Delicious boba! The drinks: GREAT!! I feel that any good boba place should have fantastic house milk teas and this placed nailed it. The classic milk tea was a bit sweet for me so I asked the woman if there was a similar one but less sweet and she recommended the jasmine milk tea. She gave me a sample of each and they were both great. I opted with the jasmine milk tea because it was less sweet. But both were fantastic! The prices here were extremely reasonable as well - $2.99 for a small with an additional $0.40 for boba. I was so impressed with it! The food: we didn't have any but it all looked great! The vibe: a small mom and pop type of shop. Nothing too fancy but the drinks were great and the food looked amazing. Will I come back? When in Riverside, Yes! read more

Boba cafe is where you come to get some old school Taiwanese/ Chinese cafe take out food. I mainly come when I am craving popcorn chicken and boba. The popcorn chicken isnt spectacular but can satisfy the craving, and you can add a jasmine milk tea for $1.50 with boba. The almond milk tea is pretty good here as well. read more

The boba here is not good at all, which is ironic considering the fact that it's called "BOBA Cafe." The only reason that I am giving it four stars is because the food is good. They give large portions for a cheap price. My personal favorites are the Shrimp Chow Fun or the Kimchi Fried Rice. So if you want a cheap and satisfying snack or meal, this place will do the job. I always bring someone to try this place out when I'm in riverside. I come here specifically for a Taro milk tea w/ boba and Taro pudding. Aside from being unable to try the toppings, everything was great. Cool service, chill wait times, and great drinks. The egg pudding is pretty good too, btw! read more

As a student at UCR from the San Gabriel Valley, this place's Chinese food is pretty good. There aren't a lot of Asian restaurants around this area so this place helps to satisfy my chow fun cravings. The noodles could be more flavorful, but overall not bad. Their drinks are not good. Tried a jasmine green milk tea and lychee green tea from here and wouldn't recommend getting either. I work at a boba shop myself and this place's drinks is simply trash. Well, I lied-- it's a little less than Ten Rens' drinks. But food wise, it's not that great-- in fact, it kind of sucks. Fried Chicken Fried Rice wasn't the best-- chicken was dry and it was pretty typical. Service is EXTREMELY slow when it's crowded. Overall, it's decent place to get DRINKS. Lady at the front took my order with an attitude. Ordered Pork Chop fried rice and they gave me mystery meat. I said, "I want that pork chop meal on the picture" when I ordered. When I received the food I said, "This looks nothing like the picture." The lady said, "That's an old picture, we don't sell it like that anymore (wtf, then take down the picture)". In all honesty, I was actually a big fan of their milk tea a couple years ago. It was better than most of the competing locations around the area... I went back for the first time two weeks ago and my drink tasted disgusting. Not only was it watery, but it tasted like dirty tap water. Milk tea should not taste like that. Chicken Udon and vegetable egg rolls was my first time experience, meal of choice. The vegetable rolls were a nice size, which I was hoping they would be at $1 a pop. Some places serve skimpy sized vegetable rolls, but these were nice and thick. The Chicken Udon was good, nice amount of chicken and flavorful. They always play music which is cool, but sometimes it gets a little too loud. The interior looks like it could be cleaned up more also. The boba here is also pretty average in comparison to others. Their drinks tend to be very sweet. If anything I usually come here because they offer bigger sizes. Don't forget to bring cash! They charge extra when using card.
