I prefer Bob Evans food over IHop but the amount of time you have to wait for it to get to your table makes it almost not even worth it. Took 15 minutes to receive our drink order and over 35 minutes for the simple breakfast orders then another 15 for the checks. Slowest service ever!! read more

I love Bob Evans but I'm pretty sure the waitress deliberately ignored me and my fiancé the entire time. She managed to run around to every table except for ours, for which reason I'm not sure, and would deliberately avoid eye contact with our table. I'm also sick and needed water but I was not able to receive any until the 4th attempt to flag her down. By the time we left most of the customers in our section had been filtered out and we were there much longer then necessary. Most likely won't be returning again. read more

Great home style meals, love the dinner rolls. Service is great with super friendly people! If I keep going there, I will have a hard time loosing weight! LOL read more

This place is ok. It's a break from the norm of fast food. It was regular home cooking style food, homemade mashed potatoes and the chicken fried steak was ok, kind of thin but not tough, unlike the tough chewy chicken fried steak at Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel is ok, I guess you can say Bob Evans is a step down from Cracker Barrel and lot less crowded. read more

First time here. 20 minute wait on a Sunday (normal), the food was good but the service was not. Because of the crowded restaurant our waitress informed us they ran out of silverware--not ok. Our food was served to us and then we waited patiently for silverware--not ok. When silverware came there was food residue on my silverware! Gross. After asking for new silverware it was extremely hot because it came straight out of the dishwasher--whatever. Bottom line this place should be prepared for a crowded environment, there are plenty of other options around to accommodate our family with better service. read more

I am a fan of Bob Evans and they always have good food but, last two visits they have charged me incorrectly. If you guys can't figure out how to charge the right prices I'm going to have to find other places to eat. read more

Family meal portions are really small it's says it should feed four but the past two months servings have dramatically declined. Service is really slow ordered it online for a 600 pick up and at 623 it was ready. Forget asking for plates or silverware. read more

Bob Evans - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Stafford, Virginia

I don't know what the heck was the waitresses problem but my family will not be going back here again. Becky our waitress smelt of straight alcohol which is probably why when I ordered a Pepsi she brought me a water. I didn't make a big deal about it but then when my father ordered a cappuccino she complains about having to make it, then when she brings it it's spilling all over the table and serves it as is while we stare in disbelief. As she walks away she complains about how we the customers are stupid and she's tired of us. As I tell the manager that her waitress is drunk and being extremely unprofessional Becky says well whatever as I walk away. I actually loved this place ever sense we got to Stafford but I swear I will never go back here as long as Becky works here and I will recommend to everyone I know to avoid this place. Extremely disappointed. read more

I am not really sure why there are negative reviews. I recently visited this location for the first time. If you like Bob Evans, this place offers a standard Bob Evans restaurant experience. The food was good. The host, waitress and cashier were all very nice. I would come back again. read more

We LOVE Bob Evans! We used to eat there every Saturday, not sure why that awesome tradition stopped. :) The service is great, great comfort food, reminds me of home. One of my absolute favorite places to have breakfast. (Not that any other meal isn't great, but I have always loved their breakfast, so I always order something from that part of the menu.) read more

These people were pretty bad at one time. So all of the 1 star ratings would have easily applied to this place. However it seems like they have new management and everyone there is polite and easy to deal with. The food has gotten really good. They have really changed and deserve another chance. Also if you don't like your food SAY SOMETHING. They'll go out of their way to help. read more

The staff was nice but the food was so gross. Bob would be disappointed. Everything was served cold and seemed like it had been heated in the microwave. read more

Very slow service. Took 45 minutes to receive our food with hardly no one in the restaurant. Had to keep asking for utensils, when we finally received them they were dirty. First and last time going to this location. read more

This place needs new management. My family and I are bob Evan regulars but comparing this place to the one in Fredericksburg. This place is an embarrassment. The food portion, the bathroom, the service... never visiting this location again! read more

Lovely waitress and decent service make up for any other shortcomings. Others may complain about service, but that had not been our experience over the years. Went for dinner Saturday night and was rather empty. Wife had the standard breakfast combo and I had the hamburger steak with mushrooms and onions. Both were decent meals for the price (around 20 bucks) and as mentioned earlier, the waitress was very accommodating. Only complaint was the coleslaw which was definitely turning with a strong vinegar taste. Staff brought me a new side without a seconds hesitation although manager did say it was made last night (hard to believe). With so few decent choices in Stafford, we will likely return. read more

I've been a customer for quite a few years. Seems like in the last year or so the food has really gone down hill. Today I went for breakfast. The omelet was rubbery on the outside and cold on the inside. I ask to have the hash browns crispy. What I got was greasy. I sent them back but the replacement look suspiciously the same. The toast looked and tasted like stale bread with butter. When i said something to the cashier the answer I got was " we're doing the best we can". The best you can? If that's the best you can do then I think I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. read more

50 minutes from being seated to served and the food was luke warm/cold. Sunday morning and no apology or management I site to try to make it right. Good was probably good when it is warm. read more

We just discovered Bob Evans this year. Overall we love them. This one was no exception. Lean, great food, best prices, courteous wait staff. read more

My two daughters and I had breakfast. The service was terrible. The waiter took our order and disappeared. I had to get up four times to ask for silverware, refills, and to ask for biscuits that were never served. My omelet was okay but they did not put cheese in it like it was supposed to. Finally, they brought me someone else's very expensive check! The bathroom sinks were flooded and bathroom dirty! We will never dine there again! We were so ready to get out of there! There are better breakfast places! read more

we went there today for breakfast (husband ,2 kids and me) service was excellent ,Waitress super friendly ,came a few times to refill our drinks, food was fresh hot and delicious ,eggs could have a little more salt for my taste but not a biggie you can always add extra salt .Would recommend and will be back for sure . read more

Would have given it 0 stars but everyone knows that's not an option. Here's why: waited 25 minutes to be seated, once seated waited 40 minutes to get our food after we ordered, never got refills on our drinks. We complained enough to get our meal for free, wouldn't have mattered if they gave it to us for free anyways because #dineanddash read more

Just had a very bad experience at Bob Evans in Stafford Marketplace in Virginia. not only did we get our appetizers with our food which we wanted them as an appetizer when came daughter asked for honey mustard for her chicken tenders and got per packaged salad dressing and my potatoes my country steak were cool due to sitting waiting to be served. After ordering cream pies and waiting appox. ten min. Were told would be ready in about 5 minutes because they were heating the pies. We didn't ask for hot pies just cream pies with whipped cream. After discussing this with manager found out she was cooking in the back the cook has called out and apparently she had no replacement. she gave us a bunch of excuses saying it wasn't her order but seems to me that it is her responsibility to get orders right as a manager when we finally paid the bill the waitress bought our pies with runny whip cream apparently from heated cream pies. Told her no wanted bill. Paid and left letting manager know we would not be visiting any Bob Evans. However waitress did gain her tip back when discovered was mostly managers fault. read more

This place has seriously gone down hill in the last year or so. If we have good service the food is wrong or bad...if the food is good the service is bad. It's never great service & great food. It's either one or none. Today was pretty much it for us. First my soda tasted awful and the waitress dropped it off and didn't come back for about 10 minutes. Then our son's food came out and I asked for an extra plate so I could cut his food up for him which I never got. His bacon was freezing cold and looked raw. Eventually the rest of the food came. The problems were a cold waffle, scrambled egg that when I bit into it juice squirted out like it was undercooked (I instantly spit it out), bacon that was obviously put in a deep fryer and was almost burnt, and an omelette with "diced ham" which was actually huge cubes of ham. Yes it is Valentine's Day however it was lunch time and the restaurant was pretty empty. If you can't cook breakfast & time everything at a place known for breakfast then there is a serious problem. The waitress was busy cleaning up (possibly getting ready to end her shift) and was very inattentive. We used to be regulars since there isn't much to choose from in Stafford but we will definitely find a new go to place & stick to cooking breakfast food at home. read more
