As for the drinks, they are not too bad and great for the price! Service was quick. The inside has some seats, but most people order to go, and it is not too loud. For drinks, we got the heartbreaker, lychee slush, and seaside ordered. The heartbreaker was refreshing as the lychee bits added a nice sweetness to it. I've actually never got boba here. I come for their popcorn chicken which is pretty good! It's around $8-$9 and comes with a generous amount of chicken. It's also (usually) well seasoned, tender, and are perfectly sized chunks. During my last visit I got one order of popcorn chicken separated between spicy and mild, so the portion in the picture is only half of what you'd normally get. Unfortunately, they over seasoned the mild and it was too "spicy" for the kids that it was for. The employees have always been nice and helpful. The establishment itself could benefit from a bit of a touch up. The walls are scuffed up, making it feel a bit uncared for. My mom just moved near by and so she wanted to see what this boba spot was going to be like. Its tucked away in a little plaza and honestly, we thought it was closed when we got there. Boba Break Tea House is the real deal. Recently stumbled upon them when one of my usual boba cravings hit while shopping at Target across the street. They're currently implementing contactless service, so when I arrived they weren't letting customers in. There is a QR code on the door that will send you to the ordering site. You can build your drink(s), pay on the site, and they will text you to confirm your order was sent (with a copy of the receipt) and again to let you know your order is ready for pick up. The whole process was very quick and straightforward. The wait time for my drink was also fast. Once my drink was ready and I received the text, I walked back to the store and found a bag on a table with my name and order on it. Easy enough. The drink was superb! I will be bold enough to say the best I've had in the whole Inland Empire. I ordered the Brown Sugar Matcha and added Sea Salt Cream and boba with reduced sweetness. Everything tasted of great quality and so delicious. The boba was perfection in terms of taste and chewiness. My drink itself was refreshing for a hot summer day and was carefully crafted. That Sea Salt Cream to top it off gave the drink a hint of that sweet-and-salty taste I love. Definitely a treat! Although my first trip to Boba Break Tea House, it will definitely not be my last. Ohhh emm gee! I was so sad when boba star closed because it was so close to my house and had great drinks but this place has slid into my number one spot and it's still close by. My hubby and I were looking for some tea near us and boom, Yelp hooked us up! Right now their only taking online orders with a limited menu but it's very organized and safer this way for now. After working for a boba place that served Green Thai Tea, I've been on the lookout for one that can at least match the one I could make. I think I've finally found it! I was so happy to see they served it but I'm not so sure it's on their permanent menu as I've seen some posts about it being only a limited time drink. Im only basing my review off of this single drink but it deserves the high rating. You are still able to taste the tea flavor and the drink is not too sweet. Sometimes I prefer this over regular Thai tea because it's more floral and earthy. I wish they served it at more boba shops but it's relatively hard to find since it's not usually sold in the chain boba stores. Currently can't describe the service because it is online orders only. My experience was almost completely contact free. They have set up a couple tables where the order is in a bag for you to pickup. Only downside is that it is now credit card only. I do appreciate that they have created a system to minimize contact and I hope they can survive this tough time. Go try them out we all need a Boba Break from this stressful time. read more
