My coworker wanted a boba spot that had chai and I found Mr. Wish in the ChinaTown area. They looked popular with constant delivery services picking up drinks. A few small tables available inside. My coworker ordered a medium Chai Latte ($5.25) and I ordered a large Honey Lemon Green Tea ($6.50). I also got a Custard Waffle ($5.00) for us to share. I didn't get any toppings but my coworker complimented their boba and how fresh and chewy it is. I think it can be accredited to how busy they are so their boba is probably fresh. I really enjoyed my drink as well. It was light and refreshing. The custard waffle came with 4 pieces and shaped like a cute paw. It had a mochi like batter and the custard filling was a nice touch of sweetness without being too sweet. Yum! We were both hungry so it was a nice snack to sustain us until our next meal. The staff here was super friendly. I thought it was super sweet when the warned me that the waffles were hot and wrapped it with extra napkins so my hand doesn't get hurt. It was so thoughtful. The products are slightly above average, but it's the genuine service that inspired me to bump them up to 5 stars.

I'm from California where there is plenty of boba shops and this one is more aligned to Quickly's. The fruit tea does tastes like they use real fruit but the flavor is very watered down tasting that they probably don't use too much real fruit juice with their teas. The oolong tea was decent but the boba pearls were overcooked and mushy. Not very pleasant. Overall this was average and probably won't be back. I would definitely skip their boba pearls, not good. Service was fast and not really much of a line. More of a quick service place with a few seats.

Best boba I've ever had! The tapioca balls are made to perfection, never experienced anything like it. Plus the staff is so nice and the ambiance is a great place to meet up with friends or a cute date.

The workers were not pleasant. They didn't even try to be nice. The cocoa milk tea had lumps of chocolate in it and it was nasty. There are seats but the tables are not wiped down.

Second time to have boba. As my bff told me, you don't know boba until you try Mr. Wish. So true! I love the flavors, service, and ability to choose a level of sweetness. Some days you want the sugar to take an effect on your mood and others you just want to test the subtle flavors of the drink. Love Mr. Wish boba!

While eating next-door at DVR, the waiter lady came in with a mango smoothie. It looks good. I asked her if I could get one and she said it was next-door, I guess if you don't know this place is there you won't find it. Sitting back in a rundown shopping area of the plaza I could barely find it walking in the building. Once in there, I was greeted by a young very nice lady that went over some of the items they had and I have to say they were both great. I got the mango smoothie and my friend got the coffee milk tea.

It's a cute store and in Chinatown. There are so many boba stores, but Mr. Wish had such soft sweet bobas. It was like they had just finished making them! The service was okay, not fast. We are hooked on Mr. Wish now!

Tried the coffee with boba. Had a great kick to it and a wonderful complement to a hot Sunday afternoon. Would come back again.

I have not heard of Mr. Wish, but my cousin who lives in Philly recommended this since we don't have this in New Jersey. This is probably the best tapioca pearls I've had in bubble tea. Soft and chewy and big. The milk tea is better than most but I think the tea flavor is kind of weak, which I find pretty common for most bubble tea place.

Yeah I've never heard of this place before coming to the east coast, but I'd say that it's a strong competitor to Yi Fang for fruit tea. The Apple Tea was actually quite good. It had a super strong apple flavor, as if I was drinking straight up apple juice. Like freshly squeezed apple juice, not store-bought apple juice. In addition, the tea flavor was also pronounced. You can definitely tell that they're using real tea in here. Toppings were delightful. We got some rainbow jelly and they went well with the drink. There were real apple slices in the drink as well to add some texture and crunch. Only thing was I found the drink to be sour, but that's what you get when you're using real fruit. Maybe the apples could've been fresher? It was actually quite busy when I came, so the venue became a bit cramped inside. Tons of locals were here to order drinks, as well as a solid amount of white people (in Chinatown). If they've got the business of the locals, you know it's gonna be pretty good. Looking back, I would recommend Mr Wish for some quality fruit tea.

Favorite milk tea place because their milk tea actually has tea flavor! It's not too sweet and the boba is soft. The oolong soft serve with 3Q (egg pudding, lychee jelly, boba) is dangerous! Sooooo good! The tea flavor is very strong. I would get this all the time!

    Orange Grapefruit Green Tea
    Shirley L.

The service was quick even though it gets busy. I was told they are known for their fruit drinks. I got an orange grapefruit green tea, it was tasted like most grapefruit green tea from other bubble tea stores except for the topping of jelly for this specific drink cannot be changed. I wasn't a fan of the jelly but I wouldn't mind giving other drinks a try since they do have lots of options on their menu. The Tieguanyin (Oolong) soft serve is definitely a MUST try. It was very flavorful like you actually like the Oolong taste. It also went well with the bubbles. I would definitely come back just for the soft serve!

I tried their fruit tea but it was very regular. Nothing about it stood out to me. I think Yi Fang has better fruit tea. However, I'm obsessed with their oolong soft serve with boba! It's so perfect for a sunny day. They don't have it in every location so you might wanna check their individual location Facebook page for updates.

We joked that I should keep visiting different ChiCha locations around the world to compare. There were a handful of customers sitting around when we arrived weekday mid-afternoon. The staff only had one customer waiting for their drink and no one waiting to order until we came. They only have one kiosk which I think is inefficient unless their traffic isn't that high. I ordered my usual: high mountain pouchong, light ice, less sweet, grass jelly. In terms of tea flavor, I think it's pretty on par with the other ChiCha locations. If I had to rank them it'd be: Boston, New York = Philly = Hong Kong, Chicago

It was naturally sweet without tasting artificial, allowing the floral notes of the tea to come through. The Dong Ding Tea was the standout for me smooth, aromatic, and incredibly clean-tasting with a rich, roasted finish that lingered pleasantly after each sip. It's the kind of tea you can slowly enjoy and appreciate. If you're looking for authentic, high quality tea instead of overly sweet bubble tea, ChiCha San Chen is definitely worth visiting. I'll absolutely be back to explore more of their menu!

I accidentally added extra boba after starting the payment process, and another charge was mistakenly processed. The employee immediately got her manager involved when I expressed concern about being charged twice. The manager explained that the extra charge would most likely fall off automatically and reassured me that if it didn't, I could call the shop and they would take care of it. Thankfully, she was absolutely right--the duplicate charge was refunded without any issues. Looking back, it was partly my fault because I tend to rush through payment and make additions at the last minute. A little tip for future customers: finalize your order before tapping your phone or card to pay. Overall, the staff handled the situation professionally, my drink was delicious, and the customer service left a positive impression. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm on that side of town.

They definitely seem consistent, which I really appreciate. I came with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, and wow... this place was packed. Even with the crowd, the staff stayed friendly and worked quickly, so we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks. One thing I still love is the seating. They have giant plushies sitting in the booths, so if you're by yourself, you're not just awkwardly staring at an empty seat across from you. Maybe I'm the only one who appreciates that, but I think it's a cute touch. The matcha here is the real deal. It's bright green, fragrant, and has that rich, earthy flavor with just enough natural bitterness that you know they're using quality matcha. A lot of places advertise matcha, but this one actually delivers. I ordered one of their matcha desserts with ice cream, and it was creamy, refreshing, and let the matcha flavor shine instead of burying it under sugar. My only complaint is that it was pretty warm inside. It was a hot summer day, and I honestly couldn't tell if the air conditioning was running or if it was just fans. Either way, it wasn't very cool inside. Thankfully I had ice cream, so it didn't bother me too much, but it's something to keep in mind if you're stopping by on a really hot day. Overall, another great visit. Friendly staff, consistently high-quality matcha, and a fun atmosphere. If you're a matcha lover, this is still one of my favorite spots in Chinatown.

I just couldn't get over the overpowering sweetness of the mango puree, but that's my personal preference. The mango flavor itself wasn't bad! Maybe half sweet would be the way to go, Im not sure if they do adjustments. I was overheated from being in the sun for 20 minutes, so that poster was very appealing to me. I kept thinking about it throughout my meal at Sky Café. Therefore, my friend and I truly trotted over afterwards. When we were deciding what drink to get, we noticed a young guy with an elderly grandma who bought many snacks from their shelves and fridge, so my friend and I went to browse too. We don't go to Vietnamese cafes and markets much, so many things we saw there looked interesting to us. Unfortunately we couldn't try everything, so we just window shopped. My friend ordered the Kumquat Thai Tea. It tastes like what it sounds like but that actually bothered my friend lol. When I tried it, I was surprised by how it's not as refreshing as I expected. I think the Thai tea base could be more clear. The cup wasn't sealed properly, so tea kept spilling as we walked. I didn't want to get the wintermelon tea, because I saw prebatched bottles in the fridge, so I would question what's the difference ordering with them vs grabbing a bottle myself. Therefore I decided to order the cane juice hoping that it will be good for the summer heat. They said they ran out, so I got the citrus lemongrass tea instead. I'm amused they gave a slice of orange. My drink was more refreshing, and it's a more unique flavor than generic cafes out there so I'm pleased. It wasn't too sweet. The café has cute wooden benches and tables. The selection of Vietnamese snacks were intriguing and should be legit given the old grandma bought a lot. Even though I don't know how realistic it is for me to come again, but I'd want to!
