Strawberry Matcha and Banana Bread latte
    Theertha D.

Went back in for my Banana Bread Matcha and it was delicious as always. Also got an Oatmeal Raisin cookie to go with it. The cookie was soft and sweet. Staff were great as always. Will be back again for my Matcha!

I love the minimalist design of the place! They have a limited seating area, so they don't allow laptops or tablets on the tables. They also have a good selection of pastries. I tried the mango matcha, it was both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I hadn't even thought of a combination like that before visiting this cafe!

I have mixed thoughts! The drinks were good. Not the strongest matcha flavor for the price but still good. I got a slice of the fresh carrot cake *not pictured* and it was a little dense. I wish that it carried more flavor. If you are grabbing a coffee this is the perfect pairing. It's a cutesy drop in place but not really the best seating options.

Coffee zeit is my go to coffee shop in Philly! I'm so lucky I live close to it so I can visit all the time. The matcha is of great quality and crafted with care - sifted, hand whisked, and poured. I also am OBSESSED with their chocolate brioche pastry. It's so difficult for me to not get it every time I come in. Their baristas are incredibly kind and friendly - always in a good mood. There's lots of seating and positive music playing. Just overall great vibe!

DRINKS They have a relatively wide selection of classic and seasonal drinks-- including mango matchas, pumpkin spice lattes, and more. I opted for their classic matcha latte with sweetener. Next time around, I would probably get their specialty drinks as their classic items with sweetener cost the same. FOOD Though I didn't get any this time around, they offer a wide array of pastries for purchase. SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly! When I visited, the line was consistently to the door, but the staff filter through the line quickly! The wait time is also very short (less than 10 minutes after ordering). AMBIANCE Four counter seats are available at the windows. There are also about 8-10 tables for two inside. There is a no iPad/laptop policy on weekends and holidays, so just be wary of that if you're looking to get work done. Many customers were catching up with friends, reading, or journaling. PARKING Paid street parking is available at a limited capacity.

Really good strawberry matcha latte! Mine was made with oat milk and semi sweet. I like that they give you options to control sweetness to your liking. A bit pricey, but a nice treat.

Came here based on a recommendation from a friend on my visit to Philly. The woman who took my order was not friendly lol. They had an interesting and semi-extensive fall menu; I was interested in the German toffee flavor. Asked if their syrups were made in house and she defensively responded that it depended on which drink I wanted to know about. I rephrased to ask which syrups were made in house and was told only pumpkin and banana, so I went with an iced banana latte. Wasn't impressed. Tasted like a slightly watered down latte with banana. Many people were working/chatting inside. The space was nice, tidy, and well lit. Bathroom was clean and tidy as well. Could defo see how it'd be a cute place to meet up with a friend and chat, but based on the drink quality and staff interaction I had, I would not return.

This coffee/tea shop was literally a breath of fresh air! After a hot day, walking around Old City. we stopped in here for a drink. The AC was cold. The Scandinavian decor gives it a cool, comfortable vibe. The staff were knowledgeable about the drinks and very friendly. The person who waited on us explain the Matcha and he was spot on. I had the mango Matcha with oat milk. The Matcha was smooth flavorful without giving that grassy taste the mango gave it a nice flavor i ordered my drink semi sweet. It was cool and refreshing. Seating is available inside. The chairs were comfortable. The bathroom was clean.

Love! Staff here is really knowledgeable and helpful. Great coffee, great vibes, great menu options. If you're a fan of the currently trendy strawberry matcha - this (I've heard) is the best of the best. I really enjoyed my almond milk latte and appreciate that they serve everything in clear glass cups. Line moves fairly quick and they have a strong selection of pastries. I will be back to work and enjoy a delicious sip when I am in the wonderful Old City neighborhood.

Hot chocolate and Pistachio milk Matcha

Coffee Zeit is mega popular for their Matcha and it's combo with Mango and Strawberry etc (there were at least 15 people in line on a Sunday morning ten minutes after they open) but if you happen to be a fan of hot chocolate like me, then try theirs - it is one of the richest, creamiest I have had recently. I tried their Matcha in Pistachio milk but the milk tasted very artificial.

This newly opened coffee shop was pretty crowded on late Friday morning. It's clean and spacious. Order came out fast. It offers not only coffee but also various tea and matcha. They have non dairy options for my cappuccino and latte. I ordered decaf cappuccino and matcha latte with oat milk. Beautiful presentation. The pastries look inviting too.

Good coffee, it's not anything special. I also tried the spinach and feta pastry which was very soft and flavorful. Clean shop, nice employees!

This place continues to be a reliable spot with good service and good drinks. I truly wish them the best and keep up their wonderful job! I love their seasonal drinks and appreciate their consistency in their offerings and service!

I ordered a green iced tea which was delicious, and then sat and worked. Wi-fi is solid here, and the outlets are plentiful. I especially like having seats with backs and sizable tables at the right height... when you're working from cafes the small details make a difference. Even though the espresso machine was down, the staff were still friendly and pretty calm about the whole ordeal (although some customers were not). Appreciate a friend face, a quiet space to work, and a nice vibe to relax in for the day. Will stop by again when I'm in Old City!

The sandwiches were tasty, although the bread was a bit too crispy. I usually love crispy bread, but this was very, very crispy and slightly overdone for my preference. The biggest disappointment was the egg -- it had that pre-made/frozen egg texture and appearance, which I didn't expect from this type of establishment. Overall, I'd still return for the coffee and the cute atmosphere.

This station is where a line naturally forms, so I'd be aware of this as I see this could be stressful for the baristas went taking/handing out orders. The matcha was smooth, a little overpowered by whatever syrup you add to it. They told me they batch make the matcha with vanilla syrup that cannot be taken out. So any add ons is too much in my opinion. The color was a good deep shade of green though. I prefer having this problem with my matcha over only being able to taste milk. A problem I've had with so many other coffee shops. Syrups are made in house!
