This is the best towing company I have ever seen. I was in a bad situation on the side of the road and called aaa. The guy showed up in 10 minutes . He then called a tire shop for me to see if they had my tire. I've never experienced this level of service from a towing company. I highly recommend. read more

Matthew was very professional and careful when I had to have my car towed because of some mechanical issues. Wanted to give him a shout out because he made a very stressful situation very easy and stress free. My car was in a tricky location and he was very proficient and reassuring and made everything very easy. Thank you so much Matthew! read more

I had a flat tire and had to call AAA. My driver Sal was so nice and efficient! I felt comfortable the whole time.

Driver 'Ben' came out to change a tire for me. I'm a senior gal who is clueless when it comes to how a car works! Ben was so helpful and a great communicator. He was extremely punctual and efficient with his service. With the clear instructions he gave me regarding my spare tire, I was able to safely get myself to the tire shop for a new tire. 'Thank you, Ben!' read more

Above and beyond. My car overheated on my way from LA to SF and I called AAA to get a tow. If you ever need a tow, cross your fingers it's from Sal Reyes. So friendly, and helpful - he went above and beyond to help me out. He hooked me up with a mechanic friend of his so my car could be repaired away and I could be on my way. He even gave me his cell number if I needed anything while I was staying overnight waiting for my car, and checked in on me to make sure all was going well and I got back on the road the next day. It's so rare to find kind and knowledgeable people who also don't just do the bare minimum of their job, but who extend themselves and go the extra mile. I was so grateful, especially because I was in a stressful and difficult situation. Sal totally made me feel taken care of and made it as easy as it could possibly be. THANK YOU, SAL!! read more

Holzer replaced a battery in our 40 yr. old P/U on 3/31/26. The battery wouldn't hold a charge I called Holzer and they sent a tech named "Jack" out to replace that one. He not only replaced that battery, but replaced the terminal, cleaned them both and replaced with new rods holding the battery brace. The old brace was worn out, so he bought a new one and used those posts for the brace. He was knowledgeable, skilled ,pleasant and very accommodating. Highly recommend Holzer towing! I called Triple AAA and these guys had my back! I work on a military base and was able to get the driver in, Miguel was the one that helped me and he was very patient throughout the process of waiting to get through all the security screenings to tow my car off base. I saw my neighbor's car being towed and the Driver Ricky would not say if the owner requested the tow or not . Simple question rude non answer. All he said was what do you care. Because if he did,nt I would notify him his car is being towed . Common sense. read more

Had the pleasure of being helped by Ray. He had arrived to tow my truck in under ten minutes, it was unreal. Extremely quick at getting it towed and bringing it to a shop. Very sociable and a kind guy, really seemed to enjoy his job and is very good at it. After dropping off my truck he even brought me back to my house with no additional charge. Ray was extremely professional and I would hope that other people can have the same experience as I did, thanks again! read more

Well, it was my fault. I listened to the computer and it said I had 50 more miles. WRONG! Always remember the golden rule. Be on the ground with an hour of fuel left in your wing tanks. Same for cars, even BMW's. 77 years old, and I run out of fuel, with a car full of dogs and wife. First time ever! (Well, since that old trick in High School...)And I HAVE cruised on fumes a few times before. Rodolfo showed up in no time at all, and the transfusion was successful! (Serviced 02/02/24 FR @ 1:00pm, 2:00pm, & 3:30pm): Eventually, I needed Bob to tow my vehicle! Bob Holzer Towing and I had a relationship one afternoon when I somehow lost my bunch of keys that included one for my vehicle. Each time I called AAA, they were the tow company of record. They were either the closest, the best, or possibly both for a representative from their company to handle my requests. In this case, was the third time a charm for their towing services!? PURCHASE Unlock Vehicle, 1st Tow Attempt, Towed Vehicle (COMP): Thanks to my AAA Plus Membership, all of these services were included. However, it was unfortunate that I actually had three separate service calls to AAA. SERVICE My first encounter (about a 30-minute wait) was a quick and painless one simply to unlock my vehicle to check whether or not I locked my keys inside - no dice. My second encounter (about another 30-minute wait) was to have my vehicle towed to the nearest Honda dealership less than 10 miles away. Unfortunately, the driver brought a flatbed truck but didn't have a good enough angle to maneuver my "Toaster" onto it. My third and final encounter (about a 45-minute wait) came with a wheel lift truck that ultimately did the job. I hopped into the passenger seat of the driver's truck, and off we went to the dealership with some nice tunes and cool chit-chat along the way. The driver (all were males) easily delivered my vehicle, and off he went to the call. Although all of this took longer than expected, each driver was cool to deal with - thank you! PARKING (N/A) Inherently, with this type of service, your vehicle was "parked" wherever you were having troubles. I was stuck along street parking on a main thoroughfare. Therefore, unless you were at their physical facility (no reason why you should be), there was none to speak of - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Again, unless you were at their physical facility (no reason why you should be), there was none to speak of. Your surroundings wherever you were was where you were at - lol! ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL The circumstance that brought me to Bob Holzer Towing wasn't a fun one, but at least the three different drivers (I wished I could remember their names!) made the situation bearable, and each was chill to talk to. The main thing was that they showed up ready to get whatever needed to be done in a relatively timely manner, and eventually, the end result was a positive one. Not that I was ever hoping to need their assistance again, but if I did, I felt comfortable with that. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $0.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, if this wasn't a AAA call, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS read more

Amazing service from Austin today! The starter went out in our car and I was 6+ hours from home picking up my daughter from college. He was kind, friendly and respectful. Outstanding service! I'm keeping his card in case I have any problems in the future while in Santa Barbara area. I'm very thankful. read more
