I was going to eat there and spend about $200 until the security guard kicked me out of my parking spot marked "Kaaya customers only"

I will note it can be on the pricey side for dinner but I've heard their brunch is a hit! Our family of 9 have a pleasant evening with good service! Our waiters recommendations were appreciated as well as her honesty for portions. Notable bites: Crab cake Sushi Rosemary fries Coffee Lava cake!!! We couldn't give this an overall 5 star for simple measures including hot items presenting cold when brought to the table and price point but overall we were satisfied! We look forward to trying what their brunch has to offer!

We celebrated a 70th birthday here, and the guest of honor was thoroughly impressed. The location offers incredible, sweeping views of the water and the Miami downtown skyline, and the sophisticated interior sets a wonderful upscale tone. The menu has a great variety, including excellent options on the kids' menu. Just note that the portions are very large! The Chilean Sea Bass was the absolute highlight--flaky and delicious. The only minor downside was the fried fish filet, which had a bit too much breading. Overall, between the breathtaking views and the fantastic ambiance, it was a memorable night. Highly recommend!

One of the best creamed spinach i ever put in my mouth. 8.7/10 Lobster Roll - Thats a really nice lobster roll. Its citrus forward, bread is nice and texturey with the toast. Don't worry about the dress code as it varies significantly, and be prepared for a bit of a wait on busy nights. The staff has generally been around FOREVER, and they're kind, patient, and characters in their own right; which is part of the charm. When it comes to the food, stick to the stone crab... maybe add some fried chicken for good measure. They do stone crab exceptionally well. While we've been here several times, we make a point of coming back strictly for the crab. A true Miami classic that still delivers. The place is quite large and offers throw back decor.

Theres just no point to get anything else. The tostones with shrimps were delicious and the fish strips were outstanding. Everything was very fresh and you could taste it too. For my main I had fried grouper. My party ordered a whole red snapper and a red snapper filet. It was excellent. The only complaint is that dependent on the fish it could taste a little dry. They have great cilantro garlic sauce and good drinks! The service is okay, its not crazy good but not terrible. For the price I understand why people would expect something more in that area. It was $289 for 4 people so I would say its a bit overpriced. The ambiance is great. Very chill crowd and everyone seems to be here for the same thing, good seafood and a great view!

We've been coming to Boater's Grill by boat for two decades now. Let's be honest: the food was…read morenever award-winning, but the appeal was always the same; there are precious few restaurants in Miami you can actually pull up to by boat, and the waterfront setting is genuinely beautiful. That location has carried this place for years. Lately, though, that goodwill is running out. On our last several visits, we've experienced consistently rude and inattentive service, along with food that's mediocre at best; and priced as if it were fine dining. This isn't a one-off bad night. Multiple boater friends who dock here regularly have told us the exact same thing, unprompted, which tells us this isn't an isolated incident but a pattern. Whether this is due to a change in management, staff turnover, or simply a sense that the location alone will keep customers coming regardless of quality, something has clearly shifted. And that's the frustrating part: because Boater's Grill has so little competition for boat-accessible dining in Miami, it can coast on location alone while service and food quality slide; with little market pressure to improve. We're writing this not to pile on, but because we actually want to keep coming back. We'd genuinely like to see management take a hard look at staff training, portion/pricing value, and basic hospitality. A restaurant with this kind of setting has the potential to be a real destination; right now, it's coasting on scenery alone, and that's a shame. If ownership or management is reading this: your regulars are noticing, and we'd rather see this fixed than watch a great location go to waste on a mediocre experience.

We started the night with amazing cocktails made by Julio behind the bar. This is my third time to this location and his drinks are always so good. The perfect balance of flavor, sweetness and alcohol. The food was perfect. I think these were the best Calamari's I had in a long time. The lemon and the sauce sizzle on top was absolutely delicious. The shrimp cocktail was filling too. It was huge. The best part was the dessert! The butter cake and the chocolate cake were exquisite! It made the night even better. The cherry on top was when the manager, Nick, came by to say hi. He's super attentive and it was a pleasure to chat with him. His team is so friendly and happy, I can only assume it's his leadership that nurtures this environment. Special thanks to Becca and Jesus to being friendly and happy. You guys made a difference. :)

My friend and I waited near the hostess stand for a bit and felt overlooked as everyone was understandably focused on the situation. A simple "hello, welcome, we'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. Having worked in hospitality for many years, I know things happen behind the scenes, but guest communication is so important. After a short wait, the manager stepped in, apologized, and got us seated, which I really appreciated. From that point on, the service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and helpful, and I especially want to shout out the food runner, who was personable and made a great impression. One thing that could have been handled better: our server took our drink order but never mentioned happy hour. When we later asked for the menu, we were told it was only available at the bar. Since I use a wheelchair for mobility, getting onto a bar stool would have been difficult, so I felt that a more accessible accommodation should have been offered. You'll see in my video I was the 4 top right next to the bar. That said, the food was good, and I still had a nice time with my friend. With just a little more attention to communication and accessibility, this could have been an even better experience.
