Then came the smoothies. The mango smoothie tasted like straight orange juice. Mango may have been involved at some point, but I can't confirm. The strawberry-banana smoothie somehow tasted like vanilla. Not strawberry. Not banana. Vanilla. I checked my order mentally about three times. We didn't even finish either smoothie because they were that disappointing, which is saying something because throwing away a smoothie feels like giving up on happiness.
