    Whole fried fish

Service was amazing. Fish soup delicious... ceviche very yummy ... but the whole fish was very dry

Fish Ceviche (it came with 4 packets of crackers). More fish than expected in the little mug

The good: - the view! - the ceviche and manduros were delicious! - the mojitos... these were great! The average: - we ordered the snapper fillet and a burger. Both were okay. The fish was flavorful but a little dry. And the burger was what you'd expect for a seafood restaurant The not great: - service was really slow. It took about 15 mins to even see the hostess, and then another 10 mins to see a menu. Luckily we weren't in a rush, and the service was very kind when we did see them, but prepare to be patient. Definitely come for the view, but see expectations accordingly for food and service.

Smallest $17 drink I've ever had.

Came for a cocktail after being out on the water. The cocktail was good but definitely overpriced. Service was pretty bland and the bar is a trailer out back. Not the experience I was expecting after paying $34 for two cocktails. I'd probably stick to the Lighthouse Cafe for food and a decent priced cocktail.

Boater's Grill has been our go-to lunch spot for years -- first as a couple, now as husband and wife. Tucked away in Bill Baggs Park, it's the perfect blend of great Cuban food, peaceful waterfront views, and laid-back vibes. We've shared countless meals here -- from fresh fish dip to crispy tostones, and decent mahi-mahi sandwiches -- all made better by the breeze and the view. It's more than just a restaurant to us; it's a place full of memories.

    Small fish sandwich

Small cafe in Key Biscayne. It gets packed so you must be patient. Service is okay but food portions are small for price. I would just go there to grab an appetizer and a couple of beers at the most. The view is pretty nice. The hot sauce is the bomb!!!

Always good. Fresh and nice place to unwind after a day in the sun in Key Biscayne

Awesome place to unwind after beach day in key Biscayne. Fresh fish and the fried tostones are delish. The big huge problem here, and I'm not the only one in this platform saying this is, service is not good, rude and unapologetically late... I've been coming to this place for many years and this has been always an issue. My point of view is: I like the fish and the view so is worth the wait and be patient with the servers.

Was a bit hesitant to check out this spot but considering it's location some things might make up for the other... Service was a bit too casual - no one was rude but we felt rushed to order only to take about 30 minutes to cash us out after handing over our credit card. Food was fresh & delicious - while the stone crabs were decently priced other items on the menu have gone up significantly & can be compared between what's currently on their website vs what's on the hard copy menus. That in itself was a bit of a turn off. Some things should be a bit more competitively priced including the burgers and appetizers. The open deck sitting area is shaded enough to feel the cool breeze coming in from the dock. Very serene & private location. It is worth coming here if you have out of towner who want a change of scenery & want to try the local fresh seafood.

No clue why this place only has three stars. Everyone at my table thought it was delicious. This ceviche was super fresh, I had my mahi sandwich fried and there was a massive piece of mahi on it. That was absolutely delicious. The whole fried fish was next level. The fries were great too and everything pretty affordable. As ambience, I mean, you're on the water and it's sunny and hot out, it's exactly what you would expect. The service was good, no complaints.

    Grilled mahi mahi
    Mahsa T.

Average, but decent food, with amazing views of No Name Harbor. Decently priced. The first time I came here, my mahi mahi was great, the second time I ordered the same thing and it tasted like it was a frozen piece of fish that was overcooked and tough as cardboard. But I will give them the benefit of the doubt and give them four instead of three stars based on my first experience. Pina colada was good. Slow service both times, though our second server was much nicer and more attentive.

In a word everything. The decor is not awful itself, but feels a little industrial, with televisions plunked over the walls. But the service and the food just take it to a different level of bad. Our waitress hadn't the faintest clue to what she was doing. She asked how well done we wanted our carpaccio. She so clearly didn't know what she was doing, I had her recite our orders back to me. How could she mess that up? Good question. How about serving all of the food at one time, appetizers and main course? We had carpaccio, supposedly Argentine beef; a pancho; a filet mignon; and Milanezza Martin. Starting with the semi edible, the fillet was not good, the presentation was awful, stock dry on its own on a black plate, with mashed potatoes in a separate ramekin on the side, and the sad chimichurri sauce also in a separate ramekin, but you could swallow it. Everything else was a disgrace. The milanezza was junk they got out of the fridge and microwave before they planted it on the table. My daughter found it literally non-edible, and she is the kindest of diners. She said it tasted like the fridge... A kind way of putting it The pancho was a profoundly bland hot dog in a stale bun. But the "carpaccio" took pride of place. Simultaneously part-frozen and decaying beef, of which my daughter took a bite, and then was stuck finding a polite way to spit it into a napkin. North of inedible. All of this terrible food was put onto our table at one time, about three minutes after we ordered it, because obviously it had just been defrosted in the microwave. And to add insult to injury, the waitress came by, with a toothy, TGIF smile, and said how are we doing? Bloody awful is the only answer. In a move that clearly reflects where the restaurant is at, I noticed they put 19% automatically on the bill for "service". Then they had the cojones to ask for more of a tip when you sign electronically on the tableside device. I looked at the waitress incredulously with raised eyebrows, and that was that. Never again.

We are passionate about following expert award winning chefs so are critical of service, presentation and quality of food. And we travel around the world experiencing flavors of the world. Our recent experience at Novecento was spot on! Checking off all the boxes (as Paul Hollywood would say on the British Bake off ). We took advantage of the '34th anniversary lunch / dinner menu". A great 3 course meal at almost half the price and to top it off the '50% off Tuesday' special on the fabulous wine selections. My burrata and my husband's Ceviche = fabulous and generous. All 3 of us ordered NY Steak, again spot on - cooked as ordered, and a generous portion, and flavorful. I rarely order mashed potatoes and not only did I eat mine I had to help my aunt with hers too! The deserts- also something I generally skip - I couldn't resist; excellent Flan, outstanding Crepes with Dulce de Leche with spectacular vanilla ice cream. And the Wine!!! Absolutely amazing. With that said, I will never return. There is no strategy when it comes to welcoming and servicing clients. No one to sit you when you arrive. Tables were left filled with other's trash. Clients often picking it up themselves to be able to sit. When I finally got a table, I had to wait 30mins for it to be cleaned. I waited another 20 mins to be helped after waiving down the overworked waitress (who was really nice). Ordered an overpriced charcuterie board from their VERY limited menu and two Pinot noirs. I asked for the manager to discuss the trash and lack of service --- manager never came. After 30 more mins we got our charcuterie board, no waters, no utensils, no wine. Finished the food, wine got there 10 mins later, it was oxidized and undrinkable. I asked to talk to the manager again. Waited. Nothing. I approached the security guard to ask for the manager, he was very nice and apologetic, I believe Fabian was his name. He said the manager was busy and could not talk. Very disappointing experience. I will never return. The hope is that ownership sees this and changes management. Poor management turned into poor staffing, which turned into disappointed customers. We were not the only ones. If you decide to visit, I say...... BYOB and enjoy the views. They are so incredibly understaffed, it's not worth the frustration to try and get service. Food quality was poor.
