I haven't had lavender ice cream in years! It is extra creamy which I love. I may have to go back tomorrow, it's just that good. Service is great. The vibe is cheerful.
Stopped in to grab coffees and a pastry. They have seating inside and one table out front with lots of coffee options to choose from. The pastry case had lots of yummy options as well and the Almond was delicious. Great service and great coffee
This Menagerie location is so much better than the NoLibs one! The space is so serene, filled with plants and I love the wooden trunks that can be used as a table! Also - they make one of the best almond croissants in the city! It has the perfect crunch of a twice baked croissant and inside has a soft and delicious almond filling!
Cute little coffee spot with ample seating and a nice vibe. There is a good mix of people working and just chatting with friends. They have a nice mix of music playing. That being said, service here is a little spotty. The cashier was singing and would not be stopped to take other people's orders even as she is looking at you. Nothing too terrible, but annoying if you are in a rush.
The matcha here was great, as other reviews have informed me! I also tried their breakfast sandwich (ham, egg, and cheese) and thought it was a perfect easy quick breakfast. There's a good amount of seating with outlets all around, so it was easy for me to work here. This will absolutely be a go to for me!

I spent three days in Philly for a conference and this was the best tasting and cheapest cup of coffee I had, and it was not even close on either end. The drip coffee had body to it and acidity, something that could not be said for any other coffee I had all week. But that's what you get for drinking coffee from a hotel or convention center with an emphasis on la colombe beans...but I digress. The actual space was nice. Seating was a little tight with a mix of folks doing work or just catching up. A good place to sip coffee and just unwind a bit and catch your breath. On the, would my partner like this scale this is a five out of five and since it would be a five out of five for her that makes it a five out of five for me.
Terrible service from the short girl with the piercings. Asked for a triple shot and instead of offering a solution she said she can only do a quad. I asked if she could put the extra shot in a separate cup and she refused. I had to go next door to olivier cafe for the extra shot. Do yourselves a favor and visit Olivier cafe or Tu Rinconcito, both are only a few steps away.
This is one of the best vanilla cappuccino I've been able to have! I highly recommend this spot and will continue to come back. A great spot to complete some work. However the breakfast sandwich wasn't the best but the banana bread was delicious!
I just ordered the Honey Spiced Cortado (made with oatmilk, and comes w/ a ginger square). The batista was helpful in explaining the drink to me before I ordered. It contains turmeric and ginger and she let me know that it's very heavy on the ginger (which I like, but it isn't for everyone). The place is really cute and larger than it seems when you first walk in. There is a nice sized seating are behind the counter. The seating atea has outlets so it is convenient for days when you're working out of the office or studying. The shop has a great vibe and would also be a good spot to grab coffee w/ friends or to just chill. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.
Lovely, cozy space with decent seating. My cold brew was good - not the best I've ever had but nice and smooth. I enjoyed the ham and cheese on a sourdough english muffin which was a perfect little morning snack.

The drinks taste really good and they don't charge for flavoring. They have vanilla and simple syrup where they have cream and sugar & you can add to your order based on your preference if needed. My Husband and I both got lattes, and they were delicious. Very cozy location and setting.

I tried a pour over and a cold brew. The handpour menu rotates through interesting single-origin picks with fun tasting notes (the Colombian's "Grapey!" description made me smile), and the cup was bright and clean. The cold brew was smooth and easy to drink without any bitterness. Prices are fair for Philly, with drip at $2.75 and handpours running about $4-6. The pastry case is a highlight. Croissants, almond and ham & cheese options, morning buns, cookies, and a blueberry jam beignet were all calling my name. There's also a small food menu with breakfast sandwiches and a smashed chickpea salad, plus bags of beans and merch if you want to take some home. Relaxed vibe, thoughtful coffee, great pastries. Cute little eatery with a few tables inside. They offer some baked goods and delicious coffee. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk -- it was really good, but I didn't realize how small the size was and was surprised by the additional $1.25 charge for what seemed like just a few splashes of oat milk. The sandwiches were tasty, although the bread was a bit too crispy. I usually love crispy bread, but this was very, very crispy and slightly overdone for my preference. The biggest disappointment was the egg -- it had that pre-made/frozen egg texture and appearance, which I didn't expect from this type of establishment. Overall, I'd still return for the coffee and the cute atmosphere. read more

DRINKS We ordered their iced Matcha latte which comes pre-sweetened. It was frothy and not too sweet, the ice-to-drink ratio was a bit higher than I would have liked. Their chai latte was really good, sweet but not too sweet, and creamy. The spices are strong, which is a plus. FOOD They offer a variety of pastries and sandwiches. My friend ordered their ham and egg sandwich, which was a little dry in regards to the bread, and the sauce was a little bit too liquidy and vinegary. Nevertheless, despite its size, it's very filling. AMBIANCE There is ample seating inside the store for working from home or studying and is also a great place to catch up with friends. Ambient music plays in the store, but isn't too loud sometimes conversations can be a little bit on the other side but nothing overwhelming. SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly. PARKING Paid street parking is available at a limited capacity. read more

Cute coffee shop nestled in old town Philly. Although the street looks empty, the coffee shop is bustling with plenty of students, young professionals and tourists. I kept it simple and ordered a hot American which came out hot and served in a mug. The staff were friendly and the sitting area was clean. I enjoyed my stay and will happily drop back in again for my next caffeine fix. read more

We came in pretty early for a cortado and a chocolate croissant hoping for something good based on all the raving reviews of the place. Unfortunately, the cortado came out lukewarm, and was difficult to even drink. The croissants are also not worth the four dollars, because they are tough and hard to chew. Would not recommend this place to hardcore coffee lovers. read more

Lovely little spot in downtown Philly where you can meet friends or enjoy a coffee in this cozy spot. My mocha iced latte was delicious with creamy milk and not overly sweet mocha syrup; you could really taste their espresso roast and savor the flavors. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and quick to deliver our order on a busy Saturday. The restroom is in the back and gender beauties. It was very clean. The seating is tight and it is a bit loud for studying or work, but if you get there when it isn't busy, you can tuck yourself away in a corner. read more
Great place to sit and work or just talk with a friend! I was catching up with a friend and we needed somewhere to sit and talk after our lunch reservation and noticed Menagerie nearby. Super cute decor, lots of cute dogs walking by or with their owners while they ordered (we noticed as we left there was a dog park next door). The iced matcha was delicious! read more

Got a cappuccino from here after a heavy breakfast. Definitely what I needed to get me out of a food coma and start off the rest of my day in the city. There were a lot of people in here doing work. Loved that they used local beans for the shot. read more
We had one day in Philadelphia and my fiancé knows I need my morning coffee We dropped off our luggage and a person at the storage spot recommended this cute coffee shop to us. We were in and out pretty quickly, but after I ordered the latte, I saw the pastries on display and the almond croissant looked too good to pass up. And I'm glad I didn't! It had so much filling and the gooey filling with the flakey outside was perfect. It was a great start to our big day of site seeing. read more
Surprisingly small menu for such a craft driven drip, us four guys dropped in for a quick afternoon blues killer and was surprised by the purest of menus with only a few syrups, chai, and teas. I went with a cinnamon honey latte, was fine enough though nothing outstanding. Service was timely for how busy it was, bathroom was very clean, noticed a huge troop trot in soon after us which makes sense given the chai! Wow! Sampled a friend's chai who actually couldn't do it, way too spicy for his white soul, that rich clove heat is righteous goodness for winter hugs! My and my other buddy went mad for it. That's the rare refined tea few know. read more
Quite a nice coffee shop serving both Elixr Coffee and Dogwood Coffee at the time that I visited. I had a pour over of one of the Elixr coffees. It was very good. There was a good amount of seating and the barista was very friendly. My friend's latte looked very good as well. read more

Visited this shop while on a coffee hop day with my friends in Philly. There were different aspects to things I didn't like too much about this place. First off we went inside and my friends were first in the line when I asked if I could use the restroom, to which I got the response and I quote "It's over there... but it's locked." So I'm trying to ask for the key but being completely ignored. I thought maybe the cashier person was just busy and so I tried with someone else who worked there, and they just walked right past me without even looking. The place was quite busy, however, it was still really bad service in my opinion. Of course I just gave up and went to the back of the line to order my coffee. I ordered a caffè macchiato and unfortunately did not like it. The coffee was too bitter for me. The latte art was beautiful though. The location itself is ok. They have a cute little table outside where we sat down. Honestly unfortunately this one was the only disappointing one of the 4 coffee shops we went to that day, however I'm still glad I tried it. Probably will not return. read more

Is the cafe dog friendly?
Yes (kind of). I've seen people bring their dogs inside while they order, but I haven't seen anyone stay and sit with their dog. They usually have a dog water bowl outside, but there are only 2 chairs for outdoor seating.
