Ask about their lunch specials during the week until 2 pm

This was our fourth time visiting here bc we had liked it. This last time was not the same. Felt like the service wasn't that great. Came in and wasn't sure what to order. We looked at the menu provided to us. We like to look at pics online too. There is a special for Monday. That information was provided to us after we asked, but if not, we would have not known. It was for different burgers. We ordered two empanadas first, Then ordered a burger, the burger was the Oh Oh Burger. On the menu, this burger included ground beef, salami, Caramelized onions, maduro, and fried cheese. I only noticed it having the fried cheese, nothing else. This burger was very salty as well. It also came with fries. In regard to the empanadas, I liked the ground beef empanada and my husband liked the chicken. I ordered a passion fruit mojito and my husband had water. At the end, when leaving they said they had specials each day. In the beginning that was not even mentioned because those are on separate menus, & if you don't Ask, then you don't know.

I've driven by this place many times wondering what it is. I decided to stop in today and I'm so glad I did! They had an awesome lunch special going on where I got teriyaki chicken with vegetable rice and a side salad. The staff were super friendly and the service was excellent. The interior is super clean with modern decor, almost like a Miami night club vibe. 5 stars all around for a quick and easy lunch.

An absolute gem of a Puerto Rican comfort food restaurant and bakery. What a find! So many great choices on the menu made it a challenge to pick something. I ended up going with the El Asare (thanks to our server for helping me with the exact pronunciation), which is a delightful sandwich of Pork (leg), Ham, and Chorizo along with Swiss cheese, mojito sauce (home made) and cucumbers (which I barely tasted). The pork was so moist and flavorful. I inhaled that sandwich. The French fries were also a bit hit. Cooked perfectly and hot and fresh. As full as I was I couldn't help but visit the bakery side of the house where I opted to take home a rice pudding. It was such a huge portion it ended up being two desserts. This place has a great selection of pastries and desserts. In hind sight I should've just bought one of everything as I'm sure it's all amazing! Highly recommend this place for authentic Puerto Rican dishes made with and served with love!

Best new restaurant I've been to in years. Can't wait to try everything. Food was exceptional along with well learned presentation skills.

The food was great from the Guava Sangria to Sushi (pork, avocado, plantain) to the churrasco steak Mofongo to the Tres Leches (sooooo good!) and Chocolate mousse cake. We will be back!

Visiting from Louisville, Kentucky! Service - 4.5 / 5 Service was great. We were seated promptly and provided menus. The hostess didn't not provide her name that's why I subtracted .5 from the service. She checked on us just enough. Offered options for my allergies and provided good information. Food - 4.5 / 5 I got a sandwich (pictures attached) el guapo. It was very well made. Just enough balsamic and the cheese was great! Beverages - this is why I deducted .5 is because the beverages soda / water are pay per can or bottle. We were not informed it would be this way and no free refills. So keep this in mind when ordering things to drink. This maybe common in Florida however we're visiting and unaware. Allergy - I have a seafood, mushroom, and peanut allergy. I called ahead and they said they can accommodate my allergies. They informed me they fry things in different fryers and there would be no cross contamination. Environment / Ambiance - 5/5 The place was very hip, chill, and laid back. The food even matched the Ambiance. This has probably been the restaurant with the best atmosphere I've seen this trip. They would even spray some fragrance periodically. Restrooms - I wasn't able to check these out but they do have public restrooms. Sensory Sight - there are neon lights, screens, etc. The screen menus are overwhelming with options and choices Sound / Noise Level - music felt to be at an appropriate level where we could talk comfortably. Smell - you could smell the gas from the grill outside and they masked it by spraying fragrance. These maybe overwhelming for someone who has sensory concerns. Taste - there are many components to their food items, many different textures. Touch - tables, floors, and chairs were clean and free of any trash / debris. LGBTQ+ Rating - 3/5 The staff were really friendly. We didn't experience any homophobia or prejudice. However without safety stickers, support items I always do 3/5. Would Be Back / Would Recommend Yes we would go back and would recommend it to friends / family.

Each time I have dined at this place the food is just been amazing. It's a small dining area but does hold medium to a little larger group. Services always wonderful with the sweetest smiles from all of the staff. You are able to choose from the menu which has a variety of choices, or you are able to choose off of the food bar the daily specials. The staff will serve you from the food bar to your table or from the kitchen to the table. This place is always very neat and clean and such a pleasure to dine at. I was able to try the coffee with the pistachio and it was fabulous! Definitely a place to go again and again if you would like a wonderful choice of Latin fusion food. I highly recommend this anytime.

We came in because we wanted to try their sushi but then... I saw they had mofongo and I pivoted lol Pros: Very clean, very modern. Service is hands down some of the best service I've ever had (Oxford Exchange should send their folks here for training) The food was incredible - I had the mofongo with shrimp and ate it with the seafood sauce. The mofongo was savory and moist. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The maduros were cooked how I like, almost over cooked but not and they had a hint of salt. - I had the passion fruit pudding but didn't get a photo... it was eaten too quickly Cons: We didn't know what to do when we walked in... do we sit? Do we order at the counter (you sit and someone will come and take your order) I will be going back soon and will definitely try the sushi.

This place just keeps getting better. Stopped by last night for dinner and the food was awesome again. My wife got the Oxtail (Rabo for us Latinos) and she LOVED it! She is very particular on her Rabo and said one of best she's had in FL. As usual the service was excellent , we had Samantha take care of us and she is amazingly sweet and couldn't be anymore helpful. The place is really cute with a cozy atmosphere and surprise considering it's a strip mall with no signage. Definitely will keep coming back.

Roast pork,(pernil) , white rice and beans!

A welcome treasure in Clearwater for Puerto Rican food. We went for lunch and had the avocado salad which was so flavorful and refreshing w a great dressing. The shrimp mofongo would've made Bad Bunny jump! it was by far the best i've ever had. The pernil was super well seasoned and w the white rice and beans paired very well. Even the coffee was excellent. I had a colado to go. Don't miss this spot they also have bakery items which i'll have to try next time. The interior is super cute and not sketchy at all my bride says.

The brussel sprouts appetizer is HUGE. It was double the size I have received at other places, so took some back to the hotel for leftovers. They also came with a tasty dipping sauce that was unique as well. The Caesar salad was neutral; no strong flavor yet not distasteful. No anchovies taste either. I could take it or leave it. The filet steak was tender served over some mashed potatoes and thick asparagus wrapped in salty, yummy bacon. The smoky old fashioned and expresso martini (with Baileys added extra!) drinks were tasty. Make a reservation online and Uber/Lyft if you are close as it's easy in and out!

We ended up splitting the seafood pasta dish, and it was more than either of us could eat, even after splitting it. Service was good for dinner. Martini was good, but the blue cheese stuffed olives were prepackaged from a jar. Breakfast blew us away. Every dish we had was great. I don't think you can go wrong. Breakfast pizza was surprisingly great and enough for two people to split. Service at breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was always flowing and the servers were always smiling. The atmosphere and ambience are OK. I don't love the vibe, as it felt like a dated dining room experience. But Food was still great. If you are staying at the Opal Sands, the entire complex has amazing food and you don't even have to leave. Huge benefit to staying there.

We were seated as soon as we arrived, and throughout our visit the service was really good. My friend and I were having a very hard time deciding, and when we asked the server, she flat out told us that the two things we were torn between were awesome and we should order both and split them. We got the shrimp and grits and the lobster Benedict. On their own, the grits weren't anything special, although they were texturally great. Now when you add the shrimp and gravy . . . This dish is a whole other deal. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the gravy was super well balances. It had the perfect level of spice. The lobster Benedict had a perfectly poached egg, and it worked so well. The mornay sauce was a lovely touch. I'd definitely order it again, but I would also definitely order the shrimp again. Long story short, our server was right, they were both amazing. I also got a standard Bloody Mary, which was solid. I would definitely go back to this place. It's got an upbeat, family friendly atmosphere, and I think it's a great spot for locals and out of towners alike. It's also well priced. I'd also love to try their beignets or French toast next time. They've also got a huge lunch/dinner menu that I'd definitely want to try if I were in town for longer.

Ambience was like your regular breakfast place or diner, but definitely family friendly. We were there with our 8 month old baby boy and felt comfortable. Food tasted pretty okay, we ordered coconut shrimp, fish n chips and chicken tacos for brunch! The fish was a little undercooked and the batter was still a bit wet inside. Other items were not bad. For drinks, I ordered their popular pomegranate mimosa which came really flat (no bubblies) and in a wine glass! I sent it back and got a mojito instead - which tasted a lot better! Additionally, we were not aware the breakfast menu closes at 12 pm and we were already seated, so kind of felt obligated to order from the lunch menu at around 12.05 pm! It was too early for a sea food lunch for us! We saw the table next to us had ordered breakfast just a few minutes before us but we were denied because it was already past noon. Overall a pretty average experience. I was expecting a little more authentic experience but turned out to be just like your local diner.

I came in party of 3 no reservations and they accommodated us telling me that we had until a certain time ( 1hour 30 mins) that's about how long we usually take so we said yes. Of course we came for the early bird special and got x2 short ribs and steak. Worth it in every way! The steak was cooked to perfection and very flavorful and soft. The Mac and cheese tasted like truffle and was gooey. We prefer a bit but it was delicious regardless. The short rib is so soft and flavorful.
