizes didn't line up they gave us a refill. Overall a great spot. read more

Went to Mr. Rabbit with my wife on Labor Day looking for our caffeine fix. Great spot located on a corner, super cozy inside with some tables and an array of tables outside for beautiful weather. I got an Ube Matcha, loved it as it's not a menu item I see a lot in CT. My wife got a coffee with an Ube cold foam, very enjoyable as well. We took our drinks down to one of the squares down the street to check out the dog park, great spot! read more

I got an iced oatmilk lavender latte and it hit the spot. I thought there was the perfect amount of lavender flavor in this latte and it didn't overwhelm the entire drink. The oatmilk was somehow perfectly bland while adding the milky aspect. The espresso itself didn't stand out - but it's what you'd expect in a latte Limited seating inside, but there were quite a few people sitting outside at tables because the day was nice! read more

Always love a stop at Mr. Rabbit! The drinks are great and all of the food they bring in is from great spots around the city (Essen, taco heart, etc). Big fan of their spritzes. Perfect post-run stop for an iced drink and pastry! If I lived here, I'd stop by all the time. I went with the matcha tonic with grapefruit and the strawberry Danish. Both were incredible - the matcha/grapefruit combo was top-tier, the Danish had the perfect crisp/chew, with a generous dollop of strawberry and cream. My cousin's chocolate croissant, however, tasted pretty stale. We ended up accidentally dropping it on the ground anyway. We went on a weekend morning, which meant a long line out the door, but it moved pretty fast. Like a kid in a candy store, I was torn between the pop tart, the tomato pie, and the Danish but I was happy with my choice. Almost everyone in line was ordering the strawberry matcha latte - matcha is truly having its moment right now. They also had some sort of whitefish on a bagel, as well as mango sticky rice chia pudding. There were some seats/tables inside, though with the line of people coming in and out, it didn't look like an ideal working atmosphere. Plenty of tables outside on the sidewalk. read more

I've been to Mr. Rabbit a bunch of times, but now that I live even *closer* to this spot, I've been three times in three weeks and may be addicted. I love the vibes! Corporate hotties in a line! Post-run river trail hotties in a line! Dogs! Stollers! Everyone loves the wabbit (no one calls it this...) and for good reason. - I get a small drip coffee every time I go and it's always perfect. It's also less than $3 pre-tip so just call me thrifty Megan (no one calls me this...) - They have all kinds of other trendy yummy drinks as well if that's the vibe you're feeling. - The PASTRY CASE is like something from a dream. I ordered a blueberry tart recently that slapped. I want to get a poptart but I am afraid of getting CRUMBS on myself in front of all the HOTTIES. - The staff here is efficient and, though I've referenced the out the door line, I've never waited more than like 7 minutes for coffee. Just hop in the line and you'll be fine. You could spend your whole day on this corner enjoying Mr Rabbit for your coffee needs until wine needs beckon and you head across the street to Sally. Cute neighborhood cafe. Passed by today around midday and it was completely slammed (line out the door). The tomato pie was delicious, but would have been perfect if it was warmed up. I ordered the honey almond maple latte and asked the barista if the almond flavor was really strong to which she replied no (important to me because I don't like almond syrup). Unfortunately for me the almond was VERY strong, but it's on me for ordering it! I'd definitely return again and try a different coffee order. read more

I personally believe this spot is over hyped. Their matcha was mediocre and didn't have any real strawberries which was a slight let down. The tomato pie was delicious though and would go back, they allowed us to add toppings which added more flavor. read more

I absolutely love this place. It's one of my official treat yourself rituals. They have great matcha, ube, and coconut drinks. The tarts and the open-face focaccia sandwiches make a great accompaniment to them. Fair warning, they can be crowded at peak times (the morning and lunch rush) making it tough to sit and work here. But, in the afternoons it can be a bit more amenable to a nice cafe experience. Service is great, just be sure to ask for utensils if you need them. read more

We came on a nice sunny day! The inside space is a bit small, but there is some seating and there were people inside working. There was also additional tables and chairs available outside, so that was nice! There are plenty of pastries and treats available for purchase. My friends and I grabbed one of the Focaccia Sandwiches (I think it had Ricotta and some other toppings on it); I enjoyed it and thought it tasted quite good. We also picked up one of their tarts, and I liked that too. As for my drink, I got an Iced Vanilla Bourbon latte. The coffee tasted good, but I'm not sure if the "bourbon" part of the flavor really came through. Still delicious! I would be interested to come back and try their honey maple flavor. Overall, this is a cute cafe with some tasty drinks and treats. I would recommend! Also, there is a bathroom inside available for patrons, though small. read more

I have visited Mr. Rabbit twice now, once on a weekend and once on a weekday. I love this place so much--the only con I can think of is the constant line out of the door on weekends. Even at 9 am on a random Tuesday a line was beginning to form so be sure to budget a few minutes to wait to order (however the line moves quick!) Every single pastry / food item I've tried has hit the spot. Highlights for me are probably the homemade pop tart (thick / perfectly flaky / sweet) and the smashed cucumber bagel (basically a lox bagel / I don't like when bagels are over packed and impossible to eat and I felt that this bagel was well proportioned for my taste) There is seating available inside that fills up relatively quickly and some tables outside as well. Wouldn't recommend trying to do work here during peak hours on the weekend due to the amount of foot traffic shuffling past the seats. read more

Always have a great time at Mr. Rabbit. Very interesting assortment of drinks that involve matcha, tonic waters, lemonades, fruit pairings, etc. in addition to coffee staples. Will never run out of things to try! For my first experience, the barista gave me numerous recs based on my preferences, and I ended up with a fizzy matcha lemonade. No complaints here. I've also had the chance to try their tomato pie which was delicious; they're able to source their small treats from other vendors and they all look great. The space can get pretty busy so be sure to show up early if you plan to get a table! read more

one of my favorite coffee shops in Philly the staff here are all so friendly and I've never had a bad cup of coffee here before. their special drinks are also great and on rotation (get the matcha passionfruit tonic whenever they bring it back!) and I love getting one of the tomato pies, though I do think it could be warmed up. my go to is just an almond milk latte and sometimes I'll add the complimentary honey simple syrup to it. vibes are also cozy and they have free wifi! read more

Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience.
