You on travel and got a meeting a 8am, but don't want the nasty fast food nearby? Come here at 7am and you will make your meeting with full tummy. I wanted something better than fast food but knew coming here would be cutting it close. So I ended up coming around 10 min before they opened just so I could get in first and get my order started. I ended up getting served quickly and got my food by 7:20am. Waitress was great and kept the coffee coming and even gave me coffee to go. I ended up leaving around 7:40am and made my meeting on time. Although the food was tasty, the service was PATHETIC today. The hostess greeted us with a sour face and sauntered slowly to show us to our table. The waitress was borderline in terms of being attentive but she was at least pleasant. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy - we've seen it much busier in the past. However as we waited to get our check, we noticed a growing line of people at the front. They were waiting there at least 15 minutes by the time we got our check and went to the check out register. There was no one minding the front and we stood for another several minutes without being acknowledged by anyone. We joked about calling the restaurant and asking the manager to come to the register. Occasionally my toast has been undercooked and my hash browns not crispy. And the one thing that really stands out is the pot roast breakfast bowl, its killer! I'm highly dissatisfied with the attention to detail when it comes to ordering food online. My experience has been 0-2 with this establishment, for this is not the first time of me ordering and coming home to only find certain items missing. Thus, I order a western omelet meal that comes with a side a bread and that was missing. In addition, to add more to the drama, I was missing a sausage link where it stated online that there is 3 links when ordering a omelet meal. Furthermore, if you plan on ordering a omelet with 3 links specified online this establishment will state that they change the links so you only get 2, thus that is false advertising. The plot still thickens for I even missed the additional home fries that is even on the receipt and was told that since I ordered the omelet meal that my fries was with the omelet smh. Its additional! I also order cinnamon bite that was supposed to come with icing yet I was let down again. I just wasted time and energy just to get a decent meal which use to be my top fav, but it seems to me that good service is hard to come by. I drove back and forth to pick up food that should be in the bag so that is gas+time and quality because now I have to reheat everything I just order and that is more effort on mine part for all the fuss I could have made it myself by now. Yet, here I am write this review for the online mobile/phone orders. Don't let this be you! Hopefully, I can trust again with this establishment but for now I am deeply hurt that no banana bread can smooth this over. I should have received a full refund which is suppose to happen but I do not want to be that guy. I know that COVID-19 is the cause of business being slow. As a resident in the area, my family made it a point to support local restaurant's in our community. I've been going to BobEvans for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but today 8/3/20, service at this place was very poor, ordered pickup, arrived time given, no came to car, ok walked in, was greeted by server, she acknowledges me, asking seating or pickup, reply pickup, she asked for name, then assured me that she'll let manger know, that's when manager (Donatay) not sure of correct spell, order was set time 7:45pm, this manger came out from back, went straight to phone, did his business, then he turned to me and asked if I needed help, gave him name, then he turns to this bag that was sitting on the counter to tell me that it was my order, so I said to him, that all this time that bag was my order, he said no one told him, he was trying to blame the server, he even argued about. Bob Evans Restaurant Corporate..you need to retrain this manager or find a replacement for him, if customers service is important to your business, the you need to make changes... read more

If there is any restaurant you want to avoid at all costs, it is Bob Evans in Aberdeen. The food is okay but the service is awful along with their attitude. I placed a phone order and was told it would be 15 to 20 minutes. I placed my order at 9:15am , and arrived at the restaurant at 9:45am. Gave my name and paid for my order. I waited and waited and waited. In the meantime I witnessed numerous Grub Hub and Door Dash orders being picked up. I asked at 10:15 am for an update; "its being worked on". At 10:30 still waiting. At this point I said cancel my order and give me a refund. The manager was called over. He went into the kitchen, and said my order should ready out front. Nothing there. He checked the register and did not find me in the system. I said you had me in the order because when I gave my name, she told the amount due which was what I was told on the phone, so obviously I had to be in the system. At that point he said he will personally make my order. He came out 5 minutes later, and I had him go over my order to ensure accurate. The store manager did so but was clearly annoyed. I said that I want it to be right because I did not want to have to come back. Then he amazingly said to me that is why we have on line ordering. What a comment to make to a customer that you had inconvenienced. I replied and that is why there are other restaurants and I will be using them going forward. As a final insult, I got home and see that my Berry Farmer's breakfast had no berries. What better way to start a Mother's Day. Can anyone say Cracker Barrel? read more
