Made me a classic large Italian sub, and it was full of veggies, meats, and provolone cheese. Look good and smell good. Took it home and my kids ate the whole thing and I never got a bite of it. So it's hard for me to review the taste of the sub, but it looked and smelled great and it was big. The sub was probably about 20 inches long? Get the large, and it was $13.99 with all the fixings loaded on it. I see no reason to not return here. Get yourself some alcohol and some sandwiches. Very basic and classic old school style liquor store in deli. Have not tried any of the hot subs yet? I will get my experience and the way the food looked probably about a 8.1 out of 10.

They had a few tables to sit, eat, relax at. The market has an opening to the bar at Pairings. I didn't ask when I picked up my cookie and scone but I wonder if I could have had it warmed up...hmm a question for next time I'm back, I suppose! And FYI: those pastries?! Yes, so much yes. The ratio of cookie to chocolate chip is highly respectable. Dare I say 50/50?! Even slightly skewed for chocolate??!? And the scone. It was actually a scone. And done well. Have you ever bought a scone and it was really a muffin in disguise? Or some sort of a croissant in another life? Well, this was a scone. Legit scone. Not too dense, not too light. Crumbly without falling apart or being too flakey. Good flavor. Bravo, scone, bravo!

Ordering is done at the counter, and they bring it out to you. Also there is a deli with meats and cheeses, also several kinds of homemade salads.. My husband had the breakfast platter, which had fried potatoes with onions, scrambled eggs, 3 bacon strips, and toast. I had the grits with butter and bacon. All was good, including the service. The entrance is on the side of the building. It was very busy with dine-in customers. I had ordered the seafood platter which includes two sides of your choice, along with tartar and cocktail sauces. It was neatly packaged and came with utensils and napkins. High marks for not using styrofoam. The food was ready at the promised time. The waitress who rang up our order was friendly. Even though it took about 10 minutes to get home after picking up my order, the food was still warm and the breaded items still had a crispy texture. The portion size was enough for two adults who aren't completely starving to share. I would have liked it if the platter included a couple lemon slices. I'll be sure to ask the next time. I'm glad this locally-owned eatery survived the dismal pandemic and is up and running, and hopefully thriving once again!

To begin with there was only one waitress to cover the entire dining room of half a dozen customers.. obviously service was slow, although she was doing her best. All condiments, including butter, salad dressing, and sour cream came in tiny plastic packets, which required peeling the top off to find the tiniest amount. I will be going back in the future only for breakfast, but not for lunch or dinner.
