We went right around main lunch time. Not many people eating at the time. Our waitress Gigi was phenomenal. The manager was bringing out food due to having short staff. I'd def recommend asking for Gigi when you arrive!

Whisky Bacon Burger
Keisha H.

I popped in here for lunch with my mom. There was plenty of parking so no issues there. Also, there was essentially no crowd, so it was pretty quiet inside. I was a little surprised to see there was no lunch menu. There were also no more dollar margaritas, but they have a special on margaritas all day for $5. So, I'll take that as a small win. I got the whisky bacon burger, it came a little differently than I anticipated but it was good! I didn't expect it to be stacked so high, and I wish the bun was a little larger but I devoured it all the same. The margarita I ordered was good as well. Now, for there to be virtually no crowd, the food could've come out a little faster and our server a little more attentive. But maybe when the crowd is slow, everyone is moving a bit slower as well. I'd still come back though. Enjoy!

Chicken Quesadillas
Donna R.

My Sister, Cousin and I went during Happy Hour and ordered Quesadillas, Pretzels with Beer Cheese and Queso, Spinach and Artichoke Dip and Chips, and one Cosmo drink. All appetizers were hot and delicious! The Quesadillas were perfectly cooked and had a good amount of chicken and cheese inside. We loved the pretzels but the Beer Cheese was not really like Beer Cheese and pretty blah so we liked the mustard better. I'm taking off a Star for two reasons: 1 - there were big hunks of artichokes in the dip that were too big to pick up with a chip and not as tasty to have such a big bite at once; 2 - my Cousin ordered a Cosmo and the "bartender" had to look it up on the Internet to make it - that's a pretty common drink that the bartender should have known how to make. My cousin said it was pretty good! Our server, Debrah D, was very friendly and sweet. She made good recommendations and checked on us just the right amount of times. The restaurant was clean and had lots of TVs. The Ladies Restroom was clean and well stocked. Lots of parking.

Some hair the appetiser to really warm you up!

Just the appetiser alone took forever to come out, after getting some bites in I got to see a nice hair. The pestering country music is too loud and twangy; along with the lack of hygiene and tasteless grease meat they serve. Waiter had tons of attitude like hair in the food isn't an issue whatsoever. Was dumbfounded when we asked for napkins. Avoid this location.

The wait time took at least an hour. The servers were great but the it didn't make up for the time. This took way too long.

The chicken finger basket with French fries and honey mustard dipping sauce hit the spot--crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The potato skins appetizer was really good too, loaded just right. What stood out most were the French fries: cooked to absolute perfection, golden and crispy. Service was decent enough and food arrived in a timely manner. Would definitely come back! I like it better than Buffalo Wild Wings and Girlfriends Tap House. Would recommend if you're looking for a casual American food sports bar in Stafford. One drawback was no volume for the big game. Service was great! Our server, Abigail was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. We basically told her we wanted wings and burgers and asked her for her suggestions. She suggested their BBQ wings, so we got them - They were very tasty! Were they "jumbo" as the menu suggests? Kinda... the drum was, but the flat was basic. The flavor of the BBQ sauce on them was great tho! She also suggested the Girlfriend Burger with a side of their red potatoes - so we got these too. The burgers were great! Meat was cooked perfectly, not overdone and the size of the meat was pretty nice too. The sauce, lettuce, and cheese came together very nicely on it - definitely loved it! The bun was toasted nicely too. I'd definitely return!

Loved my burger. This place is great for watching sports (lots of TVs) or to meet for drinks after work. Kelsey was attentive, friendly and super efficient!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were moderately busy... I say that because I often see hardly any cars in the lot when I drive by around lunch time. My server was great! Very friendly and attentive and gave great recommendations. The menu is loaded with many interesting options for sides, appetizers, wings and about 6 burgers. I opted for their classic burger and their potato wedges. My food came out pretty quickly and was piping hot. I also got a side of their beer cheese and wanted to try a couple of their sides to dip my potato wedges into. The beer cheese wasn't worth the 75 ¢ it costs. But those sides sauces, which were no-charge, were really good. I tried the Jammin Jalapeño and the Mango Habanero. Both were spicy and tasty and tasted great on the potato wedges. The burger was decent, but far from the best I've had. In fact, there's a Chili's next to this restaurant and I've been there several times for burgers and those are much better than what I had here today. This one was lacking flavor from the meat, as it was too well-done (even for a smash burger) and it had hardly any flavor from the toppings/condiments. Overall, it was a nice lunch... I'd definitely return, just get the wings next time.

I've given this location multiple chances, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently…read moredisappointing. About three months ago, my wife, friends, and I ordered cheese curds and were shocked at the portion--there were maybe 15 tiny, penny-sized pieces. We also ordered boneless wings, which were noticeably smaller than what this chain used to serve. At the time, we brushed it off as a one-time issue. We decided to try again this week, and nothing has improved. I ordered a burger with mustard, and it came out without it. Not a huge issue on its own, but it added to the overall lack of attention to detail. My wife ordered 10 boneless wings, and once again, the size was extremely disappointing--small, not filling, and nowhere near what you'd expect for the price. Additionally, there was barely any sauce on the wings (picture attached). It really feels like portion sizes have gone down significantly while prices have gone up. What used to be a reliable place for decent portions and quality food now feels like you're paying more and getting less. After multiple visits with the same issues, we won't be coming back.

We decided to check out The Clubhouse at Aquia Harbor--but let's call it what it really is:…read moreBorinquen Bar and Grill, serving up legit Puerto Rican comfort food right in the area. Came in based on a friend's recommendation, and honestly...solid call. First thing: the food is authentic. If you're craving real island flavors without hopping on a plane, this spot delivers. I went straight for the classic: Pernil with Arroz con Gandules. Flavor was on point, tender, well-seasoned...though I'll admit, I was hoping for just a little piece of that crispy cuerito to take it from "wow" to "transported back to Abuela's kitchen." Now let me tell you what was ON FIRE: Mofongo with Camarones a la Criolla / al Ajillo -- absolutely the standout dish. The mofongo was packed with flavor, the shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the sauce brought everything together. Highly recommended if you come here...don't even think twice. The family started with appetizers--beef empanadas, mini alcapurrias, and croquetas de jamón--and those were definitely the highlights. Great taste overall. Visually, it looked like the oil might've been a bit on the older side (or maybe cooked a little too hot) since some items came out darker than expected...BUT the flavor still showed up. A couple things didn't fully hit: The Cuban sandwich wasn't bad, but the bread just wasn't quite right. Let's be real...Miami spoils us. Up here, Cuban bread is basically a unicorn. The vanilla flan was decent, but the custard texture was a little more firm/condensed than my personal preference. One note: they're still waiting on their liquor license, so no alcoholic drinks yet--but honestly, the food held its own. Prices are pretty standard restaurant range--about $15 per plate, so for a family of five you're looking at that mid-range dinner outing. And the best part? I wanted the Chuleta Kan Kan, but they had just sold the last one...so yeah...I'll definitely be back . If you're in the Aquia Harbor area and want Puerto Rican food that feels like the real deal, this is a great stop. The environment is small but allows for a good time with family and friends. There is outdoor seating available but currently too cold for that.

We stopped in for their Mother's Day brunch thinking it would be a great way to sample a variety of items, but unfortunately the experience didn't match the price or expectations. The positives first, service was good overall, the staff and our server was friendly enough. The beer selection was easily the highlight of the visit. Even as casual beer drinkers, we could appreciate the variety they offered, and the flights are a great option for anyone wanting to explore different styles. The food and buffet itself, however, was disappointing. The eggs were mass-produced and had an odd flavor, the roast was dry and fatty, the sausage had an odd texture, and the mac and cheese was soggy. Most of the other items were just average, and nothing really stood out. Unfortunately most of the family wasn't a fan wasn't able to finish or eat, with most of kids left hungry, which was frustrating considering what we paid per person. That alone made the experience feel underwhelming. We may give the regular menu a try someday, but based on the buffet quality, our expectations are definitely lower now. Overall, we'd come back for the beer and atmosphere, but we'll likely pass on the food moving forward.
