Well I'll stay away from Celina and continue to drive 40 mins to the better restaurant in Vanwert.... Manager helped but idk if she actually talked to the cook , kp especially should have a talk about the carrots being old as heeell and if the server cared about tips she'd refuse the food from the cook and tell us it was made wrong. my sons grilled cheese was like two pieces of toast and cheese slices lol idk pot roast was dry and I got sick off of my country fried steak which was lame, the first serving of kids fries for his meal was so whimpy and it all just sucked. This place needs work. The employees are terrible, service is terrible and the last few times I've been in there it was dirty. Our booth wasnt cleaned, we had to ask for another table. Then they say someone else at that same dirty table after we moved. The food is either cold, undercooked or its not even what you ordered. Walked in to what appeared to be a fairly dead place, as in not many patrons. There were a few people in the lobby but with the restaurant not being full I assumed they weren't waiting to be seated. Stood for about 7 minutes waiting. Waitress greeted us by saying "are you on the list?" I said no, didn't know there was such a thing. The food has always been good when I went! It gets a little busy sometimes and wait times are long. Typical Bob Evans food, nothing special.

We had a party of four. We walked in and were literally stared at for maybe five minutes by the wait staff until a girl walked over that had just been leaning up against a wall. Server, Latecia, finally appeared after about ten minutes and was obviously not happy when we decided to order as well. Ten more minutes go by with no drinks and then she comes back with food for the table next to us and proceeds to go get them refills before ever bringing us our drinks. Un Fucking believable. Been waiting for 25+ minutes after being told it was a 10 minute wait. There are 3 other parties waiting and no one has been seated, or checked in with. But in the 30 minutes of waiting, 6-7 carry out orders have been processed. The service here is a fucking joke. It's Friday, TGIF, I'm out with my mother and my younger brother. We decide hey let's get Bob Evan's, well let me tell you that's when it all went to hell. We arrive and are seated fairly quickly, which was really nice. The waitress was courteous and took our drink orders and was very attentive when taking our food orders. Deception. My family and I receive our drinks and wait, we try to get our waitresses attention after thirty minutes of waiting politely. She turns and smiles, I smile, she walks away. I wonder where the hell is my refill, my mother catches her attention. More waiting. I stand up briefly to see if our food is up, there it is in it's soggy fries, cold well done despite being ordered medium rare glory. She walks to my food, I get excited, my brother gets excited, she walks away. Forty-five minutes in, she brings a refill, we ask about our food and she apologizes for the wait. By now I'm deep into minecraft losing all retention of reality. My family is troubled, I'm troubled, my food.. troubled. She returns with our food that has been on the counter for nearly an hour now. Her genuine smile turned to a nonchalant grin. We dine, I use a butter knife to cut my cold steak and contemplate starting the cycle anew. I'm missing my dressing for my side of fries. Life's good. Under staffed and poorly managed, avoid this place at all cost , just watched the cook come out of the bathroom and had dry hands like he didn't wash them . Waited for a carry out order while the girl made biscuits for 20 minutes wow . Sure enough got orders home . They was incorrect . I love Bob Evans in general. The Celina location is the exception to this rule. We have given them several chances to improve... yet we are let down every time we go here! The following is from a visit in February. We went as a group of 4 adults and a child to celebrate my father in law's birthday. It was a disaster and I'm embarrassed that we thought it was a good idea to take him to our location! The staff are terrible! Every time we have eaten there, our order is wrong! And not just a small mistake.... last time my father in law ordered the oatmeal with fruit and nuts.... and she brought him a dish of fresh fruit and some banana nut bread... The cooks DO NOT know how to cook an egg. (And they are known for breakfast!?!?!?) I ordered my eggs over easy, with dry wheat toast. I got over cooked eggs that were over hard (basically rubber) and buttered white toast. My hubby got some brown glob of lukewarm sludge in a bowl that was supposed to be the sausage gravy... but he wouldn't eat it after the second bite. My son got the kids pancake that was supposed to be shaped like a pig. While it was deformed and definitely lacked artistic skills, he ate it all and my mother in law loved her pancakes which was all she ordered. (Aside from the coffee she couldn't get a refill on) Our waitress never came back after delivering our food... not a single refill was given on any of our drinks... and never once did a manager come by to check on us. We eventually flagged down a bus boy who got our bill from the server. The hostess asked how everything was and we told the truth, it was terrible and we doubted we would come back. She shrugged and said sorry that we were having a bad day! Ummmm we were happy until we went out to breakfast!!! I called corporate (which I seldom do and usually only to give kudos!) and the district manager called me to apologize. He asked for my address and said that he would send us a gift card to make up for the bad experience. That was over 3 months ago. We went to bobevans last night me my boyfriend and daughter and we got two bacon cheeseburgers fries a Belgian waffle and some kind of breakfast platter but the biscuits and gravy he were the gravy was just two sausage she tasty it was pretty much chunks of sausage and hardly no gravy so that was nasty and we didn't eat it and my daughters Belgian waffle was right like in it had no flavor no like Vannelli E flavor nothing she added two things of syrup to it and it was still dry the food was just not good we spent $49 and some change and It was just not worth it we will not be going back because the food was that bad read more

I come here because it's cheap, and the experience is the same every time even though I think it will improve. We walk in through the door to see that there are no tables available and see a line of customers standing around waiting. There is seating in the waiting area for 8 people but the 10 others have to stand for however long 15-20 minutes until tables open up. The customer service is terrible. Once we get to our seat the table is dirty and hardly wiped down. It's still wet from the attempted cleaning. The walls had food dried on from children, next to the crayon wall art. After ordering the wait is usually very long and the food is below satisfactory. Sometimes we don't even receive what we ordered. Once our food arrives we noticed it was on dirty dishes and the silverware is dirty it looks like they ran it through a dishwasher but some spots remained on the plates. Cold, crusty, and bland is how I would describe the food here. My advice is to at least add more seating for a comfortable waiting experience, find waiting staff that can fill the correct orders, and give out clean dishes, and find cooks to make quality food. Service is friendly but slow. It appears that tables are only bussed when needed. I'm sure everything runs smooth when not busy, maybe they should schedule more help for rushes. I think the measure of a restuarant is how well they handle the busy times, this location needs to improve. I like eating at Bob Evans in Celina. The staff is always friendly. Tonight we ate there and my full serving of spaghetti had almost no sauce on it. The waitress apologized when she saw I wasn't eating it. She even knew what was wrong without asking so I can't really blame her. I ordered take-out to be ready at 5:10 pm on 10/15/21. I checked in and had no other interaction with staff for about 25 minutes until another person (who had to come back for his order Because they forgot half of it the first time) mentioned something to one of the workers that I have been waiting a long time as well. That was the first time I had any communication with the staff that they were waiting on my rolls. I did know that though only because I saw them keep checking them and commenting amongst themselves (workers) that they were taking forever. They weren't super busy (waiting room yes but not up front and there were several people up there at most times). But not one told me an approximate wait time or told me what I was waiting on. No one communicated that with me. I could have spent my time almost 8 months pregnant elsewhere or chose to go somewhere else to feed my family. When my food (only a family sized meal so nothing fancy or too overwhelming) Was ready, I saw the only lady who told me we were waiting on rolls go to the manager, telling her I had been waiting for a period of time. I was expecting a big discount for my wait. They took $6 off my $35 order. At that point I was beyond frustrated but didn't want to make a scene and just thanked them for finally acknowledging my long wait. I paid and left. I won't be ordering from here for awhile or probably dining there anytime soon either. I walked out with my food at 5:54, 44 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready.
