    Western omelet with hash browns

Its a Bob Evans. Its mid-morning on a week day. Our server was not very friendly but he took our order correctly and provided some extra coffee creamer and coffee upon request. We come here for a solid breakfast, thats it. Seems to be a new manager here since my last visit.

On 27 October 2023, I had breakfast at Bob Evan's, Columbia, MD. The manager greeted me when I walked in and guided me to an available table. The restaurant decor was very inviting. My waiter, Christina, was very friendly. I ordered the western omelet with extra ham, hash browns, and a side order of rye toast. I'm glad I stopped in for breakfast!!

Eggs scrambled with cheese, home fries, and sausage.

Went to Bob Evans on a random Sunday morning. The service was great, yet the food was terrible. The food wasn't even hot. The homefries were dry and tough. It was like the food had been made earlier and placed under a lamp or something. Never again...

Grabbed breakfast here the other day. Restaurant was somewhat busy. We were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We both ordered the Farmer's Choice breakfast. It was good, the French Toast didn't have much of a taste. The price wasn't bad. Overall it was better than Dennys and IHOP. Next up on the Old School breakfast tour, Cracker Barrel.

The food was so good!!! I am a Cracker Barrel lover and my husband said let's try Bob Evans we have never been. I am so glad we did!!!! The food was delicious and the prices were great!!!! The amount of food my husband had for the Whole Hog and it was under $13!!! I was amazed!!! Lol. I loved my Berry French Toast and home fries!!! My husband loved his food!!! We will definitely eat at Bob Evans again!!! We had a great waitress!!! The Arnold Palmer was good. I loved the atmosphere very friendly and homely!!!

Dull knife. They didn't even cut the bread correctly.

Order- My son had The original Farmer's choice which consist of shredded hash browns, pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. I had the build your own omelette which consist of sour dough bread, golden brown home fries, and mushroom with cheddar cheese omelette. Food temperature/taste- Luke warm and lack of taste in all areas. My son and I ordered Doordash and when I say this was such a disappointment, omg, sad. We were better off going to IHOP, but we only decided to come to this location since the one in Rochester, New York is pretty good. Well, we really got fooled. Whomever made the breakfast forgot to cook the mushrooms first and than put it in my omelette as I requested. Next, they buttered the bottom bread and not the top bread. I'm glad I am not a bread eater, I would've been upset about that as well. Look at the photo. Their knives must not be sharp. The bread isn't even cut complete. Sad!!! Last, their website doesn't even have drinks. What restaurant doesn't provide drinks for their customers? Will I do it all over again? Heck no! I will stick to IHOP. I know for a fact they will have everything perfect. Please don't say DoorDash is the reason. I watched when the food was picked from the restaurant and when it was going to be delivered. The driver was on time, so it's the restaurant's fault.

Bob Evans. A nice Diner in Columbia,MD. I ordered Lemon Pepper Sole Filet with mashed potatoes and steamed Broccoli. Price only $13.- for two filet. Mashed potato not the best it's the usual. Staff very nice, restaurant manager came twice if I like the service and the food. Waitress very nice person, so I tipped well. Place quite, clean and nice music. I can recommend.

Tucked at the corner of a busy commercial store and other restaurants. Bob Evans is there; you just need to look a little hard, but there goes the GPS who will help you on finding your way to basic breakfast to start your day. Unfortunately, Bob Evans eliminated the crêpes and fried chicken, which I like the most. The only favorite food I often think about is the Banana Nut Loaf. Bob Evans has the best so far that I know. Let me know if you have recommendations.

Brunch at Elliott's Craft Kitchen: A Promising Start With a Few Missed Beats…read more.. I recently visited Elliott's Craft Kitchen a fairly new spot that my group of four decided to try out for brunch. We were hoping for a fresh experience, but our visit turned out to be a mixed bag. Ambiance and First Impressions... When we arrived, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, which was a bit of a head-scratcher for brunch time. Even though we could hear staff chatting in the back, it took a good five to eight minutes before anyone came out to seat us. Once we were seated, we noticed the lighting was so dim that we actually had to whip out our phones just to read the menu. Not exactly the cozy brunch vibe we were hoping for. The Food: Hits and Misses... On to the food. We started with the cream of crab soup, which was just okay--nothing to write home about. The Brussels sprouts were a bit of a letdown. They were tiny and mostly just fried leaves rather than the hearty sprouts we expected. So if you're imagining those classic roasted Brussels sprouts, this wasn't it. The chicken and waffles were decent in flavor, although the presentation could have used some polish. The pita bread for the crab dip could have been toasted or something more firm and doesn't taste like it was immediately pulled from a bag. Surprisingly, the star of the meal ended up being something as simple as the French fries. They were really tasty and stood out more than some of the fancier dishes. Service and the Final Stretch... Our server was kind and polite, which we appreciated. But the big hiccup came at the end. Their payment system went down, and we ended up waiting over 30 minutes just to settle the bill. After sitting for about 15 minutes we informed our server that we would like to wait in the lounge area to get more comfortable as I understand.... things happen. Although while we waited for about 20 minutes there were no offers of water or anything to make the wait less awkward (not to mention asking for payment without even presenting a bill). It felt like they were more focused on turning the table than making sure we were okay during the delay. Although maybe it was an awkward start to the morning. I will say our server did her best to work things out with the technology she was given. So, I still provided her a fair tip, not her fault. Value for Money... In terms of pricing, it felt pretty average overall, but there were a few eyebrow-raisers. For instance, the avocado toasted croissant--topped with over-easy eggs, baby spinach, and Grana Padano--was $19, which felt a bit steep for what it was. In comparison, a pork schnitzel dish was around $21. So, while the pricing wasn't outrageous, some items definitely made me pause and question the value. Overall Thoughts... In the end, my experience at Elliott's Craft Kitchen was a bit of a letdown. So I'm surprised by some of the reviews (maybe because it was not dinner). While there were a few highlights (like the fries and a well-made Old Fashioned), the service hiccups and the underwhelming dishes mean I'd probably think twice before going back. Definitely not for brunch but I would really consider Dinner after some more reviews. Hopefully they'll iron out the kinks as they get more established.

The fries were delicious, the extra crispy kind that you can't find many places! The cream of crab was so good, I don't like when there are chunks of onion in it and this one was smooth and thick. The steak was awesome and so was the whipped feta! The wine flight was a nice touch, they have a ton of wines and cocktails for everyone else (also a full bar)!
