Been before and had wonderful experience. Came today cause I was craving Boba. There's a automated ordering system now, instead of talking to a person. I don't typically have issues with technology but I guess ordering a boba on the machine is more difficult than I thought. Weirdly my iced boba came with no ice and no boba in it. It tastes good but lacking the boba I was legit craving. Bummer for the new ordering system as last time I was here the woman at the front was super helpful suggesting something delicious. read more

Good service, but the drinks were a bit underwhelming. We ordered an oolong milk tea with boba, full sweet. The cashier told us that it might take a few minutes since they were brewing a fresh batch and we were totally fine with it. When the drink came out, the boba was fresh and hot, but once we shook the drink to mix it, all of the ice melted immediately and made the drink warm and the boba hard and chewy. The drink itself did have a muted tea flavor but for claiming to be "full sweet," it was not sweet at all. So now we had a lukewarm non-sweet milk tea with hard boba. A bit disappointing. We also got a banana pudding which was good, and we ended up enjoying it much more than the boba. The interior was super aesthetic though, we saw some people taking pictures so if that's important to you, it is a nice place. I hope that maybe we just got a bad batch and it's usually a good place but for first impressions, it was a bit underwhelming. read more

This place has a beautiful interior! Looks like a good spot to sit down and study because there was ample seating and good lighting. Server/cashier was super friendly. They don't have a kitchen so all the food is from an outside vendor but they had some pretty look pastries. I got a slice of quiche that I haven't tried yet because I'm saving for later, but it looks pretty bomb. One of the display tiramisu was molding but they took it out after I told them about it. I also got a mango green tea which I feel is kinda expensive $8 for a large... but I totally understand that cost of rent in Pasadena is probably astronomical too. The tea was good, the mango bits were too big to pass through the boba straw though. The boba was good for the first minute while it was still a bit warm, but got rapidly harder even though I finished my drink in like five minutes. Definitely need to enjoy right away/would not wait to bring home. They seemed new-ish and I think it'll take some time to work out all the kinks, so maybe I will update at some point. read more

Beautiful space! This place just opened yesterday and today was my first time there. 10/10 would recommend to any one looking for a good boba place to relax and get work done on the go. I tried their mocha latte and my friend tried a boba drink (japanese matcha with espresso) and both drinks beat other places in the area by far! I ordered a Thai iced tea. It was good. However I only really wanted to leave a review because of the boba... they are soooo good. Not rubbery when you chew it but not soft like undercooked either. New boba spot in Pasadena and it's super aesthetic. Loved the simple menu (I usually trust spots that specialize in a few drinks versus having a trillion menu items and selections). Beautiful decor- chairs, a picturesque jungle wall, clean tables, leather sofas, colorful pastries, and very nice staff. The pricing is a bit high ($7-$8) but you get to choose from 16 oz to 24 oz for almost all their drinks. The biggest set back- the drinks and boba. It was our first time so I was super sad our tasting experience was unpleasant. I don't know if we just got a really bad batch, but the boba quality was awful.. texture was a nightmare. You know when you leave boba in the fridge thinking it'll be ok, but it hardens from the cold temp and the shell tastes crumbly? Yea like that. It was so bizarre- it was gritty yet mushy and then hard in the center all at the same time. Good boba is supposed to be warm, smooth, springy, chewy, sweet, and delectable! Boba Cha Cha's was practically inedible. It was deceiving because the drink looked so appetizing with the brown sugar syrup drizzles and boba was nice and warm. But upon closer inspection, the boba was breaking apart in the drink leaving scattered pieces of it floating about. There was also hardly any tea flavor in the signature boba cha cha and the vanilla seeds probably added to that gritty texture I mentioned earlier. The drink mostly tasted like really sweet caramel marshmallows. I mean that could be to some people's liking, but not mine-I wanted strong tea flavor complemented by creamy milk and a dash of vanilla. My hub got Oolong and I thought it was fine just a tad watered down, but he was not having it. I don't want to mention what he compared it to lol.... We ended up throwing away the two full drinks at $15 total.. read more

Overall disappointed with the quality, especially for the price being charged (almost $9 for 16 oz). Used the Yelp ordering system to purchase ahead for pickup. The photo for the roasted oolong milk cha showed brown sugar boba, so I thought it was already included (it wasn't ). I tried the lychee popping boba for 50 cents extra. They provided a generous amount (it was like a third of the entire drink), though the outer texture felt plastic-y when chewed. I liked being able to select an alternate milk for free (I chose oat), but the tea strength was VERY weak (as if it was watered down, even though there was hardly any ice). Not worth the hassle of paying for parking in Old Pasadena to get a less-than-satisfying beverage. read more

This was probably the most expensive milk tea I've had in a while. Around 7.50 for a small milk tea that was loaded with ice at the bottom.
