Mmmm mmmm good! Home style all American food. Love it. The menu is extensive, so many choices! I didn't know what to get honestly. I decided in the pot roast sandwich and it was delicious! I wish we had a Bob Evan's in San Antonio, I would be a frequent customer guaranteed! The service was great! The food was fantastic! Love it. And did you know that they donated over $1.4 million dollars to local families and charities last year! A company that takes care of their community gets the stamp of approval in my book. Good job! The food is good and service is ok and you don't always feel unwelcome, it's a odd feeling, it's sort of a downgrade of cracker barrel

Thanksgiving Dinner: Long wait times from staff through each course of the dinner. Missed and forgotten food items... Ordered biscuits never got them. Thin slice of PROCESSED turkey - not enough. Had to wait on check to leave. Items didn't want were included while preferred items weren't. Got green beans and corn...whoopee... no yams or specialty type dishes and casseroles. Costly for what was received...$15.00 - $18.00. Being that unhappy why the two stars? Because the dressing, mashed potatoes,and gravy were good. read more

The food is fine, but the service for the waitress Jodi, was abs horrible and disrespectful. we had been waiting over an hour just to get seated only bc the hostess didn't want to upset the customers by sitting us next to them. we were a group of 10. Once we were finally seated, I had advised the Jodi, the waitress, that we were ready to order along with our drink orders. we didn't want to prolong the wait. Jodi just stood there staring not saying anything. not acknowledging that we were ready to order. nothing. Once I took over taking direction of the order, bc it was clear that she did not want to attend to us, I stated that she was just standing. she bluntly looked at me and told me , "well I can sit down!" So unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. Never have we been treated so rudely before. During the meal, not once did she ask if anyone one of us needed a refill on drinks. She rarely came by to check on us, but was really quick to cash us out. this has been the worst service EVER! Jodi was the worst! Never again! read more

Worst food ever!!! like TV dinner on a plate . Menu says fresh cooked. I beg to differ. And the mashed potatoes weren't even real. It appears to be farm fresh or whatever the theme they are going for. It was disgusting. The establishment was very cute and clean. I was hoping it would be yummy new place to eat. The food looked nothing like the beautiful food pictured on the menu. It came to the table in under 5 minutes. So it was definitely a microwave dinner put on a plate. Okay, what to I talk about first? The muffins and bread that catch me at first glance and smell or the food? Hmm... It's hard for me to walk past the muffins and bread. i could get easily filled up just on that. LIke what do you choose, why not just try a little of everything. We stopped in to this Bob Evans for a bite before hitting the road. It was my first time eating in a Bob Evans. A few thoughts - The ambiance seemed a little sterile. It wasn't as "cozy" as I expected for some reason. Maybe it's because we got there between lunch and dinner and there weren't a lot of people. I had the grilled chicken dinner with a salad, but it wasn't a very memorable meal. Adequate is the best I could say about it. Service was fine, nothing spectacular, but no complaints either. Again, this may be because we were at that "in between" time and there wasn't much going on. But the one thing that stood out: When I got home, I happened to notice that the amount charged on my debit card was nearly double the amount of our bill. I called, and it turned out that I had accidentally typed in my PIN when I was supposed to enter the tip! The person who helped me on the phone took care of it and the money was very quickly credited to my account. Thanks, Bob Evans for your honesty - you could have very easily have said "Tough luck" and kept my money. I appreciate you taking care of the customer. read more

We sat down for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Once we got up and asked someone to take our order, she never apologized for the service. We asked for bread with one of our orders and when another waitress gave us our order without bread, she said she didn't know how to fix it. 5 minutes after starting our meal our regular waitress brought bread, without apologizing again. When we were finishing up, she took my boyfriend's plate and asked if he was finished afterwards. Literally the worst service we've ever received. The food, however, was excellent. read more

Stopped in for dinner on the way to the Airport for a quick bite to eat. I loved this place! Super Fresh Decor, I loved how Modern and cute this restaurant is!!! As soon as you walk in someone is greeting you and seating you to your table. We were sat together and then we were given a sample of their Cherry Bread, it was OK, but still they are all about customer service and making you feel welcome. The coffee was great, and I ordered soup and a grilled cheese. The soup was really good, the grilled cheese was very good if you like brioche bread, I"m not that big of fan, it was a soft grilled cheese rather than a crunchy texture, but overall, I would go back for breakfast and try this place out again. But really, I loved this cute new modern Bob Evans! read more

Always loved Bob Evans. So glad they have one in my area. First, it smells divine when you come in, with baked bread/cinnamon rolls. We were seated promptly and were able to order quickly. the food always sounds/looks so good on the menu, but is never spectacular, but, I normally have no complaints about the food regardless and the waitresses keep an eye on the coffee and water. Last weekend, when we swung in for a quick breakfast before heading to the beach, 7am - we were rudely accosted by some dirty and "spacy" looking woman, who I guess came in to use the restroom. The staff saw her walk in and kept eyeing her but no one approached her and then, after she walked by us, twice, staring at us, our table, and food she stopped near our table and begged us to buy her a cup of coffee, I told her she was rude to interrupt our breakfast and she slowly wandered outside hovering close to the doors and bench out front. That area has many homeless people and at Publix across the street I have had people approach me asking for money as I head to my car. Scary.... read more

We were immediately greeted and asked our preference for seating. The wait staff was friendly. Our food was warm and the bacon was wonderful, and we didn't wait long on our food. The cost was $22 for 2 people. The atmosphere was pleasant and the portions of food were good. The floors need replacing and the restrooms cleaned and updated, which is NOT a deal breaker. Today my family and I visited this establishment for breakfast on our way to Orlando. We were greeted immediately when we walked through the door and sat promptly. Our waitress Stephanie came over and from the moment she greeted us to the moment we paid she was attentive, charming, and made our breakfast experience that much better! The food was delicious and fresh too and they have really great coffee. To be honest, we are from New England and have never heard of the restaurant and didn't know what to expect but it was perfect for breakfast!
